- The location was great as we did the can tour and walked to world of coke.
- I thought the $25 parking charge was too high.
“The hotel was in a great location, just a short drive from our downtown destination. It was also great to be right at can for the tour and we walked thru the park to see world of coke and did not need to move the car numerous times. Room was attractive, clean and very quiet. I will stay here again on my next visit to Atlanta.”

“The Omni Hotel will be the only hotel we will stay in when needing to be close to Phillips Arena, The World Congress Center, CNN headquarters and downtown. The staff and accommodations were perfect. You pay a little more than some in the area, but it is worth it. Very large but nice.”

- Close to my points of interest.
- No self parking available. $25 dollar a night valet only. Not very convenient.
“Almost half the price of what I heard another person quote for their bill. I do not like the fact that they require you to use their valet parking. Either that or park at a garage down the street and walk back and forth to the hotel. This is the route I took. I paid $10 for the entire weekend, parking down the road and walking back and forth to my destinations. The valet parking for the same days would have cost $50. Most hotels, in my experience, allow free parking. I don't think I will stay at this facility again.”

- Valet parking stinks - long waits for car!
“Overall the hotel was quite nice. The location was excellent - within easy walking distance of major Atlanta area attractions. My one major complaint of the hotel would be the parking. The only option is $25/night valet parking. I don't mind paying the money for the night, but each morning I waited 30-45 minutes to have my car retrieved. I would have rather been able to get my own car and be on my way. The one saving grace was the manager deducted the cost of the parking upon complaint.”

- Our room was beautiful. The restaurant had wonderful food for dinner and breakfast.
- The wait to check out and the waiting and waiting and waiting for the valet where our car was kept.

- I just can't get over paying 25 bucks a night for parking, I know, I am cheap.
“The hotel was great. The hotel would have scored excellent, but the hotel's concierge recommended Hard Rock Cafe, a cliché', as a good restaurant. We had to go to the hotel's bartender and ask for restaurant recommendations. Based on his recommendations, we went to Rays in the City and enjoyed excellent seafood and wine. Overall, our experience at the Omni in Atlanta July 4, 5 was excellent.”

- It was close to Turner Field.
- There was mandatory $25 valet parking, which was not advertised.
“The hotel was OK and had a good little shopping center on the ground floor. The room was nice also. However, they denied us a late check out, the pool and Jacuzzi closed by the time we got back from the baseball game so we didn't get a chance to go to them. I don't like valet parking. It's not because of the money, I just don't like someone else driving my vehicle period. If it had been my vehicle instead of my girlfriend's, I would not have let them take it. They should inform you that there is mandatory valet parking when you make the reservation. I'll skip this hotel next time for sure.”

- Bad neighborhood, didn't feel safe walking at night.
“Great location if you are going to Phillips Arena or CNN Center. Very poor location for any other event. We attended an Atlanta Braves game. On the walk off the Marta back to the hotel at 11pm, we didn't feel safe. If we were to return to Atlanta for anything other than an event at Phillips Arena, we would not choose this hotel.”

- The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding. It made a big difference..
- The carpet in the room was really worn looking and the walls were thin.
“The Omni is a good hotel for business travelers. It is clean and the staff is very professional and friendly. The rooms are nice and the location is great, but the carpet desperately needed replaced. Also, the walls were thin and my neighbor was really noisy one night. A nice addition would be shuttle service to the airport and back. Regardless, I would stay there again. Despite the carpet, the room was very clean. It was also the first hotel that I have ever stayed in that had more than enough hangers in the closet. Two were even satin covered for delicate clothes - those little things count when you are traveling for business. The room had everything a business traveler needed, except for a microwave and refrigerator. The internet was free if you agreed to join their members club (at no cost). It was far nicer than any Hilton or Marriott that I have used for recent trips. If you didn't want to eat at the hotel, there was tons of stuff in the CNN center which is attached. I felt that the extra $$ per night more than made up for itself because I didn't need a cab the entire time I was in Atlanta. I also didn't need to park a car for $25/night.”

“I have stayed here before and usually have a great experience. I expected (after paying $25 for overnight parking) to have easy access to taxi service. Waited 20 minutes for taxi to arrive and management said in so many words that it was not their problem. But, the main problem was the late night front office staff member who was extremely rude when my colleague was having elevator problems. Night manager was also rude.”

- Walls are thin in the new tower.

- The location to the Georgia dome was ideal.
- Parking was way over priced and they do not have a self-park option that is safe.
“The hotel was great. The service was great, the pool was very average but I don't think it is really a family type hotel and didn't expect that.”

- Very good location.
- Check in problems (room already occupied).
“The hotel met most expectations. Check in was a little rough in that we were taken to two different rooms initially that was already occupied. Other than this, room was clean and service was good. Location was very convenient. The restaurant was also very nice. Hotel was very crowded in public areas with conventioneersl.”

- 24hr room service.
- Train runs right behind the hotel at 6 a.m. very loud.
“Great stay for my first time to Atlanta. If I were to go again I would look for something closer to an area with higher foot traffic for shopping and dining.”

- I liked that it had a nice lobby.
- Every single item came with an additional charge! We were scared to use the soap for fear of punishment, and they forced us to valet park!
“A nice hotel from the outside. The room was nice, but not "deluxe." the $6 bottle of Evian on the nightstand was not impressive. The only items that differentiated this hotel from lower-rated hotels Iżve used were the q-tips in the bathroom and the robes in the closet. We didn't use the robes because we were afraid of being charged. If you're looking for convenience of stay, this isn't the place. If you're looking to pay $14 for three subpart pancakes and $10 for wireless internet, choose the omni. For conspicuous consumers only.”

- Location was great. Hotel was in excellent condition.
- Room doors slam too hard. Morning was a cacophony of noise.
“The omni is high end. The only downside was the fact that the room doors slam shut instead of gently close which means you are greeted in the morning to non-stop door slamming.”
