  • It was exactly downtown where I needed it to be.
  • I did not like how the hotel tried to charge for everything.

“The valet parking charged my card over $50.00 and I never valet parked. The pillows on the bed were dirty, and the TV did not work for over 2 hours. We called for maintenance and he knocked once and entered the room while I was in my bath towel. Also the maid took the mat in the tub and my friend almost slipped down and hurt herself. They charge for everything, including the internet. Overall, it was the worst experience in a hotel thus far.”

  • Noisy neighbors, small bathroom and pool was not clean.

“This hotel was in a great location. Lots of dining options for every budget nearby. Within walking distance of most of downtown Atlanta's great attractions. Also quite close to a Marta station if you needed to get around the city without a car. The parking garage was easy to navigate and always had a spot to park. Very helpful front desk employees, everyone we met who worked at the hotel was helpful and concierge recommended some very good spots for us to dine at. The pool was a bit small and smelled of chemicals, and the water was not clear, it had a murky color with a tinge of green to it that was not appealing. We thought the room was nice and clean, although the sitting area in our room had a broken piece of furniture in it and it fell over when you sat down. The bathroom was a bit smaller than what I had expected for a hotel of this star level. The bed was very comfortable, and the view of Atlanta out of our hotel window was amazing. I would make sure if staying at this hotel that you go to the observatory up top and make sure you walk around and see all angles of Atlanta from this spectacular location.”

  • The room and bed were heavenly. Great location and many restaurants near by.
  • Parking options were few.

“The location of the hotel is wonderful, close to shopping, transportation and food. I was extremely please with the courteous and kind nature of every staff member I encountered. Since I was staying in for my entire visit, the parking cost was uncomfortable. The view of the city was a welcoming hello for the day and good night for the evening. It's an older hotel but definitely the place to stay.”

“My husband and I enjoyed a short get away at this hotel. The views from the room were nice. The room was not as well kept as I would have hoped, with a leaky faucet on the sink and peeling wallpaper (small spot). Overall we would go again to enjoy the city view.”

  • The location was excellent. MARTA and a decent number of restaurants are nearby.
  • The room needs some renovation, TV is very old and carpet is stained in places. Bathroom is tiny.

“Overall this hotel met my expectations for a four star hotel, but it did not meet my expectations in some areas. Traditionally the reason I prefer four and five star hotels is because I desire a larger bathroom. You could barely turn around in this bathroom, let alone share it with your spouse. In addition, the amenities within the room were sparse. It had a very uncomfortable couch, a wooden again uncomfortable desk chair and an oddly placed TV that in addition to being out in the open was at least 5 to 8 years old. At the same time, the hotel staff was excellent and accommodating.”

  • Love the location, the pool and the rooftop restaurant/lounge. Also has lots of amenities.
  • Stayed there many times but hotel seems to be declining. Walls and carpet in bedroom stained. No hot water for shower on day of departure.

  • Small rooms, dangerous parking garage, no hot water on a Monday.

“The staff was excellent, but the parking was ridiculous, you have to pay $20 a day to park and you have to pay every time you leave (so don't plan on driving anywhere). The hotel entrance is extremely hard to find and get in to. The parking garage is poorly lit, dirty and not safe. Our room was on the 25th floor and very small, to top it off on a Monday morning there was no hot water, I have never stayed in a hotel that didn't have hot water, especially a supposed 4 star. Over all I was not satisfied and I do not recommend the Westin in downtown Atlanta! You should never have to take a cold shower in any hotel.”

  • I liked the room and the view was spectacular.
  • When I got into town I parked in the garage and there was no parking. It took two hours to get my car out and for someone to assist me.

“The hotel is nice. The night staff needs to adjust how they handle situations with their patrons. I have received better customer service at lower star hotels. It is all about how you talk and treat someone which determines whether or not a person will continue their business with someone. Not having enough parking spaces was not the issue - the issue is how they handled it and how they made me feel that they did not care.”

  • It was convenient to our destination, and the glass window wall is neat.
  • It was dirty, outdated, terrible food, and the staff was very unprofessional.

“I would never ever stay here again. Staff was rude, did not provide either wake up call requested nor was our car retrieved from valet when called (which made us late to our meeting), nor did a bellhop come when we called. We finally gave up waiting and hauled our luggage down without help (and needed it). I was scared to leave the room by myself, and I'm a frequent solo traveler. The main attraction, the glass elevator, was broken. Room service food was horrible, and extremely expensive. Front desk, upon check in, was rude. There were 2 on duty, but one was on her cell phone and refused to get off it to attend to the growing line. Just a horrible hotel.”

  • The full glass windows were looking out on downtown Atlanta.
  • There was no parking space for our car--had to park in public parking down the street!

“I find it inexcusable that a high-class hotel does not make sure it has parking spaces for its guests arriving about 7:00 pm. Also, my son and daughter-in-law (who had their own room) needed a bag from their valet-parked car, but after several calls and assurances that it would be brought up immediately, it never came.”

  • I like the central location and loved the view from our hotel room.
  • The water pressure was awful and the bed was very hard.

“Overall a nice place to stay. I had previously stayed at this hotel four years ago. Our bed was hard as a rock. They have installed low pressure shower heads. Ours leaked and have very low pressure. Not sure it should be a four star deluxe unless you consider the view - fantastic. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for someone that was interested in walking to all the downtown sights.”

“I enjoyed the hotel and the location was perfect! I have told all my friends about my experience. I wish they would have provided clean sheets and not just have made the bed. I did have to ask for face towels one day. They brought them after the third call. Other than that, the experience was positive and I'll definitely stay there again.”

  • The view was incredible, fun art in room, decor was modern, lobby and elevators were clean and very luxury.
  • Halls were hot and very dirty, cords hanging down everywhere under the desk, bathroom was very small and the bed was sagging and uncomfortable.

“Hotel was a lot of fun. We love Atlanta and skyline great view from the 57 floor. The halls of the hotel were very hot and not clean. The rooms decor was great but the bathroom was small. The Heavenly shower was that but the bed was not heavenly, old and saggy. I would recommend the hotel but it is old and needs a little face lift in the halls. Great view! Fun locations!”

  • The lobby and lounge areas are too largely in the open, the signs/elevators do not clearly state the front desk/entrances/exits, internet is not free.

“This is a nice, clean hotel. It is very spacious and in downtown. It is confusing lobby is set up so you circle around a lot looking for the exits. I wish the wireless internet would be free. And the hotel blocks the I-phone internet.”

  • The 450 count sheets, comfortable bed and pillows, the spacious bathrooms, the view from the 24th floor, the picture window was wall to wall.
  • It was Saturday night in Atlanta. We were too close to elevator and other guest where parting at 1-2 AM kept us up.

  • It was upscale and had all the amenities of a 4 star but comfortable at the same time.
  • The bathroom needed an exhaust fan and was a little small.
