• Pull out sofa was small and uncomfortable for teenaged children.

“This hotel met all of our expectations. The room was clean, the staff brought some additional towels at our request (within 2 minutes) and the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Next time the wife and I will go alone!”

“I will go to Embassy Suites next time. Happy Hour in the evening, breakfast in the morning. Sheraton was nice & had other nice amenities, but even Super 8 includes a continental breakfast in their price.”

• The staff was accommodating and attentive.
• To spend this kind of money I would expect continental breakfast at least.

“I was very impressed with the hotel staff. We were upgrade to a King Suite free of charge. Every request we made the staff was able to comply effortlessly. I would highly recommend this hotel, as if it's in an excellent location.”

• The bed being in a separate sleep chamber was a huge selling feature.
• The restaurant was a little pricey.

• I liked the location and the cleanliness of the entrance.
• The mattress had springs poking up and the couch was sinking and not comfortable to sit on.

“The overall appearance of the exterior of the hotel was very pleasant. It was in a great location convenient to lots of attractions. However, the sofa was sinking and you could not set in it for long and the mattress was very poor and had springs poking up so it was not comfortable to sleep. Also, for a higher class hotel, the fact that you had to pay for internet services seems ridiculous to me; I have stayed at numerous other hotels and never had to pay for internet access.”

• Very clean, nice big room. Loved having the suite!
• Small entrance way. Hard to find parking for easy check-in.

“Overall we were very pleased with the room/suite at the Sheraton suites. The room had all amenities we could need. Friendly staff and nice breakfast buffet. Kids loved the room-service!”

• They were painting at the entrance to the hotel.

• Maintenance and housekeeping were spotty.

“The Sheraton Galleria Atlanta is an older property in need of updating. The suites are huge, roughly double the size of a basic room elsewhere. Although having most of the amenities expected of a business-class hotel, the room was somewhat worn, with holes in the sheets, drawers that didn't open easily, and electrical outlets almost falling out of the walls. Shower needed help. Staff was friendly and professional.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• There were not enough elevators to handle a convention hotel guest base.

“My overall review gives this hotel a satisfactory score. There were mostly "housekeeping" issues that were resolved: unclean vent duct (mold & dust protruding from the bathroom vent) beer can tabs left from previous guests, toilet handle not working correctly and toilet not flushing, a/c not cooling properly, hanging dust on cornice boards (drapery tops). However upon notification the next morning, when returned that night most of the issues were resolved. My associates had another room and their room was a little better with fewer issues. This is a convention hotel which accommodates large groups on a regular basis. There were 4 very, very slow elevators with medium capacity. There was usually a long wait to go and come to your room.”

“The location is easy on and off the super highway and many amenities surrounding the hotel: Upper-end shopping mall, many restaurants, access to the Marta local train system and Hwy 75. Beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff. A great place to be away from home.”

• Free Parking and easy to walk from parking to hotel.
• They forgot to change the new towels and it took them so long to bring for me.

“Overall is OK. I have a problem with the towels and ice machine. They forgot to change the towels, I call them, it took me more than 30 min. to bring to me. And ice machine on my floor is not working. I have to go down every night to get the ice.”

• Could only access hotel from one direction. Adjacent construction not clearly labeled.

“Hotel was very nice, but not easy to access. It is adjacent to Cumberland Mall. There is a great deal of construction there and walkways labeled "mall" couldn't be used, yet were not marked accordingly.”

• Large amount of children as there was a sweet 16 party. Lots of congregation and noise.

“Was OK, except sweet 16 for African, American girl where large amount of gangster looking people congregated outside in the parking garage after. Also, dog barking in room next door, but you can't blame that on the hotel itself. Just picked the wrong night to stay there.”

• There was food left in the fridge from previous guests. The "indoor" pool was not separated from the outside pool so it was too cold to use.

• Room layout.
• Tile around bathtub had some mildew, poor lighting over shower.

“Loved the layout of the room from the bedroom, to the bathroom. Need more light over the shower and in our particular room it was very difficult to adjust the water temperature at the bathroom sink. A little noisy in the early AM with kids using the stairs, metal that were right next to our room.”

• Nice and spacious sitting room with bedroom, good lay out.

“Overall I was pleased with the hotel and my experience. There was just to negatives I would touch upon. The first was that I came on a weekend of some type of teenage retreat or competition and the teenagers were rather loud and running in the hallways and stairs at odd hours. The second was when my hair band fell behind the bedroom night stand and when I went to retrieve it I was met with a used condom wrapper. Now, overall the room was very clean and tidy and this was certainly an out of way spot, but that was kind of disturbing.”

“Decent location at intersection of I-75 and 285. Backs up to Cumberland Mall. Room smelled musty and lots of noise in the hall due to cheerleader competition. Ice machine was broken on our floor. Elevators were a long wait in the morning. Spa was closed but pool was open. Small pool.”

• I liked the cleanliness, the setup, and the overall look of the hotel.
• I didn't like the fact that you had to pay for a continental breakfast. Also, you had to go outside of the hotel to get to parking area.

• Very nice hotel, large comfortable rooms, nice location.
• It's a little tricky to get into the parking lot, you have to do lots of U turns in high traffic areas.

“We checked in for two nights. They were very accommodating, even though they were extremely busy. The rooms were large and comfortable. They have an inside and outside pool which my three year old loved, but it's very shallow. You won't be disappointed.”

• Very large, nicely appointed, great price!
• Tile showers, never a good idea for hotels. Repaired, but scary looking.

“Excellent location right off the interstate. Very large suite with separate living area and bedroom. Helpful staff, although the lounge and restaurant were relatively lackluster. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Lovely spacious suite. The Linens were lovely also. A very nice place to stay.
• They had some hot water problems during our stay and my husband loves a hot bath.

“We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. It is convenient to the interstate and it has ample parking. The hotel itself was very comfortable and we really liked the floor plan. It gives privacy when needed. We really liked it.”
