- Rooms were nicely decorated, staff very; friendly, beautiful area outside to walk, flowers etc.
- One of the bed mattresses was sort of squeaky and felt old.

- Convenient location, adjacent to shopping mall and free parking!
- Room service was a bit pricey.
“From the minute you walk into the lobby you become relaxed and comfortable. The rooms are huge! The service is impeccable. You really feel like you are being pampered. I loved this hotel.”

“I asked a room to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. The woman at the front desk hardly said two words to us. We were then given a room on the 9th floor. The hotel had 14 floors. We were disappointed that we did not get a room on the top floor but we didn't want to cause a stink since we were there to celebrate. Once we got to the room, an hour or so later we called the front desk to ask a question about room service. The phone rang and rang and no one ever picked up. But the icing on the cake was the following morning. We were ready for breakfast but were told that breakfast was part of the Club (top floor) and they were not open on the weekends (it was Sunday morning). Not once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience. The hotel itself was beautiful, the room was very nice and clean, however, based on the service my husband and I received we will not be returning to or recommending this hotel.”

- Unprofessional and rude front desk staff, unresponsive management.
“The personnel at the font desk were unprofessional and insulting - making inappropriate remarks and suggestions about my spouse in front of other guests and hotel personnel. While the guests appeared shocked by the conduct of the associate, others behind the front desk unsuccessfully attempted to hide their amusement. When we attempted to talk to the manger about the incident, our calls were not returned. While the facilities are above average (but not 4 star) our entire stay was ruined by the behavior of the front desk associates. We stay at Marriott Hotel 3 - 4 times per month and have never been treated in such an insulting and unprofessional manner. I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances.”

“The personnel at the front desk were unprofessional, insulting, and generally rude - making inappropriate comments and suggestions about my spouse. These comments were made in the presence of other guests who seemed shocked while the other associates behind the front desk unsuccessfully attempted to hide their amusement. When we tried to talk to the manager about the incident, our calls were not returned. While the facilities were above average (but not 4 star), the conduct to the front desk associates ruined the entire experience. We stay at Marriott hotel 3 - 4 times per month and have never been treated in such an unprofessional and insulting manner. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances.”

“Hotel is in a good location close to both the I-285 and I-75 interstates. The hotel is not very appropriate for young children and housekeeping did not do a good job (didn't even take out the trash from the room). Area around hotel looks nice but unprotected parking lot leaves a little to be desired. Gas stolen from car overnight!”

- The staff failed to control wild college kids.
“Once settled in our rooms, all hell broke lose with a group of college kids aspiring to be landscape architects and staying at the hotel for a conference with a group call planet. The kids banged on our door and others all night and then would run away down the hallway. This group must have held an all night pep rally because a group kept yelling in unison in the lobby/restaurant/conference area every thirty minutes. The design of the hotel acted as a megaphone and would amplify this yelling to a ridiculously loud level. The hotel staff was nice, but powerless to control this group of amateurs, and inconsiderate brats who acted as if this was their first trip away form their mommies.”

“I really enjoyed our stay. The lobby smelled so great. It was refreshing. The rooms were clean (smelled great also). The beds were nice and plush. Even though this hotel was rated a 4 star I would give it a 3 star rating. No refrigerator or microwave in the rooms. The parking was a disappointment. Valet was $15 a day. Self parking disappointed because it felt like a mini hike to the hotel lobby. The water was rusty due to having to shut down the water system the night before we complained and the hotel treated us to complimentary room service breakfast (excellent food). Overall I wouldn't think twice about staying there again. Nice hotel.”

- No bathtub in our room! :(.

When my husband and I first were checking in, we had friends that were also staying there and asked for another room closer to them, the lady at the front desk changed it right away and moved us to the same floor as our friends. It was really nice to have them cater to us like that.”

- Distance from room to pool and workout area was quite excessive.
“Nice atmosphere, very clean. Comfortable and affordable. Parking was very inconvenient and access to the hotel was limited with the parking situation. The pool and amenities were on the other side of the hotel from the rooms near all the banquet facilities. It took 10 minutes to walk there and in the evening you had to walk through a gathering of various people having a party, conference, or other meeting while in your swim wear; not a good setup. Pool and Jacuzzi area was very nice, though.”

- Can sometimes hear the noise and music from downstairs lobby.
“We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We got a pretty decent crib for our son. They even gave him a little teddy bear in the crib. Nice touch. The room was very well decorated. The bathroom was spacious as well. The lobby is modern and huge. They have a little Starbucks stand near the entrance and there is a breakfast area and a bar at the center of the hotel as well. The downside I found was even being on the 10th floor we could sometimes hear the music playing from the lobby in the morning. It was just a small nuisance though and we really didn't notice it that much.”

“Professional, courteous front desk and bellman. Could not get wired internet access to work even after several calls to tech support. Try to get a room near the elevators as the elevator bank is only on one side of a huge atrium. Less than a mile from galleria and Cumberland malls.”

“Because we were only there overnight and renovation was taking place, our experience was very limited. The pools were closed and areas were draped off for the 8am construction crew to saw, hammer, etc. Despite this, the lobby was clean and lovely as was our room. The noise was not bad in our room but would probably have been annoying in the lobby dining area.”

- Courteous staff, very clean hotel.
- Both pools were closed = disappointed kids!
“This would be a great hotel for a business trip, or a vacationing couple, but maybe not the best hotel for kids. Excellent service and nicely appointed rooms made for a pleasant stay. A convention of extremely loud women ran late into the night every night we were there. Apart from that, the only problem we had was that the pools were closed. Renovations to the pool and fitness center in June and July was probably not the best idea, but perhaps the renovations will make it worth it. Overall we had a good time, I'd recommend it to others.”

- Very nice city view; very clean; landscaped office park for photos.
- No issues.
“The hotel is really nice, clean and quiet. It is also located near the mall and eateries for those who prefer to venture out. I would definitely return.”

- The price was good and hotel was rated well.
- The pool not open, maid didn't come to the room had to ask for towels.
“Besides the maids never cleaning the room, the pool was not open. They charge 9.95 for internet, which a lot give it free or have hook ups in other locations. The staff was pretty good, the best part was the sports bar. This Hotel is not smoker friendly. I thought it was a little cheap to have all the smokers at the hotel entrance. Only one way in and one way out.”

- I like the health club facility.
- I did not like that the health club and pool were closed for renovations.
“This is one of the finest hotels in Atlanta. I was unhappy due to the closed pool and health club due to renovation, but would not let that stop me from staying again.”

- First, the comfortable bed I had a very restful sleep. Also the ambiance in general.
- The employees used to open the main doors for customers. It was very, ...very intermittent.
“Everything was as expected with this hotel except for the doormen. They were very laxed in their duties, to the point where they would look over at customers entering and ignore them while continuing their conversation's). Perhaps it is just me, but customers entering into and exiting the hotel with luggage, sometimes need a helping hand. Overall, I would stay here again, keeping in mind not to expect CONTINUOUS door service.”

- This is a perfect hotel for business.
- Kind of isolated in terms of things to do (restaurants, nightlife).

- They upgraded our stay to a suite, due to low occupancy.
- The water was lukewarm and had to run for several minutes.
“Overall, for a price of $70, this was a nice deal. I hope I am able to get a suite the next time.”
