“The staff is awesome. Its clean, the food is great.” Nov 5, 2009 by
Carolyn from Al,AL
“We had a great time there. It was relatively easy to find, but navigating through the downtown road construction was a nightmare. They need a better sign pointing to where to pull up to the door; I banged one of my tires trying to get on the lot. Rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. Staff bent over backwards to help us in any way they could. I'd stay there again.” Oct 14, 2009 by
Brenda from Pensacola,FL
“This hotel was nice just make sure you get a room far away from the elevator.” Sep 30, 2009 by
Erica from Memphis,TN
“Nice hotel. I really enjoyed staying there. The staff was friendly. I will definitely go back.” Sep 11, 2009 by
John from Phenix City,AL
“Great service, great location.” Sep 3, 2009 by
Sherry from Oxford,MS
“On my next visit to Atlanta, I plan on staying at this Holiday Inn again. The environment was family friendly. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions and we were always greeted with a smile! Our room was ready and clean. The kids were happy with the room because it had a video game already hooked up to the TV! I was able to keep up with work and Facebook with the wireless internet service! Overall I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with young kids or just in Atlanta for a good time!” Aug 26, 2009 by
tahsha from Oklahoma,OK
“The hotel did not provide the accomadations the website for Holiday Inn advertised. Like micorwaves and mini fridges were suppose to be available in the room unless it was a suite.” Aug 18, 2009 by
Sherry from Leicester,NC
“Great service from all the staff.” Aug 10, 2009 by
Chad from Ellenwood,GA
“This hotel was excellent as far as location. I did like the staff, they were very attentive and pleasant to me, never had any complaints.” Aug 7, 2009 by
Karen from Locust Grove,GA
“No free parking, Pay TV, charge for local calls, even at the 6th floor high level outside noise. It may have had 4 star rooms but ours was a 2 at best.” Jul 27, 2009 by
Ray from Santa Rosa Beach,FL
“Convenient to downtown, friendly staff and clean.” Jul 24, 2009 by
Bryan from Pascagoula,MS
“Good Location to park and CNN center. Small rooms with small beds, stay out of resturant because the stafff could care less.” Jul 9, 2009 by
georgia girl
“Absolutely rude customer service, from the moment we walked in. We arrived about 10-15 minutes before check-in to be told by the front desk person that our room would not be available at 3. She looked at the computer with this dumb look like she didnt know what she was doing. Once we finally got in the room, being the observant person that I am, I look on the bed and find stains on the sheets, so I immediately go out to the hallway to look for a housekeeping staff who says it wasnt one of the rooms she cleaned, instead of just cleaning she waited about 10 minutes. Next, throughout the stay we noticed that the doors have a loud slamming noise every time your neighbor leaves their room. Finally, the highlight of the entire stay here was the surprise $20 a day fee no one told us at check in would be a part of our stay, so we found out about it at check two days later (that is their way of getting more money out of their guest). I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!” Jun 23, 2009 by
Danny from Knoxville,TN
“This is a convenient hotel for the World Congress Center and dome. When I bid $50 I'd rather have a 2.5 star with free parking than a 3 star with $20 parking!” Jun 16, 2009 by
John from Sumner,MS
“The hotel was great for the price. Less than half of what I would've paid to stay at the hotel where my conference was being held. The staff was very friendly and helpful - the room was comfortable. It's not the Ritz, but just a few blocks away.” May 15, 2009 by
Carlton from Fairburn,GA
“This hotel was excellent and extremely comfortable.” May 3, 2009 by
from Bessemer,AL
“Over all the hotel and staff were great. Few flaws but they were out numbered by the everything that was well.” Apr 16, 2009 by
Ted from Drexel Hill,PA
“Holiday Inn's location could hardly be handier. It was extremely clean and well-maintained. I'd have liked a refrigerator in-room, but otherwise my every expectation was met. The Priceline was a wonderful value.” Apr 16, 2009 by
Andrea
“Staff was horrible. Management has no regard for customer care. Air conditioning and elevators were both broken.” Apr 15, 2009 by
Pamela from Stone Mountain,GA “I was not satisfied with their nonchalant attitude when I complained about receiving a non handicap room after I asked for it more than once.” Apr 1, 2009 by
Ron from High Point,NC
“If for business without a car, the hotel is fine. For my use this trip, it was not a good experience.” Feb 19, 2009 by
Jan from Trussville,AL
“I stayed the prior night at another hotel in the city, and could not wait to get to this one.” Feb 19, 2009 by
Taryn from Detroit,MI

Yurong from Augusta,GA

“The hotel was lovely, great location, parking cost almost as much as staying there.” Jan 27, 2009 by
Bill from Chattanooga,TN
“Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Would stay here again.” Nov 15, 2008 by
Pat from Columbus,OH
“Very convenient location for the Georgia World Congress where I was going. Clean common areas. $20 per night valet fee. Business area with two computers with internet access. Staff was all extraordinarily friendly, saying hello and how is your day without fail. Would recommend.

