- The hotel staff was very helpful when we needed directions. They were also very professional and friendly.
- The restaurant was slow with serving your food and refilling drinks. The location was a bit out of the way from the attractions.
“The hotel room was nice for the most part. The hotel in general had a nice decor (with a fire place) and was kept clean and tidy. Staff were always there and ready to answer any questions. I really liked the fact that they have "special needs" adults as some of their employees. That warmed my heart. My complaint for the hotel room is the pillows were small, hard, and uncomfortable.”

- I love staying at this hotel. I have stayed there approximately 3 different times. Want to stay there every time I book a hotel in Atlanta.
“I love staying at this family/friendly hotel. So far, I've been fortunate enough to stay at Holiday Inn Select, College Park, on three different occasions. One other thing, the breakfast is awesome. My 4-year-old son live for breakfast time during our stay.”

- Restaurant closed right when we arrived. Had to order food from Dominos at midnight.
“The rooms were large and relatively clean, but this was definitely not a top quality hotel. The shuttle service to and from the airport was a nightmare due to extraordinarily bad weather in Atlanta and tons of people. The staff did their best despite trying conditions but they really should have kept the restaurant open since so many people were arriving from delayed or cancelled flights with no luggage and no food.”

- We loved the bathroom design; especially the shower and soft towels.
- Directions from off the Interstate. No signs that we could find to tell us whether to turn right or left.
“We were not as happy finding out that we were going to be staying at the Holiday Inn at first. We never imagined a Holiday Inn to be anything other than ordinary. Boy were we shocked the moment we stepped into the room. We loved it! After leaving there, we flew out to San Diego and was staying at the Hilton on Harbor Island and all we could say was. After staying at the Holiday Inn, I think we were a little spoiled by the comfort and decor of the room. The Hilton does not hold a candle to the Holiday Inn Select in Atlanta.”

- I had stayed in it before but it definitely was not the same.
- They let me check in early but then that evening told me I had to pay for another night so I had to book another room.

- I loved the room. It was clean and very comfortable. The newly decorated bathrooms were great.
- I had problems with my key card. Every day we went out and returned, we had to have the key card reactivated
“Upon our arrival I was very pleased. The first appearance of the lobby told me I just might like my room. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and newly remodeled. The space was adequate. The hotel floors were secured, you have to use your card to get to your floor regardless of the time. Parking was free and close to the hotel. The restaurant food was average. Easy freeway access. My husband and I just wanted to getaway and we enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn.”

- The employees were not friendly at all. It took almost 45 minutes to get checked in.
“The lobby was very nice with a fireplace and business center. My room was spacious and clean. The food at the restaurant was mediocre and over priced. The only really complaint that I have is the attitude of the employees. The people at the check in counter were not nice and it took forever to get checked in.”

- The location is great. It is very quiet considering the planes are flying right over the hotel.
- The restaurant was so slow. By the time the food arrived it was cold. Lots better places to eat.
“We enjoyed our stay. The location is great only five minutes from the airport and Marta. It was relatively quiet considering the planes were just over head. We felt safe. The restaurant was very inefficient very slow. I would recommend going somewhere else to eat a Ruby Tuesday is only 2 blocks away.”

- For 2 days, they took away my personal belongings!
“My first impression of the hotel was really great despite I have to wait for quite a lot time for the shuttle bus from airport to the hotel. Then the next day I came back from work, I found my underwear was gone along with my cell phone charger and tooth brush and tooth paste. I called the front desk and they forwarded me to the head of housekeeper's voice mail. The next day, I got my cell phone charger back and the food in the refrigerator was gone--I was very upset because I had told them not to touch anything unless they were in the garbage can--all things were taken not in garbage can! From them on, I had to carry most my personal belonging with me during my stay at Holiday Inn Select. I am really disappointed of their services even though they tried to make it up for me with some food--however, you can stay in a hotel for a business trip and keep wondering what will be gone when I go back to the hotel.”

- Breakfast buffet was disappointing, just the standard old eggs with cold bacon, since it was Sunday the service was slow waited forever for coffee.
“Nice hotel, beds were soft the room was clean and towels fresh. Good location for my trip. Besides the false fire alarms going off 7 times in the early morning hours, it was an acceptable stay. Recommendations update the breakfast menu.”

- Bathroom was efficient, but cramped as far as space - shower only, no tub.

- The bed was very comfortable, front desk staff was very nice and it was very nice having the free airport shuttle.
- The carpet in the room had stains and looked dingy and I didn't like not having a door/curtain on the shower.
“I was very satisfied with the quality of this hotel for the money. The hotel was very clean. Staff was always friendly, other than the restaurant waiters and they didn't have much of a personality. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was "ok" at best. Husband had pancakes and they were served with "Kroger" syrup. It was just odd sitting in a restaurant and having a bottle of "Kroger" syrup brought to your table. Food just wasn't good. Beds were good quality. Our bathroom had a walk in shower which was nice having more room and not having the "bathtub" feel but there was no door or curtain so there was a draft. Wasn't a huge problem and it wouldn't keep me from staying there again. Very close to airport so of course you will have airport noise. - The staff was very accommodating.
- The 'convenience store' left much to be desired.
“Overall it was a good stay. Close to the airport, but not a lot of airport noise. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and willing to help whether they could.”

- Big Room.
- They didn't honor special requests (non-smoking, rooms together).
“Good rooms, excellent price, nice location. Some of the staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our hotel stay and would stay there again, but below are some of the difficulties we had with the hotel. They did not honor special requests that we made - we wanted our 4 rooms together - we requested this 3 months in advance, but they spread us out all over one floor. We also requested non-smoking and they put us in smoking rooms. They were also incompetent as to the amenities in the room.”

- Location.
- Started charging to park and fly and smoking in rooms.
“We have stayed here on previous trips because we liked the fact they did not charge extra to park. That no longer applies as they charged us 5.00 a day extra, also they claimed they were sold out and could only give us a smoking room and we have allergies, that was our biggest complaint. When I asked about switching us, the desk clerk mentioned to us and told us they didn¿t have anything available. Would not want to stay here again due to this.”
