• Clean room. Spacious and the breakfast bar.
• Hotel was over-booked and I got a parlor room. There were no bed, just a couch.

“Hotel was over-booked when we arrived we were informed that no regular rooms were available and they only had one parlor room available basically a room with kitchenette but no bed just a sleeper sofa, very uncomfortable, we were compensated with free parking and breakfast bar(recommend). Otherwise hotel was clean and room was spacious.”

• Good business atmosphere.

“As it is on the UC campus it is not easily accessible to the highway system. While the restaurant on site is adequate there is no other good options close by. The hotel is good for the business traveler with complimentary internet in the rooms and a nice work area. An attached parking garage comes in handy in poor weather.”

• There was free internet, but I wish it had WiFi.

and rooms with many services. Room service was very reasonably priced. The breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic, however it was a bit pricey. So if you have a family, you would probably need to eat elsewhere.”

• There was a $60 charge posted to my credit account, I ask the clerk is there any changes that I am responsible for? She said no.

• Really nice spot, clean, great beds.
• Okay, so it's not in GPS. Took a long time to find. Plus business center charged 8 bucks to print off 6 color pages.

• Staff was extremely friendly.
• A little run-down.

“The room was basic and while we liked the great bed, the rest of the facilities were dated and the carpet was very stained. The front desk and housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly. Of special note was the evening bartender in the Bearcat lounge. Fair hotel for the money.”

• The hotel had a great, complimentary coffee bar set up for all guests every morning.
• Parking cost.

“The hotel is attractive with several areas to meet and relax. The rooms were big, comfortable and the beds were wonderful and down pillows and comforters. The restaurant has an extensive breakfast buffet that only costs $12. Since the hotel is affiliated with the University of Cincinnati, chances are visiting sports teams will also be staying there. That was fun.”

• No shuttle service to Football Game.

“Rooms were great. Very close to University, within walking distance. Bed was exceptional, very comfortable, did not want to leave. Hotel is maintained very well and food was good.”

• The beds and TV were GREAT!
• I had to call to get my room cleaned. Parking is a bit confusing at first.

• Difficult to find. Very small bathroom.

“Needed a room for the night after attending a birthday party. Needed to change prior to party, room unavailable for check-in at 7 PM, had to change in fitness room locker area. The only compensation given was free parking for the night.”

“Very comfortable stay. Garage is below hotel and cost $8.75 per exit or $15 a day. Room very clean with good internet access. Excellent LCD television with many accessible inputs for cameras etc.”

• The hotel was very clean, comfortable and offered internet.
• I do not think there was a pool.

“This hotel would be ideal to stay at. The only thing that I felt was misleading was that the hotel did not have a pool and it cost money to park there. Other than that, the hotel was beautiful inside and the receptionists were very kind about helping us out. The room was great.”

• They did not make our beds one day but they gave us a complimentary breakfast.

• The flat screen TV was a nice attraction.
• Pillow sizes/firmness.

“Nice place to stay. The parking was a little confusing. Should try to better mark the correct elevators etc to take from the parking garage. The parking fee was a little steep, and should be included in the room pricing. Staff was very helpful and courteous.”

• The front desk guy, he tried to charge me for a baby toy of my daughters.

“Hotel was nice, the front desk guy who was of Arab descent was kind of a jerk. When I went down to buy an ice cream bar I found a toy my daughter had dropped so I grabbed it, after grabbing the ice cream bar and walking to the front counter to pay for it the guy asked me if I was going to pay for the toy too, kind of in a jerkish way. They also charged us twice for the room and over drew our bank account. When we called I got the Arab guy again and he was no help telling me the accountants would not be in until 9 AM. All in all was nice initially but turned into a nightmare. Probably will not stay at this hotel.”

“Hotel was in good shape. Rooms were clean, flat screen TV's. Parking was $15 a night which is costly compared to free parking offered by hotels downtown Cincinnati. All in all, staff was helpful and courteous.”

• Hotel style and cleanliness were superb.
• Hotel restaurant could use a new cook.

“As hotels go, this one is specifically targeted to the medical community. It's right next to a huge medical center and VA Hospital. It's not very touristy, but close enough to I-75 or I-71 that will get you easily anywhere in downtown Cincinnati. If you want a restaurant you'll have to get in your car, because you'll not want to walk the area at night. Trust me on this. The hotel's restaurant provided a disappointing meal in a setting that should be adequate for a 3 star restaurant. It is a beautiful restaurant. The hotel staff was friendly and quick to resolve 2 issues. The food and hard, as rock, pillows. Unfortunately didn't offer very much help for the casual tourist in terms of things to do. Overall, the hotels style, comfort and cleanliness were great for the price.”

• Clean, newly updated hotel.
• Terrible location in bad part of town. No pool & charged for parking.

“Hotel was newly updated within last year. This hotel is not for families with small children. It is in a very bad part of town and you feel unsafe getting there. Once there you are okay. No pool & no kids channels on TV for the children. Didn't like having to pay $15 to park. The hotel itself is nice and would be fine, only if you needed to be right next to campus. Other than that, I would not recommend this hotel for leisure with small kids.”

• Most upscale hotels have down pillows. I'm allergic. Always bring my own.

“We were attending orientation at the University of Cincinnati for my freshman daughter. The location was perfect, easy to find. Hotel was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. A pleasant stay.”

• Fire alarm went on and we had to leave building.

“The fire alarm went off and everyone was forced to evacuate the building for about 20 minutes. This happened to be at around 7:00 pm when I was trying to take a shower and get ready to meet my friends for dinner.”

• Location is not in a great part of town, but I felt safe.

“We take a long weekend once a year to Cincy with our two sons 7 and 4. We go to a Reds game, do a little shopping and hit different museums. Hotel was perfect for our family needs but I can not say it would work for others. Though the general area is not great, I never felt unsafe with my wife and children.”

• Expectations were not met for 3 star hotel.

“2.5 or 3 star rating is too high. I can get pool + breakfast at many 2 to 2.5 star hotels. Nice conference center but with young kids, I expected an in-house pool at minimum. We had to pay to use a pool at another nearby facility. Unexpectedly, there was an additional parking fee. I wished we could have stayed elsewhere.”
