“They need strong reeducation for the custom service.” Oct 25, 2005 by
David from Georgetown, KY
“We had a smooth check in around 8 PM. I asked the front desk clerk where the nearest Fridays restaurant was at, she gave a map and explained directions perfectly. We were disappointed that no indoor recreation facilities were available. During the night our child became sick and we called the front desk for more towels. The clerk said we would have them within 10 minutes, we never did receive the towels. The only physical concerns were the bath tub needed a refurbishment, it definitely showed its age. Brown water came out of our sink upon arrival, once the faucet was on for a few minutes, the water turned clear. It did satisfy our needs of a good nights rest on our travel home from Orlando. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 25, 2005 by

“I checked in, a sign on their counter said 100 percent satisfaction guaranteed. I got to room, it was in poor shape, ceiling had water marks on the ceiling from leak, the tub was cracked and the wireless internet would not work. I called the front desk, they said they would send an engineer up in 10 minutes, the next morning no one had shown up. I stayed 2 nights, I could not stand this holiday inn another night, I check out and found me another hotel in the area, which was a much better stay. I was in room 715. I addressed the issue with the GM, but he stated he could do nothing about it. I think that is bull crap. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Sep 28, 2005 by

“It was getting a little tired. The tub valve handle came off and the tub drain was very slow probably cloged with hair.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 29, 2005 by

“This is not a 2.5 star many 2 star are a lot better cobwebs in room coffee maker but no coffee etc” Aug 11, 2005 by

“Rooms were clean, and well kept. The room was very quiet for facing the interstate. You couldn't even tell it was there. Reservation staff was unwilling to mark our reservation for bed type, and smoking preferance in advance. Would only make a note of our preference, and said if it was available we would receive them at check-in. The hotel only had about 20-30% of the rooms full on the night of our stay.” Jun 25, 2005 by
John from Cordova, TN
“We were very happy with the accomodations and the service by the hotel staff.” Jun 22, 2005 by
Whit from Nashville, TN
“Just off interstate, easy to get to. North of downtown Atlanta about 12 to 15 minutes and easy interstate access to I-75 as well as I-285. Inexpensive but still has pool and expected facilities.” Jun 18, 2005 by
Cyndy from Dothan, AL
“Staff were extremely courteous and efficient. The hotel (even though quite old) was still maintained to its highest level--the same as if the hotel had just opened. Every effort was made to treat customers like royalty--and we felt like it! Will not hesitate to stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Atlanta.” Jun 8, 2005 by
Tim from Sidney, OH
“Good Hotel, clean even though it appeared to be an older hotel.” May 30, 2005 by
Judy from Fayetteville, GA
“The courteous and right thing to do with the pillow would have been to put it in a plastic bag and return it in the condition I left it in.” May 25, 2005 by
Howard from Marietta, GA
“The Hotel was conviently located close to the freeway for easy access. It seemed well maintained, however the water pressure/plumbing was not all that it could have been. The hot water was just barely that. It was excellent quality for the price I paid. I would stay there again for that price.” May 19, 2005 by
Mack from Rock Hill, SC
“Old, dirty, hard to get to. Snobbish, don't care staff. I do not recommend this facility to anyone.” May 16, 2005 by
Margie from Marietta, GA “The first night, I came in after working a 14 hour day, I was exhausted and couldn't remember my room number. I told the guy at the front desk and he goes....'Oh...had a little too much to drink tonight did we?!' I felt totally insulted. Other than that my stay was perfect....the area was not really safe...but I knew that and took precautions.” Apr 6, 2005 by
Ellen from Ringgold, GA
“We were pleased with the hotel esp. considering the price we paid. ” Mar 17, 2005 by
Adw from Pompano Beach, FL
“As a female traveling alone I felt very safe in this location. From my rooms view, I could see I-75. In addition, it is near other hotels, restaurants and Dobbins Air Force Base. For the price, when I return to the Marietta area I will definitely stay here again.” Feb 16, 2005 by
Latisha from Atlanta, GA
“The staff was extremely pleasant, the room was clea, and I will definitely visit again.” Feb 12, 2005 by
Matt from High Point, NC
“The location is easy to find right next to I75 at an exit ramp. The room was mostly clean and about what I expected. The bed was not as comfortable as the other 3 star hotels I have stayed at, but not bad enough to make me not stay again. The only real problem was the water temperature both at the sink and in the shower. Overall a decent place, but I think I will go for a 3 star next time.” Feb 2, 2005 by
Earlest from Nashville, TN
“Pleasurable stay with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable employees. Rooms were clean and neat. Would recommend to anyone.” Jan 26, 2005 by
Gene from Kingston, GA
“Holiday Inn is always a nice stay. We did not use restaurant.” Jan 20, 2005 by
Nina from Woodridge, IL
“This hotel was clean, conveniently located, safe and the staff was very courteous.” Jan 20, 2005 by
Tracy from Paducah, KY
“It was obviously an older hotel, fairly dated interior. It was noisy all night with the interstate right next to it. The staff was very helpful when we had a complaint.” Jan 12, 2005 by
Heather from Marietta, GA
“For the rating it was not what I would call a three star hotel or a 2 1/2 as cable to the room was fuzzy and hard to see at times. The noise on the highway was right into the room.” Jan 12, 2005 by
Cathy from Gadsden, AL
“Hot water problem. Attended to immediately. It was going to take too long to fix so they opened next door room (suite, mine was just a standard room) so we could take showers before we checked out that a.m. Awesome service.” Jan 10, 2005 by
Erol from Urbana, IL
“I recommend for my friends who don't need refrigerator and microwave.” Dec 6, 2004 by
Michelle N. from Kettering “This hotel was the worst I've ever stayed in. We were on the fourth floor and heard party music all night - we complained and were put off - we were told that there was a party in the club on the first floor and it would not be over until 1am.” Dec 5, 2004 by
Richard C. from Woburn “I have stayed at this hotel in the past people always very nice and rooms are clean.” Dec 2, 2004 by
Jennifer W. from St. Charles “The staff were friendly, but I felt the hotel (at least our room) had seen better days. The sink had a huge crack in it, it looked like someone had tried to punch the bottom out and the bath tub was peeling pretty bad. Our floor was a non smoking floor, but both the hallway and our room had a strong stale cigeratte smell. We had a nice breakfast in the dining room and the kids ate free, so that was a plus.” Oct 5, 2004 by
Larry G. from Brooklyn, NY “Very pretty hotel and friendly staff.” Oct 1, 2004 by
Chandra B. from College Park “Good things: the rooms were clean and neat. Everything else: The hotel's onsite nightclub blasted music until the wee hours; we could hear it in our room 6 floors up. The ice machines were broken on several floors. Our second morning there the phone wouldn't make outside calls, for some reason. After calling the front desk to get this resolved I discovered that I was being charged for local calls, although the price was not listed on the phone or anywhere else in the room. The hotel agreed to take the calls off the bill, but when we got ready to check out the clerk refused to give me a statement. The entire stay was awful, and we left early.” Sep 2, 2004 by
Edgar P. from Greensboro, NC “Security issue-Side door lock was broken and entry could be attained without room key.”
