• Everything except valet parking and children running rampant through the halls yelling.
• Valet parking. Dented my car and chipped my paint. Children running around hotel halls yelling. TV in room was small and offered minimal channels.

“I enjoyed everything about my stay at this hotel except the children running around the halls and the valet parking. The TV in the room was old and needed to be upgraded. The TV did not match the rest of the hotel. I did expect the parking and some of the valets and bell boys to be more courteous and professional. Everything was nice until I checked out and got my car back. My car, which I take such delicate care of, was dented and the paint chipped. They were supposed to call me to take care of fixing my car and they have not. I would stay at the hotel again because of location, but would not drive a car I cared about.”

• This hotel was very easy to get to and convenient to local attractions.
• Restraunts closed too early. The valet parking was pretty pricey at 30.00 a night and not really any other parking options.

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was in a great location and it was a beautiful hotel. We also enjoyed looking at all the CNN things.”

• Convenient to all attractions in Atlanta and there was a lot to do in hotel.
• The way the valet parked our car when we left and the room was hot shower was dirty.

“Hotel was convenient to attractions. Room was hot even though the thermostat was in room. The pillows on the bed were not firm at all. The view from the window was beautiful. We had a park view.”

• It was in a wonderful location, comfortable, friendly, clean, and etc.
• I thought the charge for parking was a bit much.

“I would recommend this hotel. It was in a good location. It was beautiful. I did not expect to have to pay $30/night for parking. There should have been space for parking for hotel guests without charge.”

• The view
• Bar in check-in lobby, noisy : old room service trays in hallways.

“The furniture in the rooms was worn out, the beds were very hard and I feel that they tryed to cover this up by putting pillow top mattress covers on the beds. Room service trays were left in the hallways overnight and made the place smell like a diner.”

• Staff was extremely accommodating. Food court and the CNN tour.
• Parking was difficult to locate unless already been there. Room service still came to room even with privacy sign on the door.

• Friendly staff, beautiful decor and proximity to CNN center.
• No microwave or fridge in the room.

“Hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly and accommodating. The proximity to Phillips Areana and the CNN center can't be beat. I would definitely stay here again on future trips to Atlanta.”

• Location.
• Charged $ 30 for parking, no breakfast and thin walls.

“The location was perfect for what we needed but other than that nothing special at all. $ 30 a day for parking, $13.50 for breakfast at their little café, uncomfortable bed and pillows, very thin walls (you could hear every opening and closing of doors), nothing special in the room to distinguish it between a 4 star and a 2 star. Would stay again but only if not driving this time.”

• Nothing.

“From the moment I tried to check in I should have known this was not going to be a good experience. I tried to check in at 2:30pm, told no rooms available until 3:00pm. Went back at 3:00, told no rooms until 5:00pm due to late check-out of football teams. At 4:00, they said it would be no more than 30 minutes to check in. At 5:30pm, they said they would gaurentee 1 hour to check in. Never saw a manager. Poor , poor, poor customer service. Will never stay at an Omni hotel.”

• It was very close to all the events I went to Atlanta to enjoy. (Walking distance)

• Good location for attending concerts at Phillips Arena.
• Rooms are very nice, but very noisy, didn't sleep well.

“The hotel was nice and had lots of conveniences. We went to a concert at Phillips Arena, and it was nice to have restaurants and bars in the hotel. It was nice to walk over to the arena and not have to worry about cabs before and after the concert. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaint we had was the noise level at night, it was hard to sleep. I will stay there again.”

“I have stayed at the Omni at CNN Center several times. Each time it has been consistently clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to the Americas Mart. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Walking distance to GA Dome (Chick-Fil-A Bowl).
• Valet parking at check-out was incredibly pitiful!

“All of the above positive ratings. However, the valet parking situation at check-out was the worst ever. We waited in line for our vehicle for 1hr and 45minutes! No apologies from hotel staff, apparently this occurs every time there is an 'event' in the Downtown Atlanta area. Should be a computerized system in place which would allow guests to stay in their room, lobby, etc, and wait (in comfort) to be notified that their vehicle is available. Rumor in the long wait line was that vehicles were parked all over Downtown, not just in hotel garage. The fee for so called 'valet' parking was $25/night, way too pricey for the service provided.”

• Valet Parking - I had to pay $25 to wait in line for over an hour to get my car!

“I enjoyed my stay very much. Maybe next time, they will figure out that on New Year's Day there's going to be a lot of people trying to leave at the same time. Maybe they will staff the Valet Parking accordingly next time.”

• It was in the perfect location. We went to the peach bowl at the Georgia Dome. I think this is the closest hotel to the dome. It was just perfect!
• We loved everything!

“We were in Atlanta to see the Peach bowl at the Georgia Dome. The hotel was right there. The location is just perfect! We were also a block from the aquarium. Our room had a balcony overlooking Olympic park. Of course the room and hotel was very nice, but the location can not be beat. If you stay here you will not be disappointed!”

• Location and low price. Was clean and nice.
• Too many loud partiers on the hall up until 4:00 a.m. However, it was New Years Eve so I did not complain.

“Great Hotel. Very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Great location for any event in downtown Atlanta. The only negatives were no indoor pool and loud partiers up until late on the hall. It was New Years Eve so I didn't complain.”

• Location was the only upside.
• Smoke came in through the vents.

