“Everyone at the hotel was very nice. The pictures online did not reflect what we saw at the hotel. We do not feel this was a 3.5 star hotel and parking was expensive and a very far walk.” Oct 5, 2009 by
Jerry from Highlands Ranch,CO
“This is a great value hotel. Make sure and ask for a renovated room, but keep in mind that where the renovation is complete the next floor above or below may be getting renovated. Only heard noise from 8 to 5 which did not bother me. Worth it for a updated room. Very nice pool area, outdoors but protected from wind and road. Easy to walk to snack bar to drinks and snacks.” Oct 3, 2009 by
Jeff from Greer,SC
“Hotel was under renovation. The hotel is located downtown but mainly on the edge of downtown. They charge $20 a night for parking when you could park for $5 across the street for all day. The hotel wasn't stroller friendly so if you have small children make sure you avoid. I basically feel that I would have had a better experience at a Best Western or Holiday Inn.” Oct 2, 2009 by
Kateia from Simpsonville,SC

“Hotel check in was extremely friendly and hotel was conveniently located.” Aug 9, 2009 by
Hector from Pembroke Pines,FL
“Great for those who don't mind walking slightly off the beaten path but close.” Aug 3, 2009 by
Mark from Jacksonville,FL
“The hotel would rate about a 3.0 at best if everything had gone as planned but the hotel was undergoing a renovation which wasn't complete in the private areas. I had a long day and got to bed late and requested a 10:30 wake up call. The drilling and general construction work started at 6:00 AM and when I called the desk told me they had had many complaints and the workmen would stop but every 20 minutes it started again so finally I just got up and said the heck with it. I should have stayed in a motel 6, at least it might have been quiet. $20 parking fee and I didn't mention to you that I am in confined to a wheelchair so in my opinion they should have at least not charged $28 for valet parking. I will say the staffing on all levels were courteous but this hotel or at least the floors they were still working on should not have been for sale.” Jul 31, 2009 by
Amy from Big Stone Gap,VA
“Beautiful, comfortable and great location. Within walking distance of downtown attractions. In the city but felt very safe. Conceirge were top rate.” Jul 24, 2009 by
Katie from Lynchburg,VA
“This hotel is in a great location however due to the location, we were charged a parking fee of $20 per day. There is a very long walk from the parking garage to the guest rooms. Also, the housekeeping staff did not clean our room on our second day.” Jun 19, 2009 by
Michael from Jonesboro,GA
“Overall very happy with my stay, would recomment hotel to friends and would stay again.” Jun 17, 2009 by
Betty from Westbury,NY
“Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome. Everyone was pleasant and the concierge was very helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Good exercise facility. Only drawback was the pool under repair and when ready was too hot - like a sauna.” Jun 8, 2009 by
Diego from Del Rio,TX
“The restaurant was upscale, but I was disappointed in the execution of the seafood pasta that I ordered and the quality of the fried tofu that my wife had. The appetizer of bisque was quite tasty as was the tower of fried tubers. The service was very good.” May 8, 2009 by
Susan from Tega Cay,SC
“Good service and standard 3.5 star accommodations. I'd stay their again.” Apr 19, 2009 by
Tara from Hokes Bluff,AL “We stayed at your hotel in downtown Atlanta. We had a late check-in and upon arriving to our room we unloaded all of our luggage and got the children settled. One of my children was in a wheelchair. I went in the bathroom and noticed that all the soaps were open, there was two used soaps in the shower with pubic hairs on both. The vanity was nasty and had not been cleaned with used soaps left. The plastic cups were open and used and still on counter. There was bloody band aids and trash in the garbage where it had not been emptied. I have never been so disgusted at a hotel. The Kleenex box was there and empty. The beds were made-up with dirty sheets. So we called front desk and they said they would send someone up to clean. She was wonderful and apologized.” Mar 26, 2009 by
Casey from Winter Park,FL
“Location is good. Service is good. Ridiculous price on parking. Internet is not free. Although they do have a free internet lounge.” Mar 23, 2009 by
David from Rome,GA
“My wife got to the hotel before I did, and the front desk would not let her check-in, even though she had my credit card, the same last name and address. This has never been a problem anywhere else. Concierge said they could intervene but was overruled by front desk. Result was a 90 hassle to check-in, then the room key would not work and thus another trip to see the front desk. Terrible staff, dated hotel, and an unsafe location. Avoid this hotel if possible.” Feb 18, 2009 by
Zara from Martinez,GA
“This is a moderately nice hotel. The room was small and lackluster. The bathroom was tiny. The parking deck is extremely cramped with a very low clearance. It is also very dark and the route back to the hotel is narrow (walkway comes very close to moving vehicles) and dimly lit. The pool area is quite lovely but its an indoor pool.” Feb 18, 2009 by
Janice from Memphis,TN
“It seemed very upscale and it felt safe though downtown. The TV opener was family friendly.” Feb 13, 2009 by
Tommy from Spartanburg,SC
“The hotel is across the street from a homeless shelter. Also you have to pay 18 dollars a day for parking. If I were to travel to the area again I would stay somewhere in Seluta.” Feb 9, 2009 by
Janet from Lookout Mountain,GA
“All in all, the room was very nice. If I was alone in the room, I could tell that someone in the next room was talking, but I could not hear every word he said. The parking garage was a problem, and I think it would be a real hassle if the hotel were close to capacity.” Jan 7, 2009 by
Ruth from Bloomington,IN
“This hotel is definitely dated - the facilities are nice, but not what I would expect for a downtown three star hotel. Parking is also very expensive.” Dec 13, 2008 by

