“I had a problem with a lost article of clothing and on day three of the problem, I spoke to the manager who had an attitude problem about helping me. ultimately, the hotel reimbursed me for the article. I had to make many phone calls to get to resolution.” May 25, 2009 by

“Stay was very comfortable. There was not however enough tables to actuate all of the guest at breakfast.” Sep 26, 2008 by
“This was a very charming brick hotel in an older neighborhood. There were several good restaurants within walking distance, which the hotel staff were happy to direct us to. The hotel staff were extremely plesant and helpful.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Julie from Kathleen, GA
“Loved the staff, food was good, clean room and common areas. Staff upgraded my room from studio to one bedroom. I didn't expect that because at the time I had contacted them they did not have a one bedroom available. nice that they accommodated my needs anyway” Nov 12, 2007 by
Lisa from West Palm Beach, FL
“I had driven to Atlanta from west palm beach Fl. to find out the concert I drove there to see was cancelled, and so when I arrived at the hotel I was distraught and very tired. The hotel and room felt welcoming and comfortable. Everyone I encountered at the hotel was friendly and helpful. As much as I just wanted to be home the service I received there made me feel at ease. I would stay there again.” Oct 24, 2007 by
Renee from Houston, TX
“I didn't report these problems because I felt like we had been given that room on purpose. Other than that, it was a beautifully kept older hotel. They had a first class full breakfast and the staff was very friendly. We paid $15 per night for parking, but in downtown Atlanta, that's not bad. We liked that it was self parking and we could go in and out as many times as we wished.” Sep 26, 2007 by
Randy from Gainesville, FL
“Friendly staff, great location, excellent cleanliness, attractive spacious rooms, incredible view from private balcony, excellent in-room kitchen facilities, and a wonderful breakfast buffet! This was one of my best hotel experiences ever!” Aug 31, 2007 by

“The Residence Inn Midtown Atlanta is an excellent place to stay. It is clean and attractive and set up for just about anything a traveler would need. Full kitchens, wonderful breakfast included desk/work areas in the rooms. Very convenient to the downtown area and Crawford Long and Piedmont Hospitals. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!” Jul 26, 2007 by
Sam from Bristol, VA

“Was disappointed--bugs in bathtub--mites---lights in bathroom burned out---not clean--30 or more people in hallway partying--staff did nothing to fix” May 9, 2007 by

“Older building, with small rooms. They are trying to keep the property up but it's tending a little bit more towards the shabby side than the charming side.” Feb 27, 2007 by
Fenna from Birmingham, AL
“The hotel did not look anything like on the internet. So I was very much unhappy with that. My room didn't have the sofa as shown on the internet.” Aug 22, 2006 by

“Have stayed here before, which is why I returned. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean. The Midtown location is great, only a short walk to restaurants, bars and Piedmont park.” Feb 16, 2006 by

“Wonderful hotel. I was originally supposed to stay at the other Residence Inn nearby but got moved to this one due to plumbing issues at the original one. It was great but I was never informed about the parking fees until I got there. I am working with them to recoup these fees as they told me I would not be charged. Great in every other way. Loved it.” Feb 2, 2006 by

“Overall, good if they fix the hot water problem. Would stay again it was good.” Jan 12, 2006 by
Chad from Birmingham, AL
“I really enjoyed this hotel, normally in Atlanta I end up at hotels with valet parking only and I do not like that at all, so it was nice to be able to self park. Although parking did cost, and wasn't secure at least it was self. The hotel is older but I really did enjoy it.” Jan 3, 2006 by
Brian from New Albany, IN
“For location, you can't beat this hotel. In a historic part of Midtown, both the hip Buck head area and downtown Atlanta are nearby. A full breakfast was served with waffles, eggs, bacon, and good old Southern grits, in addition to the usual Continental muffins, cereal and dough nuts. My room had a mini-kitchen with toaster, microwave and full-sized refrigerator. The French doors lead out to a balcony with a nice view of the ATL. However, if you like a great location and a hotel with some history and character, the Residence Inn Historic Midtown in Atlanta is the choice for you.” Jul 29, 2005 by
Dave from San Jose, CA
“Great hotel in midtown. Great location, rooms, staff... one of the best hotels” Hotel Representatives:
