• Location was downtown with easy access to interstates, attractions and kids colleges.
• Valet parking sometimes got overwhelmed.

• Modern rooms with flat TV.
• Room is extremely small,
  I mean super small.

“I expected for a 4 star hotel to be in a luxury room like Marriott hotel. Room is extremely small, I mean super small, no space to move, no space to iron and no bath tub, no space for your toiletry. In the bathroom is a pedestal sink and a toilet and a shower and hardly any space to move. Bathroom is 20 square feet including shower, toilet, pedestal sink.”

• Very close to Apparel Mart.
• Stingy with towels and soap. Rooms not very clean.

“The room was not too clean. Linens were not changed for the 6 days. Ashtrays were not emptied twice. Carpet was not vacuumed, even at check in.”

• They gave us a two star room that Priceline advertised as a four star room.

“The Hyatt Downtown Atlanta was a miserable experience, from the smirk desk clerk to the room smaller than a walk in closet. Not only did this room not have an honor bar, it did not have a simple bottle of water.”

• Served my purpose and was convenient.
• Somewhat dated. Bathroom was kind of bad. Glad it was just a one night stay.

“It served my purpose for a one night stay. The first room we checked into had not been cleaned/serviced. Had to carry all of our things back down to the lobby and wait in line again. Did like the option for self check-in at the kiosk.”

• Great location, speedy check-in.
• Off site parking - still expensive, some concerns about room cleanliness.

“We were in town for the U2 concert and lots of other guests appeared to be there for the same event. There was a traffic jam trying to get in the parking lot to check in and the parking garage was full. My husband drove to off-site lot while I checked in. Check-in was efficient and easy, though there were several people checking in at the same time. Our overall room appearance was quite nice and updated, though as the stay went on, I had some concerns about the thoroughness of the cleaning.”

• Upon arrival the hotel appeared to be busy with college age kids. They upgraded us I believe so that we would be away from these groups.

“We booked a room here last year through Priceline. It is a great location for us because we do this when Georgia Tech plays home games. We can enjoy our Friday night and then walk to the stadium on Saturday.”

• The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient.
• Breakfast was a bit pricey, but we had a good deal on the room so it didn't matter.

“Exceptional service and warm friendly staff. For three women traveling alone it felt very secure. We were there on a weekend and traffic was not bad. I expect it would be more difficult to navigate during the week.”

• Quiet.
• The rooms and bathrooms especially were small.

“Overall a great hotel. Stayed for 8 nights. Not enough storage of clothes for 2 people. 3 half sized drawers like desk, not dresser. Cleaning staff refreshed the room but didn't really clean. There was mold on the shower curtain. Bathroom biggest complaint was so small that you could not sit and close the door. The distance from the toilet to the door was so close that in order to even close the door you had to walk around to the side of the toilet before closing. Not designed for 2 travelers.”

• I like the convenience of the hotel to all of Atlanta's attractions and the very helpful staff.

“Our stay at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta was a wonderful experience that we will always remember. The balcony in our room is what the kids was most excited about. They really enjoyed the night time view.”

• The studio rooms are very nice and cozy.
• The studio rooms are also VERY small and the bathroom only has a sliding door.

“When staying at this hotel, it is important to know if you are in the new all-studio suite tower or the International tower because it will greatly affect room size and quality. The studio (Meridian, I believe) Tower has nicer but smaller rooms, and the International Tower has more traditional rooms but they are not as new/updated.”

• It was very clean and staff was very professional.

“My family and I really enjoyed our stay but what I didn't like was the $27 a night parking fee. There are no other places to park so you are strong armed into paying for parking.I drop my car off at the main lobby but then I have to go down stairs to get my car (and wait) all for $27.”

• The attrium was impressive.
• Nickel and dimed.

“Nice hotel, the room was a little tired, tiny bath. Charged $25 for a fridge, $27/night parking, Internet not included. No microwave. Coffee maker was individual cup type (not the good kind).”

• Very grand and exquisite.
• Rooms were very small, not friendly, pay for everything.

“The hotel was very beautiful when you walk in. The rooms are pretty but very small. Bed was supposed to be a queen but definitely was not. Hotel staff was unfriendly. Had to pay for parking and internet. I feel if you are paying to stay at the hotel you should be able to park for free. It's not like you are going to walk to the hotel from home!”

• The newly renovated room and the excellent bed.
• Drawer was broken in room and bath room floor was not clean. Found long ladies hairs.

“Nice business hotel in downtown Atlanta. Old style Hyatt but in the International Tower renovations have been completed. The rooms in the Radius tower would rather accommodate one person than two. The breakfast was moderate and not up to regular Hyatt standards. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would like to stay here again.”

• The staff was extreme accommodating.
• Not idea for families with young children.

“As always, the Hyatt features wonderful rooms and a friendly staff. The location in downtown Atlanta was close to most of the attractions we wanted to see. Priceline put the stay within our budget. The only negative is that the hotel amenities are expensive (it was Downtown Atlanta, after all) that seem more geared toward the business traveler.”

• Easy access, friendly and helpful staff, close to bars and restaurants.
• Liked everything.

“The Hyatt Regency was a great place to stay. I liked the balcony in my room and I loved that I could walk to places to eat and drink, Phillips Arena, parks and other activity areas. I was traveling with 3 other friends and we felt safe.”

• Convenience to Americas mart and lots of dinner choices close by.
• Parking costs too much at $27/night. Can hear toilets flushing in nearby rooms!

• Excellent view and great service close to all downtown attractions.
• Room was kind of small.

“Overall, hotel was very nice and in an excellent location. The service may have been the best that I gave ever experienced. The only negative was that the rooms were kind of small in the atrium tower and they only had queen size beds. If I were to go back I would request staying in the main tower if the hotel where I think the rooms may be bigger.”

• It was very conveniently located, had good restaurant choices, even late night.

• Convenient to shopping restaurants and safe location.
• Hotel very loud 24 hours/day, needs renovations.

“The hotel was very clean and the staff efficient. However, the noise level in the hotel was always quite high. We stayed on the 5th floor but could hear noise from the lobby all night. This hotel could not have been in a better location for us. We were able to walk or use public transportation for everything we did in town. I was disappointed in the hotel room itself, as the bathroom was very small and the room appeared somewhat dingy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the constant noise was troublesome.”
