- Did not like having to pay to park.
“I was really not pleased with the hotel. I did not like having to pay to park. The staff was somewhat friendly, I would not consider this hotel as a 3 star. This hotel was in an old building in Atlanta the upgrades that were made were just OK. For the hotel to carry the Marriott name, I was expecting much more. If I had to choose, I would not return.”

- The valet and front desk clerks were friendly, fast and efficient.
- I was not pleased with the additional cost of 28.00 parking per day.
“Hotel is clean and our room was quaint, quiet and clean. We had nice view of Andrew Young square. The bed was very comfortable with soft linens. I would stay there again.”

- Parking was expensive and slow.
“Good location for those wanting to visit CNN, World of Coca Cola etc as they are within easy walking distance. The worst thing about the hotel was the valet parking. It was expensive and one several occasions we had to wait 15-20 minutes for a car.”

- The rooms are tastefully decorated and I love the bedding in Marriots.
- The room service beer selection was pretty crappy.

- Accomodations and
atmosphere.
- Odd odor in the hall way to the room.
“My younger son (13 years old) and I stayed at the Marriott overnight in order to be on-time to the football game. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the city so its close to everything. I found the stay very welcoming. The room was very clean and tidy. The staff I dealt with was very friendly and professional. Everything was comfortable and highly recommended. Cons: The hotel provide valet parking for $25 per night which is expensive (in my opinion). But on the same token, I found it difficult to find any safe appealing parking. Also, on the 5th floor (where I stayed), when we first went up to our room there was a strange, and unpleasant odor.”

- Quiet, exceptionally clean and entire staff makes sure your stay is pleasant.
- No complaints.
“Hotel great location for attending market and other downtown attractions. I try to stay there every time I have to travel to downtown area. I never had any problems when they were a Wyndham hotel or Marriott.”

- Easy check in and out, reasonably priced restaurant, good gym.
- Noisy HVAC.

- Very clean and well furnished.
- Valet parking. Expensive. Had to wait 10 minutes for our car the morning we left.

- clean
- no place to heat your food in the room some people do not like to go out for every meal
“the room was very clean the only problem i had with the staff my room was not clean the next day after i ask for it to be clean and it would be nice if some of the smoking and no-smoking rooms had a small mac-oven in them that way if you did not want to leave your room like me you could still have a hot meal”

- Good location and accomodations for the price.
- Room was not cleaned despite several requests and hang tag on door
“Check-in was easy and swift. People were friendly. Not a big fan of outrageous parking fees for hotel guests, but that's me. My room was not cleaned by 5pm one afternoon, so I stopped by the desk to request housekeeping and was assured they would send someone up. No one ever showed up. ”

- On the surface, it appears clean and modern.
- Hotel was very noisy all night. Hotel shower did not function nor did the TV remote control.
“The hotel is obviously not concerned with the quality of guests that it allows. The hotel was extremely noisy with young adults yelling, laughing, and partying all night. Music could be heard throughout the hotel for the entire night. The hotel also appears to be upscale and efficient, but in fact, although decorated beautifully, the shower did not even function. I reported the problem to the front desk where the personnel seemed uninterested. The TV remote control as well as the "fast check -out" service did not function properly, either.”

- the staff was very friendly and helpful
- more basic cable channels should be available like Cartoon Network for kids
“I was disappointed that not even a small compensation was offered for the lack of hot water one morning. It was a huge inconvenience. That aside, the bed was wonderful to sleep on and the towels were nice and soft.”

- The helpful, friendly staff
- No towels at the pool, had to request more and couldn't park at the hotel garage due to having a truck.
“The entrance way was nice. Good size exercise room. Outdoor pool was nice, just out of towels and cold. Convient location across from Olympic Park. Gentleman always opened doors. We had a truck so we were considered an oversized vehicle, therefore we had to park in a public lot, which I didn't like. It cost to park in the public lot, but not at the hotel.”

- $18 to park. This is the drawback of a great hotel.

- Location was convenient!
- Front desk staff was not the friendliest and assumed everyone has stayed before didn't give good information.
“The hotel was beautiful and very clean. I would recommend it to friends. I do think the staff could have been a little more helpful. They spoke very little and didn't give any instructions. I had to call to get the checkout time and make 3 trips to the desk when the key to my room consistently didn't work. I had to ask where to park becasue she never informed me that there was mandatory valet (until I asked) In other words I had to ask a million questions to get answers.”

- It was close to my conference
- Room was not clean, service very slow
“The trash cans were not emptied and there was somebody else's razor in the shower, so that tells you how well the rooms are cleaned. Also, the service in the restaurant was extremely slow - I had to get up and ask for a waiter after a 15 minute wait. The location was convenient, but that's about the best I can say about it.”
