• Comfortable bed, quiet location, and a friendly staff.
• Pool has too much chlorine.

“Had some issues - leaky shower, room door stuck sometimes, but for the nightly price that I paid on Priceline and the location to Kings Island, I was very happy.”

• Location.
• Bathroom needs heat lamps and exhaust fans.

“I think that there needs to be a floor for adults only. I find that kids running the hallways and their parents loudly yelling at or for them is not conducive for rest or relaxation. But the room was nice and the bed very comfortable. Air conditioner worked well and we enjoyed our stay.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. We liked the lobby area with the indoor pool visible through windows that surrounded it. The tables and chairs around the pool made it attractive and welcoming...even from the lobby desk area.”

• Friendly staff; convenient location; easy check in and out.
• We had problems with multiple rooms.

“Public areas of this hotel were nice, the staff was friendly, and our kids had a great time at the indoor pool. However, at bedtime we discovered that one of our beds had many (6 - 7) bugs in it. We changed rooms, but loud television from across the hall meant that our kids couldn't have quiet at 10:30 PM. We were finally put in a quiet, bug-free room that reeked of cigarette smoke. We just dealt with it at that point.”

• The location, cleanliness and price. Also, the staff at check in were very accommodating and friendly.
• The rooms were nice and clean however. The hotel lobby and halls really needed to be cleaned and redecorated.

“We were very pleased with the location and condition of our room. Unfortunately, there were hotel guests across the hall from us that kept us awake all night. They were extremely loud, people overflowed the room into the hall right in front of our door and when I opened the door I seen they were drinking so it made me fearful of reporting them. In talking with the desk clerk at checkout she was very sympathetic and wished that I had called. I would like to use that hotel in the future when I am on business in Cinti several days a month by myself because of the location and she told me that they would give me a first floor room and would make sure security was aware that I was traveling solo.”

• The pool and restaurant were convenient.

“Overall, we enjoyed our staff. However, some staffers were very nice (we stayed four nights) and did help greatly with our visit. Overall the hotel and restaurant were very accommodating and comfortable.”

• There is nothing that I can say positive about this hotel. I have seen better Motel 6's rated 1-2 stars.
• The hotel was dirty and had a bad smell. The location was noisy and the star rating was inappropriately high.

“I was very disappointed in this hotel compared to others in which I have stayed in the same area. The hotel was dirty, smelled terrible and is located in a bad area right on 275 so it was very noisy. It seems to be the hotel of choice for the truck drivers.”

• Very good value for the price.
• The smell of the pool area immeidately up on the hotel.

“Rooms were comfortable and clean. Max and Erma’s was attached to the hotel was great. The only complaint we had was the smell of the pool area (musty) when entering the hotel (minor problem.) Otherwise, the hotel was very good.”

• We felt safe, the staff was very nice and the rooms were nice and clean.
• The pool was small.

• An adequate hotel for a business traveler.
• It was not a three star hotel.

“Although clean it fell woefully short of being what my wife and I expected after our trip to Asheville. There we stayed at a three star Crown Plaza and really enjoyed ourselves. This hotel was barely a two star hotel and we were looking for much more. Very disappointed.”

• Exit door on first floor was broke (did not lock), could not check in until after 4 PM.

• It only provided one chair at the desk/table in the room.

“The Holiday Inn Sharonville was a very centrally located hotel. It was warm and comfortable. It also had something for both myself and my daughter to do. The pools were clean and well kept, and the rooms were very nice. We loved the bedding! Thanks!”

• The lady who checked us in was not very friendly.

“The only bad thing about this hotel was the check in process. The lady who checked me in seemed to not be friendly and did not want to accommodate our request for 2 beds in the room. I explained that it was necessary for two beds and she finally made the room assignment.”

• It is convenient, three elevators, and nice overall.
• You could tell the property was getting older since they had patched the wallpaper with strips of peeling vinyl around the elevator doors.

“Overall a nice hotel, convenient to area, if you overlook the peeling strips of vinyl around the elevator doors to patch up the wallpaper. This is a nice place to stay for the price. My wife did not like the indoor pool between the front desk and the restaurant, people all around seemed to stare at whoever was in the pool.”

“The hotel was easily accessible from the highway. The rooms were nice and clean. There are both indoor and outdoor pools. The pools are both small, but well maintained. We would stay at this hotel again.”

• My kids loved the view and it was very easy to find from the freeway.
• We had to wait for three trips to finally get into the elevator and we had sleeping children and luggage in our arms.

“It was very clean and the staff was very nice. There was some kind of convention going on for ministers and something else. The people for these groups seemed to think they needed to be serviced first and cut in line at the check in and during check out in front of me. The staff did not seem to know how to handle this situation both times, but apologized to me, which was nice.”

• The room was very hot when we got inside the first time.

“This is a standard Holiday Inn without a lot of surprises. The Web site basically details what is has on the money. The location is great no matter where you need to go in the Cincinnati area, be it King's Island or Downtown, or to the east or west suburbs. I would recommend this hotel for anyone.”

• I like the two pools.
• The room & bathrooms.

“For this to be a 3 star hotel I was expecting more up to date features they did not have continental breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel was very slow and not very reasonable for families. The pools were nice but the exercise room was out date equipment was old. The rooms the beds were hard and bed spreads were old this hotel is good for one night if you were just coming to sleep and leaving in the morning. The bathroom the paint was chipping in the tub and the sink was cracked If your have a family I would not recommend this hotel.”

• The indoor and outdoor pools were very nice. We also enjoyed the Max & Erma's in the hotel.
• We were put in a smoking room on a smoking floor with 2 very small beds. The staff was not at all helpful.

“The manager of the hotel was rude and completely unhelpful. We were treated like 2nd class citizens. It was very crowded as several large events were happening there. The hotel building is nice and we enjoyed that there was both an indoor and outdoor pool. We also enjoyed the restaurant. However our room was 2 very small beds and was extremely smoky. The entire floor reeked like an ashtray. Our clothes and all of our belongings had to be washed immediately because they were so smoke-filled.”

• Room service took way too long. Elevators not sync took too long to go anywhere.

“There was a hockey in town and the kids were playing outside our door. We reported to the front desk and nothing was done. Also, the gym looked as if no one cleaned it. Then we left our cell phone in the room in which they called to report that they had it.”