“The self-parking was $18 per day, yet getting luggage from the car to the hotel was a dangerous process of walking down a narrow, steep, curving ramp and then a few stairs (not easy to do with two suitcases). The room was nice! Then, my next stop was the restroom. There, the toilet paper roll was way under the cabinet in a place that I absolutely could not see until I exited the bathroom, stood in the hallway for a better view, and bent way down to peek under the counter. So, after using the toilet, I had to grab the extra roll of paper and hold it like I was in an outhouse. The TV didn't turn on or off easily. When I tried the remote, it turned on and then off immediately. Finally, I held the power button on the set for long, long periods of time. The bed was comfortable and the thermostat easy to control. The black coffee maker was hidden in such a dark recess of the TV cabinet that it was quite difficult to see well enough to pour the water into it. The sandwiches in the deli were wrapped in plastic and looked like they had been sitting all day. Luckily, there was a microwave to use there, so a bit of freshness was restored. The soup was an unappetizing color and didn't taste good, either. Check out was a breeze and the staff were friendly. The concierge was extremely helpful!” Nov 17, 2008 by
Crystal from Powder Springs,GA
“This hotel is horrendous. I will never stay here again. The room service food was terrible - the parking garage is absolutely horrendous and the walk you have to take from the front desk to your room is a marathon. You have to walk past so many meeting rooms just to get to the elevator.” Nov 3, 2008 by
Glady
“Hotel was good - I would stay there again.” Nov 2, 2008 by
Vivian
“Convenient to downtown, quiet, comfortable beds and pillows, decorated nice, friendly staff, we asked for a room with a view, we received a corner room with great view. Could not have been more pleased.

“All the staff, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a wonderful location for downtown Atlanta. We were in walking distance to everything we wanted to do.” Oct 22, 2008 by

“I have stayed at this hotel several times and find it very convenient to downtown and easy to get to. It always meets my needs and is a very comfortable and clean place to stay while I am visiting Atlanta.” Oct 22, 2008 by

“Awful.” Oct 22, 2008 by

“Overall our stay was very good. We could not take a shower due to no shower curtain and the remote on & off did not work so we had to manually do that which was okay just an inconvenience of getting in and out of bed. Other than that we had a great time.” Oct 9, 2008 by
Louie
“Couldn't have stayed anywhere better for the proce and location. Had a great stay and felt very comfortable.” Oct 2, 2008 by

“The hotel was very nice: newly renovated, comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ran into the hotel manager getting off the elevator; we needed directions and not only did he take the time to show us where we needed to go, but he chatted with us and told us to let him know if we needed anything during our stay. The location was very convenient: located near shops, restaurants, highway entrances and the marta station. My only complaint was that parking was very expensive: $18/day for self park and $24/day for valet, and there no cheaper lots around to park.” Sep 18, 2008 by
Denise
“Great location and friendly staff.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Mauro from Monroe, NC
“Overall, we enjoyed our stay and accommodations.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Melissa from Kansas City, MO
“A nice place to stay, with a very kind and friendly staff who are not easily shaken by the weirdness and chaos that are Dragon Con.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Danika from Dallas, GA
“Held a private party/event at the pool/hot tub area until midnight with loud music playing and freaks dancing around for Dragoncon. We called to complain and change rooms and the attendant threw the new room key in our face and left.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Jaime

“The hotel is designed for both family and business travelers alike, with friendly staff.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Linda from Memphis, TN
“All was well after being moved from a noisy poolside room to another room also very noisy due to hallway, need thicker door! Beds were great, all else very comfortable.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Jody from Greensboro, NC
“Everything was fine except the inconvenience of paying for the parking. The auto check-out machine did not work. There were no instructions on what to do. Left my husband very upset because he had to return to the hotel and pay for the parking. The signs for the exits were not clear. When finally exiting the garage, they had a person at the gate, so you could pay. If this had been stated on the other exit, where the auto check-out was, it would have saved us 30 min. of our time and frustration that we experienced.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Donna from Myrtle Beach, SC
“We attended an acting/modeling convention with our five and six year old boys at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and the people at the concierge desk went out of their way to make the stay exceptional for all. The beds were comfortable and the restaurant buffet was superb!” Aug 20, 2008 by
Crystal from White, GA
“The pool area is the best part of this hotel. Beautiful. Location is great. This is true for all hotels. With this said, the bathroom was very small. One person at a time. My friend who is six foot had to bend down to look in the mirror. Funny thing, we looked out the window and our car was parked in front of our room. Outside. Not covered. Some Valet service! Restaurant was nice. We had after dinner drinks there and it was very cozy.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Nancy from Savannah, GA
“Overall, the hotel is nice.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Kyle M. from Raleigh, NC
“For the price, you can't beat the location or the staff.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Nancy from Zephyrhills, FL
“There was no inexpensive place to eat. Cafe had sandwiches (great) but no dinner foods. We had a party of five including 2 children 8-10 yrs. They loved the pool.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Sam from Hagerstown, MD
“The room was nice and I had a good view of the roof of the pool. (Not of the pool, just the roof over it). Had to pay 18.00 a day to park. Next time I'll stay an hour or so outside of Atlanta and drive to the aquarium.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Mandy from Kathleen, GA
“We thought it would be a little nicer. It was nice but you could tell it was old. Our room was very small but it was fine for us. We were satisfied with it for the price. We were also unaware there were the added parking fees. It was convenient to everything, but I don't know about it being in the best part of town. We did feel safe in our room, I just don't know that I would walk around anywhere downtown at night. Overall, it was a good experience.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Noel from Saraland, AL
“The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was efficient. The location is very easily accessible to many destinations in downtown Atlanta. It is a good location for adults, but I would not recommend it for children since it requires walking the high traffic downtown areas.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Steve from Newnan, GA
“Nice hotel for business. Public areas very nice. My room was clean but the lamps were a little dirty. WIFI on my floor was bad. Could barely connect.”
