- Good bed linens.
- Small room, tiny bathroom, a bit worn feeling.
“Had a quick stay here for a Braves game. Checked in around 4 pm on a Saturday. The driveway/valet area was extremely busy. Planned on self parking, but it's apparently not in a lot/garage associated with the hotel, so we valuated for $7 more. Room was tiny bathroom was really small and didn't have a place to hang a hand towel. Room was nicely decorated but felt a bit worn. Glad I wasn't going to be in the room much.”

- Front desk and bell captain, etc., were very helpful.
- Housekeeping needed some help for hotel room.
“All staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Housekeeping needed some guidance. Rooms were clean except for a layer of dust on the entertainment center that was never wiped off. Each day we got fewer towels and washcloths. I had called to make sure we had double beds and was told that we did. When we got there we had a king size and no one knew anything about double beds? Would recommend, but expected more expertise in the housekeeping since it is a very nice hotel.”

- I loved the cleanliness overall and restaurant was wonderful.
- No bathrooms in the bar.
“This hotel was very comfortable, clean and inviting. My husband and I aren't made of money but I did feel like I was living the high life. Our room had a balcony with a great view of downtown. Hotel is also central to several bars/restaurants. We will stay there from now on when visiting the area.”

- The bed & linen was extremely comfortable!
- Vending machines empty & maid service didn't clean the room well.
“I thought the hotel was reasonable for what we paid, however it was the little things that left a bad impression. All of the beverage vending machines being empty forcing us to use room service @ a higher cost for less product & the maid service not throwing all the trash in the room away, along w/ drip marks being on the bathroom door from when we arrived 'til the day we left. Which I personally wiped off one just to see if they could be wiped off. On the up side the bed has to be the most comfortable Ive slept on in a hotel. The comforter & pillows felt like down feather. Very relaxing.”

- The rooms were very nice and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
- The prices in the gift shop were too high, for sodas and candy bars.

“The staff was so friendly. We had been dropped off at the wrong Marriott and the staff at the Renaissance went out of their way to pick us up and make our stay terrific. I have three kids and the staff made them feel very welcome. I requested 2 rooms together and they also made sure this happened for us.”

“Upon arrival to the hotel, the parking attendants were very organized. The employees were all friendly and made sure you were taken care of on the spot. The rooms were extravagant as well as the pool and the 2 restaurants. The images on the Internet does not fully give the ambiance of the hotel. It's a must see to get the real effect of this magnificent hotel. This hotel is should be highly recommended as a 5 star instead of a 3 star. Thank you”

- Had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get to room because of full elevators on check in.

- When I had trouble with my check in, they immediately addressed my concerns and upgraded my room to accommodate my inconvenience.
- The attendant did not give me the type of room I had requested - non-smoking, not near an ice machine/elevator.

“What was most significant was that we were treated well even though we had not paid top dollar for our room. I say this because we have had a negative experience for this reason in the past. I would recommend this hotel at any price. The location is prime for a sight-seeing stay in Atlanta! My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer and see more!”

- Major construction going on starting at 8am-hammering etc.
“Overall I liked the hotel but major renovations starting at 8am ruined my stay. My balcony was used as a storage area for ladders and other tools. At 8am several workers gathered on my balcony to start the days work. They talked and joked as they got ready. It was as if they were standing right inside my room. 8am is 5am my body time since I had just come in from the west coast. Rooms this close to construction areas should not be used as guest rooms.”

- The attentiveness of the employees.
- The food prices were outrageous.
“This was a great hotel for the price. The valet parking and bell hops were awesome. The service here was great. Valet is 18.00 but well worth it. They will bring you your car as often as you like. There are always cabs in front available. The rooms are standard rooms but nice and clean. The only complaint I would have, is the price of the food in the restaurant. - A fee when using Internet in a room, no free shuttle to Aquarium.

- Food.
- Low educated employees.
“When I booked a room they said Internet was available, but didn't mention it was 10 bucks a day. When I got there they told me it was 14 bucks a day to park, but didn't mention that a lower rate of 8 dollars was available for the same parking lot if I just left it there the whole time. When I left they gave me someone else's bill. But the food and location were great.”

- Probably the friendliest staff of any hotel I've ever stayed in, from the valet to food service.
- Only possible thing would be parking fee.
“An extremely pleasant and courteous staff. The hotel was wonderful and within walking distance to Olympic Park and other attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Atlanta.”

- From the bellmen to the lobby staff, everyone was super friendly. Also, my two little girls were treated like queens. THANKS!!
- Hotel balcony had cigar butts.

- It was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were lovely.
- It was cold. The high speed internet was in the lobby only.
“Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel was centrally located. But parking fees were very high. It was explained why though. The hotel staff was superb! Especially Lisa who works on the 2nd shift. She went out of her way to make sure that my stay was as pleasant as possible and that my hotel needs were met. She was very professional with a great personality. The electrician was also very professional and eager to make my stay more comfortable.”
