• The location was excellent.
• The decor of the hotel is not top notch, but that's to be expected from a 2 and half star hotel.

• It wasn't too far from Turner Field.
• I didn't like having to pay for parking especially when there wasn't enough spaces to park.

“The hotel was good because it wasn't too far from Turner Field. They could have done better with the parking since you had to pay, plus they had a section blocked off where you couldn't park. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.”

• I did not like the fact that we were charged more for 2 beds and that it was $30 for parking.

“The hotel was centrally located and, overall, an ok place to stay. However, it was clear that the day front desk clerk as well as the reservation desk were not friendly. I called too make sure that we had 2 beds in our room. We were traveling as a family so 2 beds were very necessary. Also, once arriving we found out that they also charge $30 for parking.”

• Nice Rooms.
• It was connected to a much lower grade hotel. Hallways run down.

“I would stay there again. This hotel seemed to be connected to a lower quality hotel and the hallways were not indicative of the 3 star level. We had no problems and have no complaints other than the price and rating of the hotel.”

• The toiletries were by bath and body works, bed was comfortable.

• The location was great and the room layout with the view of the pool was nice.
• I chose a 2.5 hotel expecting some amenities in the room like a fridge and a microwave, none of which were available.

“The whole layout of the hotel is nice. The alternative exits that allow you to leave the hotel bypassing the lobby were attractive. The hotel offered a 24-hour coffee service, which I enjoyed, saving me the trouble of brewing in the room or driving out looking for a coffee cafe.”

• Beautiful room, very clean hotel, and a very convenient location!
• Paying for parking.

“This hotel was fabulous. I was very impressed with the staff, the outside appearance of the hotel, and the inside of the hotel. The room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The bathroom was very nice - the hygiene products in the bathroom were from Bath & Body Works and were wonderful. Overall a great hotel!”

“Very unhappy with this hotel. The TV barely received any of the stations, we were locked out of our room because the lock broke, we had to go to the desk 3 times before a technical person was sent up. The hair dry actually set on fire. We even had to pay 15 dollars a night to park at the hotel we were staying at. We'll never stay here again. Very disappointed. We've stayed at a cheaper motel and have gotten better rooms, with a mini fridge and microwave.”

• The hotel was modern, the rooms were a nice size, and the bathrooms were really clean.
• I did not like the fact that as a guest, you were required to pay for parking.

“I was pleased with the hotel. The spacious rooms and the modern furniture really impressed me. The bathroom was a pretty decent size and it appeared to be very clean. The carpet looked freshly installed and the room smelled pleasant when I walked in. Overall, I was really impressed.”

• Lobby & restaurant not completely finished with renovation.

“The hotel staff acted as though they didn't want to check me in. As I was checking in cab drivers were cursing at my wife and I had to go out and intervene. I was charged $15 a night for parking which was not expected. The room smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking, the phone did not work, the shower was dirty and the drain cover was off and sitting in the tub. Had to have maintenance come and repair the smoke alarm which was beeping non stop. The beds were not comfortable at all. Terrible!”

• Great location, 24 hour taxi service at hotel, bar, comfortable bed & pillows.
• The elevator near our room was too loud.

“overall a great hotel. friendly staff- great bartender & breakfast, the beds & pillows were very comfortable. the only thing I really disliked was our room was right next to an elevator & every time it opened it sounded like suitcases rolling by our door. It woke me up at like 7 AM. The hotel said they couldn't do anything about it.”

“It was in a great location right off the exit in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. Boy was I wrong. The staff was very rude very poor customer service skills. The internet barely worked. I missed my Friday deadline thanks to there tacky internet service. The maintenance man walked in without knocking, on my girlfriend and I, during an intimate moment and I had my "Do not Bother" sign up (you what sigh I mean). The water did not work for 2 days of my stay. So after bringing this to the hotel manager attention she gave me a sleazy gift basket and a free night stay. That free night didn't help there where kids running through the hotel and I couldn't sleep. I finally said fuck it and packed my bags and left the hotel. If I wouldn't have needed internet so bad I would have had a better stay at the Motel 6.”

• It was under renovation so front desk wasn't that attractive yet.

• Due to renovation, room was in "old condition", shower was "moldy", and HVAC was noisy.

“In the future the hotel might be better after the renovations are completed. I would not have stayed there if I had known the hotel was under renovation. I was not told beforehand.”

• Lobby was under major construction.

“January 2007 the lobby in under a full rebuild. It is difficult to get to this hotel by car, there is no obvious entrance. Even after finding the sign I ended up in the lobby. Otherwise the hotel was quite nice, check in and out was quick, they had cabs waiting and called one for me. The room looked very new and well kept, but strangely had several small mechanical defects (blinds were stuck, shower hose had leak that shot water on the floor, remote control had broken keys). I would assume those are room specific and I would definitely stay there again.”

• The parking was fenced in and 10.00/day.
• It was the loudest room I've ever stayed in.

“Although I didn't expect much for the low price, we were disappointed. It was not as easy to walk to nearby attractions as we had hoped (the snow in Atlanta didn't help either). Because the doors open to the parking lot, we heard everything outside, inside, and above us. It sounded like someone was tap-dancing in their bathroom above our room.”

• Parking was $10 per day, Im already paying for the room, don't make me pay extra to have a car.

• We reported the phone out of order and a person was there promptly to repair the phone.
• I was well pleased with the service and have nothing adverse to say.

“The thing that surprised me was the fee for parking your car there as a guest of the hotel. I had not encountered that before.”

“I was surprise at how small the rooms were. By far the most un comfortable place I stayed in. although the room was very clean, it took me 5 minutes to get in the room, because the room key didnt work. The door looked like it had been kicked in before.”

“To start we were getting settled in and our door opens there stands a couple who had been given our room too, then the front desk calls and ask what we where doing there and who are we, why are we in that room when I told her she just hung up. do not leave the hotel parking area that is paid parking, because even if you have paid for the night there might not be a parking place left when you return and they don't care, the rooms the paint on the door was wet, construction stuff everywhere small rooms, noise. Poor customer service, would not advise no one to stay there.”

• The location was good.
• The room was very small, old and smelly. I do not think that the bedspread had been cleaned in years.

“This hotel is linked with another hotel on the same grounds and the other hotel is in better condition. The Baymont relies on all of the amenities from the other hotel and the staff directs you to the other hotel for restaurant use, lounge use and lobby shop. The Baymont needs to be updated, or either completely attached to the other hotel so that you do not have to walk across a dark parking lot at night to eat or get a bottle of water. It would also be helpful if they had more staff available at night.”

• Friendly/helpful staff-wonderful bed.
• The walking distance to my everyday destination was a little further than I like, but it was offset by what I did like.

“Starting with the parking attendant, check-in/out was quick and friendly. They remembered my name everyday. Great coffee in the lobby all of the time. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would stay there again. I felt it was a safe hotel all around, even the parking garage (leaving items in my car).”

“This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. At night was like a ghetto! People all over drinking, partying in the rooms, trash everywhere. Ruined my entire birthday weekend. Didn't feel safe or clean there.”

• The pool was beautiful and breakfast was great
• Did not like that they charge daily to park in their own parking lot even for their own guests!

“This was a great deal. We loved the hotel; they even had a computer with internet available to guests. I couldnt have asked for better. Also, the pool was unbelievable. The only thing we didnt like was that we had to pay to park in there own parking lot!”
