• Fridge and microwave in room without even having to ask.
• Open air duct in the shower, likely taken off by previous patron who was a smoker.

“Hotel was in a good location in the Arts District, front desk were very helpful, had a nice corner room with a microwave and stove, a couch, flat screen TV, a cabinet with a few dishes, cups. For a simple person who doesn't ask for much I was impressed! Shower was clean, towels and bed linens were replaced (just remember to put the card on your pillow if you want them to clean it). Overall, a good experience.”

• Friendly and helpful staff made the stay great. Great location!
• Parking was expensive and difficult to access. No self parking.

“The hotel was clean and very nicely decorated. Rooms were clean and had a great set up for families or the business traveler. There is a small kitchen with eating area and separate desk and workspace. Also had couch/hide-a-bed. The staff was wonderful! Friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about the area. Eager to help make our stay in Atlanta fun.”

• Fast efficient valet, large room with fridge & LCD TV.
• Smelly elevators and hallway, windows face another building.

“This hotel exceeded my expectations for my stay in Atlanta. I was basically looking for a place to spend the night in between visiting museums and Atlanta attractions. The room was nicer than I expected, with a small kitchen with full fridge, a sitting area with a sofa and recliner, a king-sized bed, and an LCD TV. Plus, the hotel is only one block away from the High Museum of Art. On the down side, the elevator smelled really bad, and the hallway on my floor smelled pretty awful too. They cook and serve breakfast on that floor, so that may be the reason for the smell - it was sort of an egg-like smell. Fortunately, the smell didn't go into the room much. The windows in the room also faced out on another building, so not a great view. However, if you are not looking to lounge in the hotel throughout your entire visit, and just want a nice place to park it at the end of the day, I would highly recommend this hotel!”

• Location.

“I've stayed at this property several times; its location across the road from the art museum is great. But this time, the mattress was very hard. Too hard to ever really get comfortable. And there was a water leak in the bathroom that made the floor wet. We reported the problem, but were not given the option of switching rooms. Then the following morning (day of our check out) at about 8 am, a maintenance worker tried to barge into the room, then a guest services rep came up to the room and rudely asked why we had not switched rooms! I didn't know it was up to the hotel guests to make those sorts of arrangements. Bad guest services in my opinion.”

• The hotel was great. It had it's own little kitchen and sitting area which was wonderful.
• The directions getting to the hotel. There are 2 of them in Atlanta and one is on NE and on is on SW, not clearly marked on direction or the address.

“Overall a great place to stay at. Good for people with kids, you can get some food and keep it in the fridge and make it later. Comfortable room and friendly staff.”

• The people were warm and friendly, but very professional.
• There was absolutely nothing that I did not like about this hotel.

“This hotel provided a very beautiful room for us to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. The close proximity to downtown afforded us pleasant walks to main attractions and the food was delicious. The staff and the total experience will never be forgotten.”

• Attractive decor.
• Paid valet parking.

“Attractive, clean place, but had to wait 45 minutes after I arrived - room wasn't clean. I was originally told 15 minutes, so after 45 minutes, I became angry. I was then upgraded to a suite. Also, I stayed at this place 3 years prior and parking was free then.”

• The room was very stylish and comfortable, the full hot breakfast great.
• Lots of construction going on made it hard to get to; parking was $19 per night.

“Great hotel located in midtown. Room had kitchen facilities with soft, flat panel TV and queen size bed. Staff was great. The only problem is the charge for parking but there is off street parking at the corner or lots within two blocks. Would definitely return!”

“This is a beautiful hotel in a great location. My only complaint is that the parking is overpriced ($19/day, valet only) and that the valets are overworked and slow. Also, we did not get maid service on our two-day stay. We left the room at 10am, and returned at 5pm. Housekeeping had not visited the room yet. They did call to ask about service, but the timing was inconvenient, and we told them not to bother.”

• I like the convenient location and the microwave and refrigerator.
• The parking was very expensive.

“The residence inn is a great hotel. It's in a very convenient location close to many attractions and nightlife. The room was huge and it had a refrigerator and microwave. I definitely will be back the next time I stay in Atlanta. The only downside is that the parking is very expensive. $19/day.”

• Rooms a little small for all features.

“On a business trip I took my wife and two year old son. Even with the tight quarters, the service was excellent; the breakfast was top notch and the staff exceptionally friendly. Valet parking was a plus, although the neighborhood is slightly off downtown and may be a tad undesirable to a very select few. It is within walking distance to everything downtown. Along with the free internet, this place is a steal for anybody on a budget but doesnt want to feel like they scrimped on extended accommodations. .”

“This hotel was well located within Mid-town Atlanta. The room was spacious with a full kitchenette. The room furnishings were new and well appointed. The lobby was not spacious, but very neat and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

• The suite was very comfortable and clean and the buffet was delicious.
• When I arrived the suite I asked for was not the one they placed me in and I ended up having to pay more money that was unexpected.

“Hotel was beautiful and situated in mid-town close to everything. I walked a block to attend my business meeting which was extremely convenient. The valet parking attendants were very nice and eager to help which make the $20 a night parking fee at least tolerable.”

• It was unreasonable that hotel guests had to pay to use the hotel parking garage

“The hotel and experience at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the price was outstanding. The hotel required guests to pay $19.00 a night to use the parking garage which many of the guests I spoke with thought was unreasonable. Other than the parking issue, the hotel was great.”

“The hotel was in a great location to visit Atlanta. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the fully equipped kitchen was wonderful to have while traveling with an 11 month old child. The valet only parking was a little inconvenient at times and the $ 19/night parking charge plus tips of course was a surprise. Overall our stay was great and I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.”

“The hotel and the staff were all very much what we expected, more really. It is in an excellent location to major attractions as well as near lots of good restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is some other guests were very unruly, however the hotel and staff were in no way to blame for this and took care of the problem as soon as I brought it to their attention.”

• Excellent front desk staff with check-in and check-out a breeze. Breakfast was better than most other places I¿ve recently stayed.

• The breakfast every morning, the room efficiency and cleanliness.
• Wish they had a double bed option.

“This hotel is great for business travelers or groups of 2. The rooms consist of king beds and queen beds with a pullout sofa. The rooms are very clean with full efficiency kitchens. They offer an excellent free breakfast every morning. The front desk staff and valet parking staff were excellent.”

• It has a homey feeling to it, especially ideal for people who like home.
• The parking was outrageously expensive; they should have had better rates for guest of the hotel.
