• I loved having the free buffet breakfast.
• The bathroom in the room was disqusting.

“The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms' bathroom was not appealing. The tub's plug area was bubbling and the floor needed updating. The tub also needed to be recaulked. Appliances need to be updated. An indoor pool would be nice.”

“Pool was closed for repair. No adjoining rooms which is bad when traveling with kids. Although I booked two rooms at the same time, hotel could not put the rooms side by side, or trade two 1 rooms suites for one 2 room suite. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly.”

• Room was extremely clean and the heater worked well.
• The internet was terribly slow.

“I enjoyed my stay enough. I do not like staying in places with outside access to the room. I prefer interior hallways. It was very clean and should I need a kitchen for an extended trip, this is a good option.”

“I was sorry I was only staying one night. The room was spotless, & the bed was wonderful. The work desk with internet connection was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive, & the staff kept the area neat. Everyone was very friendly & efficient. Having the kitchen in the room, this place would be ideal for a longer stay.”

• Nice room, great breakfast, lots of windows.
• Stairs getting to room, no elevators.

“Great for price, super breakfast and healthy choices too! Room was clean and very spacious. We had a full kitchen and could have stayed all week. Only issue was the stairs getting to the room- very difficult getting large suitcase and tired 4 year old up to the room at same time.”

• Had to order in from limited restaurant choices; food was bad.

“I made a mistake in marking the question about the on-site restaurant; this hotel had none. I loved the comfort of having the kitchen and spacious living area, and the free Internet access was a great bonus. I'll hope to stay there again.”

• The room felt like a studio apartment not a hotel room.
• Our room faced the highway which made it a little noisier than other rooms would have been.

“Traveling with a 4 year old is always an experience, however this one was extremely fulfilling. My family enjoyed the hotel very much. The fireplace was a beautiful touch to a pleasant, peaceful, clean room. The free internet access was another perk. We only wish we could have visited during the warmer months to enjoy the pool. The breakfast was phenomenal. Not your donuts and coffee kind of place. A true full hot breakfast! Can't wait to spend a few more days there!”

• The breakfast buffet was fantastic.
• The pool and Jacuzzi should not have been closed.

“The rooms are spacious and very nice. The morning breakfast is fantastic with a large variety of items to pick from. The hotel is quite a long distance from downtown Cincinnati but it is very close to a large mall, the Kenwood mall, which is very nice and has a movie theater in it. However, I was disappointed that the pool and Jacuzzi was closed when it was 90 degrees outside. The other hotels in the area did have the outside pools open.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The remote to the TV didn't work but I didn't tell them I'm sure they would have fixed it.

“We were very happy with our stay and would love to stay again. We planned a trip to Kings island and the time saved by the breakfast provided by the hotel saved us a lot of time.”

• It gave us lot of space for the price, and was very neat and clean.
• Nothing. For its two and a half star rating, it's a good deal.

“As we were in town to look at houses, we only needed something basic. The Residence Inn provided a nice, clean room with bedroom, bathroom, sitting area and kitchenette. I really appreciated the free parking and free Internet, as that's something we paid a premium for in the downtown hotels. Also the free breakfast offers a lot of options that were very tasty again we paid an arm and a leg for a lower-quality buffet in a downtown hotel the week prior. It was close to the freeway, (without being noisy) which was a plus for us. A great option for families, couples or business travelers looking for good accommodations at a reasonable price.”

• Excellent buffet breakfast and wonderful staff. Location is great and internet access so useful.
• Something about room did not feel cozy. Not sure what...maybe Counters or Kitchen floor.

“I enjoyed this property and it's location very much. I especially enjoyed the amenities that made my stay simple, like the free internet access in room and the computer and printer in the lobby. I loved the little market and the buffet in the morning was fantastic. The staff was top notch and very helpful. Thank you”

• Large room, full kitchen, free HSI, and a good breakfast.
• No ice machines - rooms have a fridge but our ice maker didn't work.

“Very nice rooms, close in to several restaurants and about 10 minutes to Kings Island. There is a lot of counter space in the fully stocked complete kitchen - utensils, plates, cups, etc, and a nice work area with free Internet. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler, business or personal.”

• I did not know that there were all of the facilities in the room (kitchen, etc.) That would be wonderful!

• Nothing. This hotel was great!!!!

“This hotel was one of the best that I have every stayed in. The rooms were like apartments with a full kitchen. We even had a fireplace. It was real close to Kings Island. The hot breakfast was wonderful.”

“When we walked into our room the first thing we saw was a fireplace, just like home. The staff was very helpful, even the guest seemed like family. Great place to stay and have fun. It was close to everything. Just a few minutes to fun or shopping.”

• Flexibility in arrival, we were able to check in at 8:00 a.m. Breakfast, breakfast, breakfast!
• There were no convience stores around this hotel other than that nothing!

“Wonderful and friendly staff. Rooms were immaculate and very family friendly. We arrived in town a lot earlier than expected. I called to see if we could check in a little earlier, expecting the staff to tell me that we had to wait until that afternoon. Not only could we check in early but they offered us breakfast that morning. This was a wonderful hotel and I will definitely look for this chain whenever my family travels. ***** 5 -star rating!”

• room was next to B-ball court which kept us up. Called staff who told us they shut it down and 9:00 - not true

“ She told us that the basketball court would be shut down at a reasonable time. When it was not and we called back she basically told us she that she gave us the wrong time and would not do anything about it. Also empty liquor bottles littered the pool in the morning.”
