Cassandra from Edmond,OK “the overall stay was disappointing. We got there early so couldn't check in but told us a room with two beds and a balcony would be "assigned" to us. When we returned 12 hours later, the room had not been assigned. The next day, after returning to our room, it had not been made up. Called down to get coffee & shampoo, but they didn't end up coming to the room. So I went to the front counter to ask. Overall, I would not want to stay there again. Not a good, relaxing experience.” Sep 17, 2009 by
Pierrette from Charlotte,NC
“Good brand, good product, good service.” Jul 8, 2009 by
Nick from Durham,NC
“Great location in Midtown Atlanta. Safe, well-lit parking lot. Clean, actively used lobby space.” Jun 8, 2009 by
Brian from Coon Valley, WI
“Exit and bridge to hotel was closed, took over 30 minutes to get to hotel that we could see.” May 18, 2009 by
John from Frederick,MD
“Fine place to stay.” May 7, 2009 by
Rob from Brampton,Canada
“Close to the Interstate, the room was very quiet. On the negative side, the decor was dated, the mattress needs updating to the new super Marriott bed, and when I showed a particularly disgustingly stained drinking glass - which was wrapped in the Sanitized paper - to the Operations Manager upon check out, he was incredibly blase about it. Money well wasted here. Avoid if you can.” Apr 22, 2009 by
Mike from Spring Hill,TN
“Very nice hotel in a bad location. It was difficult to get in and out of this hotel due to the massive road construction project on two sides of the hotel. When the construction is over (if ever, we are talking about Atlanta here), there would be no reason not to choose this hotel if staying in downtown Atlanta. The one disappointment of this hotel is that there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Most hotels of this class provide those standard.” Apr 2, 2009 by
Media from Ellijay,GA
“We were very happy with this hotel. There was even a wedding party there during our stay. We would go back and plan to in the future. Very convenient to everything in the city.” Mar 4, 2009 by
Fred from Tyler,TX
“Moderate hotel that is conveniently located near Atlantic Mall, short walk to MARTA train station. No restaurant except for breakfast and no luxuries I expect from business class hotels. Clean, safe place to sleep right off of the interstate highway, but not much else to recommend this place.” Feb 4, 2009 by
Clara from Chattanooga,TN
“It suited my purposes perfectly and was very comfortable and conveniently located to all the places I wanted to go. I would definitely stay there again.” Feb 4, 2009 by
Karen from Winston-Salem,NC
“This hotel was very clean and easy access on and off the interstate. Also very close to Ga. Tech. I just wish it would have had a free breakfast for the kids. It was not very kid friendly with no indoor pool for the winter.” Jan 22, 2009 by
Daniel from Gulfport,MS
“Hotel was clean and typical. Road construction made it difficult and confusing to get to hotel. Front desk staff was not rude or courteous.” Jan 9, 2009 by
Dom from Augusta,GA
“It was good a clean though construction made entering and exiting a bit of a hairy experience.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Jason from Baton Rouge, LA
“Overall, the hotel was a great buy. The location places you at an interstate fork that can easily place you at opposite ends of Atlanta in minutes. It is also located in Midtown. The staff was helpful, suggestive and polite. The next time I'm in Atlanta I'm sure to stay there.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Brad from Atlanta, GA
“I have stayed here many times and I love it each and every time the staff is friendly. The food is great and the rooms are very comfortable. I just wish they would can the one staff member if he was not there every time my stay would be perfect.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Tom from Hazard, KY

“Not very friendly welcome, room not clean (bathroom), same sheets for the three nights, poor breakfast and high price.” May 29, 2008 by
Toccarra from Louisville, KY
“The hotel was decorated very nicely and provided nice free activities (i.e. internet). The buffet was expensive considering the average hotel has a continental breakfast that's included with the price of the room. This hotel didn't operate that way. Our room didn't have a refrigerator. If the room had a refrigerator, the room would have met all of our expectations. The refrigerator could be located under the coffee pot area (just a suggestion). The staff could have better since of directions; know more about the area; be willing to provide information when asked or better yet, volunteer information.” May 28, 2008 by
Frank from Tuscaloosa, AL
“Good stay for the money. I love the fact that parking is free.” May 22, 2008 by
Suzanne from Spooner, WI
“Very polite staff. Clean rooms, would stay there again.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Jo from Norwood, NC
“Our overall stay was great. There is road construction going on at this time, which made getting into and out of the hotel interesting. The only other complaint was the smoke alarm had a constant flashing white light that was annoying when trying to go to sleep. It was not noticeable in the daytime. Service was acceptable, as was the room in general.” Apr 14, 2008 by
Cp from Kennesaw, GA
“The amenities are excellent! The hotel room is layer out great. The desk and the internet were access was perfect for working. The business center was accessible 24 hrs and it was free to print and fax items. Hotel room was bright, the lighting was great. Gave you a lot of energy to get work done! I would recommend this location of every business person! I was very pleased!” Apr 9, 2008 by
Cassie from Eclectic, AL

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful (which are hard qualities to find being a young traveler). This hotel is in a great location and proximity to most of Atlanta. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.” Mar 7, 2008 by
Trina from Germantown, TN
“The location of this hotel is excellent for business travel but there is road construction going on which makes getting to it a little difficult. It is clean with friendly service.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Jason from Vestavia Hills, AL
“This hotel is either new or newly revamped with plush carpeting, updated fixtures and upscale appointments all in the heart of Atlanta. It's conveniently located off of I-75/I-85 and near the new Atlantic Station shopping district (Ikea, Target, Publix, movies, restaurants, etc). Very friendly staff who greet customers with a smile. Either side of hotel will provide great views of Atlanta's ever-expanding skyline.” Feb 28, 2008 by
Laura from Murfreesboro, TN
“This hotel was great for our one night stay. We slept and got up the next day to shop. It was in a great location. Only minutes away from Ikea.” Feb 26, 2008 by

