- Small, crowded, and difficult to find pool.
“The lobby was beautiful. The check-in staff and the concierge were both very pleasant and helpful willing to patiently answer any questions. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Room service was prompt and the food was excellent. The pool was small, crowded and difficult to find. There were more children staying at the hotel than we had expected. We used video check out and it was completely hassle-free.”

- The appearance was of high quality. It is located by many things.

- The rooms were very clean, spacious and very comfortable.
- The maid never returned to clean the room after I told her to come back later.
“Overall the hotel was very nicely appointed and a friendly staff. It worked very well for us. We were there on business and it suited our needs perfectly. The staff had a list of local restaurants which was very helpful. A great hotel and I would recommend staying there again.”

- Under renovation, Internet access expensive.
“Because we were only there overnight and renovation was taking place, our experience was very limited. The pools were closed and areas were draped off for the 8am construction crew to saw, hammer, etc. Despite this, the lobby was clean and lovely as was our room. The noise was not bad in our room but would probably have been annoying in the lobby dining area.”

- Courteous staff, very clean hotel.
- Both pools were closed = disappointed kids!
“This would be a great hotel for a business trip, or a vacationing couple, but maybe not the best hotel for kids. Excellent service and nicely appointed rooms made for a pleasant stay. A convention of extremely loud women ran late into the night every night we were there. Apart from that, the only problem we had was that the pools were closed. Renovations to the pool and fitness center in June and July was probably not the best idea, but perhaps the renovations will make it worth it. Overall we had a good time, I'd recommend it to others.”

- The price was good and hotel was rated well.
- The pool not open, maid didn't come to the room had to ask for towels.
“Besides the maids never cleaning the room, the pool was not open. They charge 9.95 for internet, which a lot give it free or have hook ups in other locations. The staff was pretty good, the best part was the sports bar. This Hotel is not smoker friendly. I thought it was a little cheap to have all the smokers at the hotel entrance. Only one way in and one way out.”

- First, the comfortable bed I had a very restful sleep. Also the ambiance in general.
- The employees used to open the main doors for customers. It was very, ...very intermittent.
“Everything was as expected with this hotel except for the doormen. They were very laxed in their duties, to the point where they would look over at customers entering and ignore them while continuing their conversation's). Perhaps it is just me, but customers entering into and exiting the hotel with luggage, sometimes need a helping hand. Overall, I would stay here again, keeping in mind not to expect CONTINUOUS door service.”

- It was in a beautiful location, very romantic inside, and an amazing bed.
- Took a little time for the desk clerk to access our reservation on the computer.

- Very clean room and great view of area from room window.
- Nothing really close to this hotel. The mall next door is almost closed. Hotel is a good 20 minutes from Buckhead area.
“Pretty hotel, and a great staff. The only drawback was the location. This hotel is a long drive to the buckhead area and the mall adjacent to this property is nearly out of business. One is simply left with room service as a food and beverage choice. My hotel room was clean and quiet. Very pretty view of sunset and evening lights.”

- There was a noticeable lack of shopping and sundries available.
“I liked the hotel it was vary nice. I was disappointed with the description. I thought it was attached to a shopping mall. It was in fact across the street from a very old and dirty mall that was under going renovation. Had I know this I wouldn't have spent the extra money to stay at that hotel. After the fact I would definitely not have stayed there.”

- Nonexistent hotel staff by phone. Ring......ring...
“This 4-star Atlanta convention center hotel is conveniently located just off the expressway in Northwest Atlanta, GA. The hotel features a central atrium and attached convention center. Room service was overpriced for the quality and late arrival cold. Plan on carrying your own bags since the bellhop number went unanswered after several calls.”

“Due to the large atrium and poor sound management this hotel is very loud. The sounds from the lobby, rest and bar are all allowed to sneak through your door at all hours of the day, not to mention the lobby music that never turns off. Poor hotel design and not worth the money, other Renaissance hotels far out do this hotel.”

- The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure that the needs of the guests were met. The room was comfortable and clean.
- Personally, I am more comfortable in a 3-star hotel with a free breakfast and without the built-in class structure.

- The hotel was fabulous. Very nice place to get away on a weekend or for business. Everything you need was right there in the hotel.

“This is a nice, upscale hotel in one of Atlanta's suburban business/commercial districts. It's convenient to interstate access making downtown only a few minutes away. It does take a little navigation through a business park to get from the freeways to the hotel. Parking is valet or self-parking (The self-parking is close and free, which is a welcome change). The hotel is very nice, much like a resort hotel. It has an open atrium with a couple of restaurants, a bar and a coffee bar. The staff seemed to be friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. There are several meeting rooms onsite and the hotel connects to an enclosed convention center/retail space. I visited the hotel on a weekend (not on business) and didn't use too many of the amenities. The only points I would deduct would be for the elevator music that bounces around in the atrium and seems to come into your room at times, and for video checkout not working. Both very minor. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business or leisure. It was nearly perfect for my weekend trip.”

- Starbucks coffee in lobby. Fitness center, the classy feel to the hotel, everything.
- Hard to find something not to like. Paying for the computer in the business center was a little over the top, but at least they had one.
“The Renaissance Waverly is the ultimate in service and luxury. The health spa is incredible with every feature that you would find in a stand alone spa. The employees were trained to be positive and very helpful. Great to wake in the morning and find Starbucks in the lobby, perfect start to the day.”

“Start to finish this is a first class hotel. Staff embraces southern hospitality in all areas. Self parking was incredibly close to the front door and free. Front desk was nothing short of super and room service exceeded my already high expectations. A wonderful stay.”

- The landscaping and the lobby were nice.
- No good snacks in vending machine and no refrigerators in rooms or microwaves.

- Large rooms, free parking, pleasant atmosphere.
- In room checkout did not work.
“Staff were friendly. The hotel is in a location convenient for travelers. The interior sports a luxury atmosphere. The rooms were large and clean. Valet parking is available but you can park for free if you like.”

- I expected the bath area to be a little more spacious.

- Our hotel room was very comfortable and the beds were wonderful.
- It was a little bit of a challenge to find the driveway of the hotel, but maybe its because my direction came from an internet- map source.
“The staff were ready to help and pleasant to deal with. The exterior looked interesting, but the interior was beautifuly and stunning. The pictures on the internet does not do justice of how beautiful this place is. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities this hotel had to offer, maybe next time. This is a wonderful hotel to spend your hard-earned money on.”

- The staff makes you feel welcome and inviting.Anything we needed we didnt hesitate to ask for.
- We were upgraded to club level,and I didnt think the concigere was child friendly to our children.
“We choose this hotel because it is close to a waterpark we have passes to.It is so wonderful that we plan to go and stay just for the hotel ambiance.We love the staff and the rooms, and the beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in.”