“Overall, stay at the Westin even if it is less convenient. We had a smoke-free room until cigarette smoke came in through the vents in heavy volume. The valet was a combination joke and disaster. I have seen nicer rooms in a Marriot in the 90's.”

• I loved that we could park our car when we got there and didn't need it until we left! We walked everywhere.
• Too busy for me. I prefer something a little less hectic.

“We thought the hotel was beautiful and enjoyed the location. The staff was all very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the food court downstairs and the CNN tour. The room was nice but we had 4 burnt out light bulbs and one evening the water from the sink was brown. I know it was a busy weekend with New Years, the chik-fil-a bowl and a concert in town but for that type of hotel I felt they should pay more attention to details. Overall the stay was great and we would stay there again. Just not on New Years weekend with kids!”

• Attached to CNN center, close to Georgia Dome.
• Valet parking awful. It took us over an hour to receive our car after checkout.

“I probably would have rated this hotel a 10 all the way if not for my experience with the valet parking. I had to stand in line for 30 minutes to turn in my ticket at the valet desk and then it was at least another 30 minutes of waiting out in the cold before my car arrived. Other than that, great hotel.”

• The hotel rooms are beautiful.
• The hotel management was not organized for a big event.

“We went to this hotel for New Year's Eve and the Peach Bowl. Good hotel. Good housekeeping. Although the hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained - it became clear that the management did not have the situation under control. One would think that since they are located next to the Georgia Dome and Phillips Arena they would realize that this situation was going to happen ahead of time. In the meantime, the coffee shop ran out of pastries, because everyone wanted coffee that morning? We also asked for a non-smoking room and had peopled smoking drinking and laughing in the hallway all night. Someone down the hall apparently complained, but they stopped for a few minutes and went back to what they were doing when security left.”

• Good location to GA Dome.
• Bed was a bit stiff.

“We had plans to attend the CFA Bowl at the GA Dome on New Year's Eve, and this is the closest hotel to the Dome. It is in a great location to the Dome, Phillips Arena, Centennial Park, CNN Building, and the GA World Congress Center. There is a food court at the CNN Building, which is attached to the South Tower (where we stayed), and the Prime Meridian had an excellent breakfast.”

• Gorgeous location and view. Beautiful building.
• Large banging sound that wakes you right up, approximately once every hour, all night long.

“The hotel was beautiful, right in the heart of Downtown Atlanta overlooking the Olympic Park in the CNN Building. I know it was beautiful, because I got woken up every hour with what sounded like a large metal trash can being slammed against my door about every hour, all night long.”

• Comfortable bed and room.
• I did hear reports of roaches from other guests; coffee maker was not in an inconvenient place in room breakfast was lack luster.

“This is a comfortable hotel, fairly convenient to a quiet Marta station, although the lack of activity at the station was a little uncomfortable in the evening for a single woman. The room was comfortable and bathroom amenities were fine. The soaps and shampoos were of good quality. I had breakfast delivered to the room which was a mistake, I would at least have expected the juice to be fresh squeezed for the price I paid and the coffee was awful. My second morning there, I took advantage of the CNN food court and had a much cheaper and satisfying breakfast. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful and checks in and check out were very easy.”

“Hotel was nice enough and the staff was very friendly, but very hard to get to since it's in the middle of the city streets. We had to ask directions several times although we'd mapped it out prior.”

• The location was great as we did the can tour and walked to world of coke.
• I thought the $25 parking charge was too high.

“The hotel was in a great location, just a short drive from our downtown destination. It was also great to be right at can for the tour and we walked thru the park to see world of coke and did not need to move the car numerous times. Room was attractive, clean and very quiet. I will stay here again on my next visit to Atlanta.”

• The room was very roomy and very clean.
• The walls were paper thin. We could hear everything in the next room.

“Everything was great except the fact that because we could hear everything in the next room it was not easy to sleep. I did not expect this for a 4 star hotel.”

• Proximity of hotel was perfect for this particular trip.

“The Omni Hotel will be the only hotel we will stay in when needing to be close to Phillips Arena, The World Congress Center, CNN headquarters and downtown. The staff and accommodations were perfect. You pay a little more than some in the area, but it is worth it. Very large but nice.”

• Close to my points of interest.
• No self parking available. $25 dollar a night valet only. Not very convenient.

“Almost half the price of what I heard another person quote for their bill. I do not like the fact that they require you to use their valet parking. Either that or park at a garage down the street and walk back and forth to the hotel. This is the route I took. I paid $10 for the entire weekend, parking down the road and walking back and forth to my destinations. The valet parking for the same days would have cost $50. Most hotels, in my experience, allow free parking. I don't think I will stay at this facility again.”

“Overall the hotel was quite nice. The location was excellent - within easy walking distance of major Atlanta area attractions. My one major complaint of the hotel would be the parking. The only option is $25/night valet parking. I don't mind paying the money for the night, but each morning I waited 30-45 minutes to have my car retrieved. I would have rather been able to get my own car and be on my way. The one saving grace was the manager deducted the cost of the parking upon complaint.”

• Our room was beautiful. The restaurant had wonderful food for dinner and breakfast.
• The wait to check out and the waiting and waiting and waiting for the valet where our car was kept.

“Very courteous staff, which includes our waitress and waiter. They were all good with people even when we checked out they were kind and quick because they knew we had been in line a long time.”
