• Very up to date, spacious, nice view, wonderful staff, convenient to airport.
• Paying for parking, even though it was very inexpensive.

“The lodging was most wonderful. It was a nice ending to a not so nice weekend. The room was very spacious, modern, and the front desk staff was the BEST. The balcony view of the airport was great, and once inside the room, i didn't even notice the noise from the planes taking off nor landing. I would definitely try to stay at the Concourse again my next visit in Atlanta.”

• The room was very spacious.
• The staff was supposed to be sending several items up to the room and just never showed up.

“Overall the hotel is very beautiful and clean. It is meant for business travelers which made me feel like I didn't belong. The restaurant took nearly two hours to serve us a salad and a piece of salmon. And then when I broke my tooth on one of the many whole pepper corns in my salad the waitress was very annoyed that I complained. The food was pretty good but very over priced. I would not stay here again.”

• Very convenient to airport.
• Had to pay to park and for use of internet.

“All around great accommodations. I don't understand, however, how low-cost motels can provide free breakfast, free internet access, and free parking while the upscale hotels charge for these things. I feel like I am being nickel and dime when I have to pay to park and use internet services. These charges are not often easy to come-by when researching for accommodations as well.”

• The view of the planes.

“The room was very clean and very upscale. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The view of the planes taking off and landing was nice and surprisingly not very noisy at all.”

• Isolated from other restaurants and hotels.

“Beautiful, spacious hotel with elegant rooms. The only catch is that it is right next to one of the runways. The staff gave me a room on the runway side of the hotel and I should have requested one on the opposite side of the hotel. The cargo carriers woke me up several times when they would gun their engines for takeoff.”

• The room appointments were luxurious, clean and modern.

“Our second stay at this hotel, we were met at check-in with a smile and superior customer service. The room was luxuriously appointed with a most comforatble mattress and dreamy bedding. The flat screen TV, WiFi and desk area were perfect for hi-tech needs. The hotel offered a view of the runway or city. We chose the latter, on this stay, and had a peaceful nights sleep, awaking to a beautiful Autumn day. Access to major roadways and expressways made our arrival and departure very easy. Located near very good restaurants and many things to do and see in Atlanta made this a very convenient location. We look forward to our next stay!”

• The overall appearance of the inside and safety of the hotel was very well.
• I had to switch rooms several times and was not at all compensated for the inconvenience.

“The overall appearance of the hotel is very lovely and the flat screen televisions are top-notch, but this hotel is too pricey to not have sauna-like tubs or hair dryers at the least in every room.”

“So fun to watch the planes come and go. Especially beautiful at night. Bed was very comfortable. Dining prices too steep for us. Did not eat any meals there. Cannot say enough about how kind and friendly the staff in every area was.”

• Very comfortable bed, newly renovated room.
• Restaurant had limited selections.

“I had a room with a balcony which overlooked the airport which was very pretty at night. All staff was very friendly. The only complaint about my stay is the rib eye I had for dinner. Very bland, had to put steak sauce on it to be able to eat it. Other than that, an excellent stay.”

• It is a hotel that pleases my husband as well as my children.
• I can only say that the carpet doesn't really agree with my taste.

“The Renaissance is a very comfortable hotel. It keeps my husband happy because he can watch airplanes take off and land as much as he desires. I can barely hear them from inside our room. They must have a great soundproofing in their outside walls!”

• Extremely comfortable beds, very clean, great exercise area.
• Lobby areas smelled funny, hot in hallways, loud, had to run fan on AC all night to be comfortable.

“Good hotel for business travel or leisure if you need to be close to the airport. This is very close to the airport. If you are taking the Georgia Bar Exam, they do not provide shuttle service to exam site and the noise carries from the bar area to the rooms. Otherwise this is a very clean and comfortable hotel. Perhaps the most comfortable hotel bed I have experienced. Alarm clocks in room do not word but wake up call service was fine. Good overall experience and I was taking the bar exam a very stress inducing experience.”

• The bed was comfortable.
• There should be complimentary wireless, the parking fee was unreasonable, and the food was terrible and overpriced.

“This is not a four star hotel. A four star hotel has complimentary wireless, especially given the proximity to the airport and likely number of business travelers. The food was mediocre at best, and took an incredibly long time to arrive. The parking fee was pretty steep as well. The room itself was fine.”

• This hotel is beautiful and the runway view is amazing.
• The service in the restaurant was very slow and food not great but very pricy.

“I took my grandson and he loved the indoor pool and gym. The airport runway view was amazing but might be noisy for some at night. It bothered my husband. Service is great. Staff was wonderful. My only complaint was the restaurant was very slow. The breakfast bar was $17.00 per person which is outrageous but I had waited so long to get a bagel the day before, I paid it so that I could serve myself. My grandson ordered fish and fries from the kids menu and they were fried really hard.”

• The spa was not working.

“This was better than I expected. It was across the street from the airport but with the door closed to the balcony you could not hear the planes too much. The beds were so soft it was easy to get a good nights sleep. The staff was very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay one of the best.”

• Great view of the Airport, comfy beds, room sound proofing was great.
• The hot tub was closed because of a broken pump, pools were cold but clean.

“Great view of the airport and fun to watch the plans take off and land. The beds are super comfy and have a ton of pillows. WiFi is free in the lobby but charged for if you are in your room (get a room close to the lobby and you can pick up WiFi for free in your room. They have a nice workout room and sauna in the locker rooms (separate saunas for men and women). They have an indoor and outdoor pool (both were a little cold for our stay but clean) and a hot tub (was not working due to a broken pump and closed on our stay). Finding the hotel was a little hard but just look for all the big hotels and it will be the one closest to the runway. There are also restaurants right up the road like McDonalds and Ruby Tuesdays. Parking is not free but $9.00 a day and you get a pass card to go in and out of the parking lot. The hotel was clean and the employees were super nice. It's a 4 star hotel with a great view, I would stay there again.”

• Front Desk very helpful in answering questions related to long-term parking. On duty manager gave a special rate for parking. Very much appreciated.
• Really nothing. I traveled 23 years on business and found this hotel top notch.

“I found the Renaissance Hotel (Concourse) delightful. The location to Atlanta Hartsfield Airport could not be closer. We found staff friendly and professional. The room was clean with very comfortable beds. The shuttle service to the airport is very timely and helpful. This was an excellent hotel and would not hesitate to revisit in the future.”

“The hotel was very clean. The room was comfortable, well decorated, and spacious. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. It is very convenient to everything in Atlanta. If you are an airplane lover, the balcony rooms facing the Atlanta Airport is outstanding. You are almost on the runway, and is awesome for viewing planes. We loved it!”

• Hotel was fairly new but the service was not very good.

“This hotel was fairly new and clean. The front desk staff was not very helpful. We had to ask for our room to be made up the second day and they treated us as if we were the ones in the wrong. There was no crib when we arrived and they told us they would try to find something. They found one but it had no linens for it. Location was to far from everything.”

• The south side is about 300 feet from the Atlanta Airport.

“This is a very fine establishment, with upscale decor and first-class accommodations. The major drawback is the proximity to the Atlanta-Hartsfield Airport; if your room is on the south side, you will hear the air traffic.”
