“Very nice hotel and the rooms seemed bigger than average. The room I stayed in had two double beds and a couch bed in a sectional couch. Hairdryer and iron in room is a nice touch.”

• No vending machines on the floors and pop priced too high in the lobby.

“I loved everything about this hotel. Everyone one was very friendly. The only thing was that they did not have vending machines on the floors and charged 2.40 for a bottle of pop at the front desk. Other than that being way over priced. It was a nice experience. We'll come back but just bring our own snacks.”

“The rooms were spacious, the furniture was comfortable and the bed was well made up. The bath and surrounds from granite were a lovely touch. Even had a shower curtain for fat people.”

• Bathroom was ugly. Room smelled musty, shower had slow drain.

“Our room had several issues. Bathroom was old and unattractive, and the tub backed up several inches while showering from a slow drain. The room smelled musty, and we were told by maintenance that the fridge had leaked previously.”

• Quiet, excellent TV, clean.
• The lack of division between the living room and sleeping area.

“Overall the amenities and service were quite adequate. The TV was well above what you would normally get in this type of hotel. The bed was comfortable. My one big negative was the lack of separation between the living room area and the sleeping area. My young son slept on the sofa bed in the living room area and there was no way to block the light from the TV or bedroom lamps. In addition, the sink was separate from the bathroom so when we were using the sink that light also kept him awake. It would be nice if they had a sliding curtain that would block the light when someone is trying to sleep. Also the fruit at breakfast was very poor. It looked like it was 2 or 3 days old.”

• We liked everything. Cleanliness was the most important to me and it definitely met my standards! I felt safe and the hotel staff was friendly.
• The only thing I can think of was to have a fan in the bathroom. Suffocating after showers!

“The location of the hotel was very convenient for visiting Kings Island. The bed was so comfortable. Any of the staff we had contact with were friendly and informative. Safety and cleanliness are my top priorities and my expectations were more than met. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others.”

• Some employees were rude.

“Overall, the stay was good. There was an incident however where I slipped because of the floor being wet (no signs posted) and fell on my face (literally) and busted both upper and lower lips open, suffered a mild concussion, a black eye, a bruised knee, and a severe headache that lasted several days. The hotel manager did not even offer to comp one nights stay (I stayed 3 nights) - would have thought that some sort of compensation would have been appropriate! Maybe I should have sued them!”

• The room was very nice. The kitchen and computer area were very convenient.
• Air conditioner ran all night and was loud interfering with sleeping.

• Stunk, dirty, unsafe location, horrible customer service, terrible.

“This is not what we expected from hotel. The hotel had a horrible smell throughout. The rooms were not clean. The shower was dirty and leaked all over the floor. After writing a lengthy complaint I have still heard nothing from the chain. I would only recommend this hotel if it was the last one on earth- actually, sleeping in the car would have been more hospitable.”

• Lobby area a bit cramped with limited staff to deal with customers.

“I would definitely stay at another Hyatt Place and certainly at the Blue Ash location. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. I enjoyed the modern, stylish room and it was nice to have the big flat-panel TV that could be rotated. I also enjoyed the couch/living area and how it felt separated from where the bed was. All in all, a nice experience!”

• Most of the people working there were friendly. However, the blond girl that checked us in had a bad attitude.
• I loved the fact that you had huge TVs. However, it hardly got any channels!

“It was not a bad place to stay. It's excellent for business travelers. However, when I travel it is never for business and I always end up at a Hyatt Place. If at all possible, I would like to end up staying somewhere other than Hyatt Place.”

• That there were two queen beds and a pull out bed. Large enough for my grandson to play in.
• The employees are rude and unfriendly. Money disappeared from our room.

“While I love the rooms, we didn't enjoy the employees. They say they will change the bedding and towels every three days and they did not do that. It was changed on our 6th day there. The people at the front desk act as if you are bothering them if you ask questions. There were also loud parties (3 of 7 nights we were there) in the lobby area. After one night the hallway outside of our room was littered with trash all the way into the next afternoon.”

• No microwave in the room, toilet area very small.

“The actual bathing/toilet area of the bathroom was only large enough for about half an adult, and there was some inconsistency with having a refrigerator but no microwave in the room, making it less appropriate for some travelers. Other than that, I found the room to be spacious and comfortable overall, a pleasant refuge after a busy day.”

“This hotel looked ok from the outside. Once I walked inside I was amazed. It was beautiful. Our hotel room was stunning. Everything was clean, the decor was attractive and I would love to have the same blue wallpaper in my bathroom. Great stay.”

• The room was big and roomy with a big screen TV.
• The staff was not very helpful they anted you to check in through their automated system so they were not quick to help.

“The rooms were awesome but the staff was not very helpful. I also could not figure out if breakfast was free or if you had to pay for it and the staff was impossible to locate. They had a register on the counter to charge to your room. This hotel was at a level where people normally expect a free continental breakfast.”

“Overall a nice stay for families and especially business travelers, but poor channel quantity and quality on the TV, the pool was closed, the A/C was broken in the first room, the door jam was broken in the second room, we couldn't check in early because the attendant didn't know how to "make that happen", but the rest of the staff was very helpful, staff/decor great, mainly because the pool was closed that really should be noted, (when the pool opens and closes) as I have had this problem before and for us it is extremely important.”

• Check-in is quick and easy via the kiosk in the lobby.
• Shower and tile need refinished or replaced.

“We always like staying at the Hyatt Place. It was completely renovated recently and is a hug improvement over the old AmeriSuites. The only complaint we had is that a college baseball team was staying in the hotel and were very loud and unruly well after 1:00 am.”

• I liked the hide-a-bed.
• The hide-a-bed did not have enough bedding. I should have requested bedding. Could you please have spoon size shredded wheat for breakfast cereal?

“The staff was friendly. The hotel is newly renovated. The last time that I stayed at this hotel, they were in the midst of the renovation project. It was noisy and there was no hot water. They have had boiler problems. This time I had hot water. Blue Ash is a great area. There are great restaurants nearby.”

“I have stayed in this location during the transformation into a Hyatt Place. I was amazed once I stepped into the lobby how the hotel has changed. The rooms and hotel are very stylish without being uptight. The location is convenient to highways and eating establishments, but isn't too congested. I would definitely stay here again!”