“Won't recommend.” Feb 24, 2008 by
Matt from Griffin, GA
“We had an excellent stay at this wonderful hotel which is located at the crossroads of 14th St and i-75 access. Hotel had a beautiful pool (outside) and whirlpool (inside). My family and I enjoyed the whirlpool during our stay. The front desk was very helpful at every turn. Best experience in a long time. We will definitely stay there again.” Feb 24, 2008 by
Paul from Washington, DC
“Loved free internet access in the guest hotel rooms; Free use of computers and printers in the lobby for all guests. Free parking.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Georgina from Asheville, NC
“Right on I-85 with views of downtown Atlanta. Hotel was clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and smelled nice.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Jennifer from Cranford, NJ
“If you need access to the midtown/Downtown area and won't be spending much time in the room this is perfect.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Teresa from Columbia, SC
“There is construction in the area and was a little hard to find with the detour signs. But after we found it, it was all worth driving around looking for it.” Feb 20, 2008 by
Jamila. from Lithonia, GA
“The rooms where every small and tight, if you open the door to hang your clothes then you blocked the entrance to the exit door. Everything in the room was old and felt gross. There was not enough towels and where was the shower cap that should be in the room? At 9:00 a.m. the cleaning people start knocking on the door to get us out to clean. What ever happen to 12:00 check out? The coffee maker was broke and I feel I wasted my weekend, time and money.” Feb 20, 2008 by
Lakesha from Columbus, OH
“The hotel was an okay place to stay. I was very disatisfied when I got settled in and noticed that the tub had pubic hair in it. I was moved to 2 additional rooms before getting a clean bathroom. The hotel is a smoke free facility. It has a laundry facility which was good. All of the staff was pleasant expect the night supervisor who didn't seem to care that the bathrooms were nasty. A lady worker was nice and slipped my family 4 coupons to their morning breakfast buffet which we all really appreciated. The free computer access, printer and free wireless access was very nice to have. There was an outdoor pool but it was too cold to swim but my 6 year old appreciated the indoor hot tub that was 3.5 ft deep and I appreciated the fact that it was not too big. If you take away the experience that I had with the tubs my overall experience was fine. I liked that it was in midtown which is litarlly only 5 mins from downtown. We were able to experience Atlanta but were not in the hustle and bustle of the fast city. The photos on the internet of the hotel really don't do the hotel justice. The location is only 10 mins from the Historic MLK sight, 10 mins Busy B's (an excellent soul food restaurant) and about 20 mins from the Lenox Mall. Our cheer team stayed at the Hyatt which was a downtown and we were able to get to the Hyatt in 5-7 mins depending on traffic. The great thing about the hotel is that parking was free. The breakfast buffet was a little pricy and one downfall was that the bar was closed on the weekend which sucked. All of the staff were great except the one person. After the general manager heard of the problem the following day I thought he could have had more concern that his hotel tubs were unclean.” Feb 18, 2008 by
Dan from Houston, TX
“Clean and nice room.” Feb 15, 2008 by
Sonya from Holly Springs, NC
“Overall, I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was my third time and as always, it was a great stay. I am so glad the onsite parking is free. Many other hotels in the Atlanta area that are Downtown and close to Downtown have either paid parking or valet parking, which really doesn't give the guests much of a choice.” Feb 14, 2008 by
Boyd from Highpoint, NC
“Loved the hotel but the location was a little funky overall I was pleased.” Jan 8, 2008 by
Kent from Montgomery, AL
“Great place that provided all the comforts of home while being away from home.” Jan 8, 2008 by
Jeff from Wichita, KS
“Located in mid-town Atlanta. The hotel was close to many bars, restaurants and about 15 minutes from Underground Atlanta, the Coca-Cola tour and the CNN tour. Freeway access was very easy.” Nov 25, 2007 by
Genifer from Bonaire, GA
“This hotel was wonderful. Close to everything we needed and very hospitable. Thanks.” Nov 10, 2007 by
Linda from Wheat Ridge, CO
“Hotel was very nice. Centrally located. We just came off of a cruise and were very disappointed by it. The hotel made the whole trip much happier. The sauna area was nice, our room absolutely first rate. The staff was friendly. What a deal/steal we got for $55.00 per night!” Nov 9, 2007 by
Greg from Tallahassee, FL
“Clean, comfortable hotel, but located off the beaten track in an area where considerable construction is underway. It is not convenient to public transportation or midtown offices.” Oct 6, 2007 by
Myra from Tacoma, WA
“Basically it was clean and in a convenient location. The room was smaller than the last 2 hotels we stayed at.” Sep 22, 2007 by
Brad from NJ
“The short hair black girl that worked on September 21 2007 denied us our pre reserved room due to her own racial and miscommunication issues. I am shocked and disgusted for this company and I am appalled at this behavior. I am now a Hyatt man and my company will no longer use Marriott.” Sep 13, 2007 by
Jean from Leesburg, GA
“Though the motel was very clean and nicely decorated, it was too expensive for what I got. There was not a refrigerator or microwave in room though there was ironing board, coffee maker, and hairdryer. The staff was fairly friendly but I doubt the sincerity. When we asked about walking to Marta and Piedmont Park we got the answer, "Oh, its not far," but I doubt that person ever walked it because it was far and was not an easy walk in 90 degree weather uphill! They had a wonderful breakfast but charged $10 per person. The room was a little small and there was no balcony. It was all really ok, I just feel that they overcharged. If the breakfast had been included I would have been much happier!”