“Not bad. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were better than expected.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Cara from Tallahassee, FL
“The only complaint is that the room had a strong odor - offensive really. After being in the room a while and spraying perfume it became tolerable. Not sure what it was from though.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Erica from Dothan, AL
“This hotel has great location for downtown events. The room/beds/hotel staff were all very nice. The small downside was parking, paid parking, valet only. Otherwise, would recommend to other traveler and probably stay again.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Cristy W. from Del Rio, TN
“Upon arrival the hotel was nice and the valet staff was friendly and entertaining. The young man at the desk was nice, but we had some miscommunication upon the needs of the room. What bothered me about this hotel experience was on Saturday after we returned to the hotel from our convention our hotel room door was ajar and my friend had little over $100 missing from her wallet. The beds were made and the towels were fresh. The laptop computers we left were still in the room, luckily! The front desk was contacted and a report was filed. We were told we'd be taken care of. We elected to keep the 'Do not disturb' tag on our door and call to cancel maid service the next 2 days we were there. We had to call down for towels because we didn't want them back in our room, for obvious reasons. Upon checkout, Monday afternoon, I was asked if I wished to leave the $60 parking fees on my VISA card, I then inquired with the front desk about the situation, from Saturday since we'd heard nothing back if they would comp the parking to compensate partially for the missing $100. The young lady stepped into the back office and then out again to ask me what day it had happened on, I explained it was Saturday. She returned to tell me there was an inquiry into the system and that it had been one of our card keys to last open the door. This was impossible since we were about 3 blocks away at DragonCon all day. I've stayed countless times in countless hotels and have never left my door open. Due to my obsessive compulsive disorder I check every time I leave. Also, the door was weighted and would have had to been eased shut to be ajar as it was. Not only that, how would we have made our beds and put fresh towels in the room? We don't have access to hotel supplies. Actually one of the friends who were with me has.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Jerry from Trussville, AL
“The only complaint is the noise from the elevator. Both inside and outside the elevator it sounded like it was about to die.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Amanda from Savannah, GA
“Good stay - close to everything - staff was nice - room was nice - valet was too expensive.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Donna from Bon Aqua, TN
“There are only two positives I have to say about this hotel. The second room moved to was clean. The aesthetics of the lobby and bar were good. I was very disappointed by this hotel. The first room was not made, trash everywhere nothing had been done to it since last guest. The second room had several problems, TV remote did not work, hairdryer did not work, air conditioner quit, TV came on by itself in the middle of the night, alarm did not work, the second remote was very difficult to use. Very disappointing for the price of this hotel.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Brenda from Memphis, TN
“Good, not great. Newly remodeled rooms but with details left unfinished such as outlets with no plates. Lobby/registration area under construction. Could have been cleaner, crumbs on the carpets in the hallway. I was disappointed that the pool closed at 9:00 PM after I drove all day with two 11 year old boys who needed to let off steam before bedtime. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location for aquarium, Coca-Cola museum, Hard Rock Cafe.” Aug 8, 2008 by
Chuck from Atlanta, GA
“Under construction, very rude staff, no towels in room, very noisy and no one cared.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Aliesa from Albany, GA
“Rooms were tiny, but very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Thin walls and lots of traffic noise. But the best and friendliest staff I have seen at any hotel in a very long time!” Jul 30, 2008 by
Odell from Montgomery, AL
“They told me initially that they didn't have room, so they gave me an option of 1-queen with a roll-away bed. After discussing this with the hotel manager they gave me the 2-queen bed room.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Lori from Knoxville, TN
“This was 2 blocks from Peachtree & Marta which allows you to get anywhere you want, we went to a Braves game and even though we had a parking pass we took this route. TRAFFIC is horrific Downtown right now so plan ahead!” Jul 23, 2008 by
Margaret from Claremont, NC
“A great hotel in an excellent location. Would highly recommend.” Jul 9, 2008 by
Rory from Hiram, GA
“Again the staff was excellent. The hotel was going through some renovations so some construction was unsightly and inconvenient. Again, our room was not ready at check in and this was a big problem for us.” Jul 7, 2008 by
John from Webb, AL
“Very pleased with our stay. Valet parking was somewhat expensive especially when we tipped the parkers each time we wanted to use our car, but otherwise we were quite satisfied with the hotel.” Jun 7, 2008 by
Millie from Folsom, CA
“They are completing renovation, but I wasn't impacted. Room was great, comfy bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful and made recommendations about surrounding areas of interest. Great downtown location; easy walk to see sites, especially Centennial Park. I would recommend! This was rated 2.5 stars. I would have given it a 3. I stayed in a 3 hotel the niter before in Savannah and this was a higher quality room.” Jun 5, 2008 by
Latrece from Shorter, AL
“We order room service they took our food and gave it to the next room, comp our meal and told us breakfast was on them , the waiter did not want to believe went to the front desk and was suppose to talk to management, but did not. I had to fix it myself.” May 7, 2008 by
Josh from Stockbridge, GA
“Parking was not included~ $20/night.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Miychel W. from Hope Mills, NC
“Both the hotel and the staff were very nice and overall we enjoyed our trip very much. The lack of available parking was the only detractor from the entire trip. Valet parking was available for a cost of eighteen dollars for overnight parking. My wife has already asked when we could return.” Apr 24, 2008 by
Derrick E. from Austin, TX
“Don't do what everyone else in Atlanta does and charge for parking; such a turnoff! Hotels in Texas do not charge guests to park. I am considering staying at a hotel not in Downtown/Midtown Atlanta because of that!” Apr 11, 2008 by
Henry from Cameron, NC
“The hotel was clean, had a good sleep bed. Did not like the forced valet service for 18 bucks. Location is good in downtown.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Reggie from Tuscaloosa, AL
“Located in the heart of Atlanta-too congestive. Parking was too expensive. Construction and remodeling was taking place. The staff was not very helpful and friendly. However, enjoyed the free wireless internet service in the room.” Mar 13, 2008 by
Michael from Marysville, OH
“The staff was rude and didn't even have a room for me when I checked in. I called over 2 wks. prior for a smoking room and was put in a NS room, If I smoked in it they would charge me $100.”
