- The hotel was beautiful and in great condition despite the on going renovations.
- They charged for internet services and for local phone calls. The guest book was missing info about local area, dining out, etc.

- This hotel was just too luxurious for words.
- Atlanta has so many one way streets that we had to go several blocks out of our way to locate the hotel.

- It is a beautiful hotel. Impressive.

“This hotel is located in downtown Atlanta. Its right in the heart of the city and comparable to all other hotels that rate in the same star category (4 stars). The dining is pricey, but the food was excellent.”

- Great location, clean, comfortable rooms, great atmosphere.
- The pool was closed for renovations during our stay.
“Great place to stay. Very friendly accommodating staff. Great workout room with a view. Only short coming the pool was under renovation during our stay. However, I found out they arranged for guest to use the pool at the Sheraton just 2 blocks away. So the kids were happy.”

“Hotel was very nice with a great view. Prices for meals including breakfast were outrageous. The pool was closed and will continue to be closed for weeks. That was a huge disappointment having kids there at night. Once there, we also found that parking was an additional $25 per day plus tips for the valets. Overall, the hotel was nice but between the pool being closed, outrageous prices and surcharges out the ying yang, it was disappointing. In addition, they said they weren't affected by the recent tornado. However, getting to it with all the closed roads was a bear.”

- The room was updated. New carpet, paint & furnishings. Great views from upper floors. Quiet.
- The valet parking staff was a little disorganized but in thief defense there had been a tornado in Downtown Atlanta near the hotel the night before.
“Very nice. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Updated rooms. Good new restaurants. Remodeling projects going on in part of lobby but is was quiet and kept neat, clear and clean. Great views from upper floors.”

- Beautiful rooms, plenty of dining options, upgraded our room to an Executive Suite.
- Even though there were tornados (First time in Atlanta's history) they would not reschedule reservation.
“Because the tornado's did not cause damage to this hotel, we were still expected to show. The front desk clerk even said, we would be "hard pressed to find a way there, but that once we get there we would still enjoy ourselves". We waited until the last minute, to make sure the weather was ok to travel in and that more damage was not going to happen down town, and we checked in late, they upgraded our room to an executive suite which was beautiful, and he was right- we loved being there! It was a great and luxurious getaway, especially for parents of three small ones.”

- The view of the city from my window was awesome and the bed slept extremely well.
- Adjustable thermostat in the room did not work properly and I was freezing until I got under the down comforter/never received requested toothbrush.
“The hotel was clean, the parking was a bit expensive but they were prompt and friendly and at the end of the day it was worth the convenience. I will definitely stay there again!”

- Excellent service and beautiful hotel. The beds were wonderful.
- The hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool was under renovation, I did not know that until check-in. Was very disappointed.
“This was a gorgeous hotel. Our view from the 41st floor was spectacular. The staff was very professional and friendly. The valet parking was nice on such a cold, windy day. But for nice weather, I recommend parking at a near-by garage for a fraction of the cost. The pool & hot tub were not open & that was a major disappointment to me and my mother, who looked forward to the hot tub all week long. We were very close to the Fox theater, just a short 2-minute drive away, as was the aquarium. Very comfortable & clean.”

“I was not pleased with my stay. The room for one was entirely too small and the front desk manager did not make any arrangements for us to move to another room. Also, we had to wait 30 minutes for the valet to bring around our vehicle after we checked out the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!”

- It is clean and safe. the renovations were just about completed.
- I did not like the parking. If you need to go to your room and leave out within an half hour you have to have a valet park for you. Parking is 24.00.

“The Marriot Marquis is an excellent hotel--definitely 4 star. Every staff member with whom I interacted was friendly and helpful. The restaurant we chose was Sear. Both food and atmosphere were great. It was quite nice to be able to walk through buildings and enclosed pedestrian walkways over the food court/mini mall called Peachtree Centre. Overall, a great experience. The only really inconvenient factor for me was the valet parking that made getting the car in and out a nuisance.”

“I was not able to park my vehicle in the underground parking and was made to drive to a distant hotel to park outdoors. At that hotel I was charged $30 for parking and then I had to walk back to my original hotel. Staff was not accommodating at all and seemed bothered that I was asking for help in parking my vehicle.”

- The staff were very friendly and the food we had was delicious.
- Not enough electrical outlets in the room. Had to dig behind the TV to access one.

- They upgraded us due to a room issue. Service was amazing.
- Nothing to report. Fantastic.

- I've stayed in thousands of hotels. Best value EVER.
- I'm REACHING for something here. An elevator didn't work. Big deal.

Marriott Marquis Atlanta is the BEST VALUE I've ever experienced. Great service, wonderful location, every need under one roof, and all at a great price.”

- Marriott marquis Atlanta was the best hotel experience Ive ever had.
- An elevator didn't arrive after the bell/light notified arrival. Not a big deal.
“The Atlanta Marriott marquis is overall the best value Ive come across in nearly 20 years of business travel, across the globe and having stayed in literally thousands of different hotels. Super staff, great location, comfortable rooms. Its where Marriott ought to send all their staff for customer service training.”
