• Very clean, beautifully kept, nicely appointed rooms, a very decent restaurant.
• Slow service for the shuttle to the zoo due to miscommunication.

“This was one of the very nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. They gave us a lovely room with a nice view. They accommodated a surprise bottle of champagne to be placed in our room (from my sisters) to greet us when we checked in. This was a celebration of my husband's 65th birthday. It was very nice!”

• Very close to Bogarts concert venue.
• Sketchy neighborhood on walk to Bogarts.

“The walk to Bogart's leads you through a sketchy area, but we didn't feel unsafe because we aren't paranoid individuals -- just be aware of your surroundings as the hotel clerk told us. The staff was very helpful. Cab rides are necessary to get to tm. Adams and Newport bar districts. After bar close food options at the hotel and around it are nil, but they do have a nice selection of trail mixes you can buy.”

• It was very, very clean. The bed was like heaven and room service was very good.

• The bed linens were very good quality.
• Parking garage closed - long walk to park our car after midnight.

“While trying to sleep in the a.m. The housekeeping staff knocked on every door up and down the hallway and then the doors started banging every30 seconds aas the help went in an out. I got out of bed and went out into the hall to ask if there was a problem. They said sorry, but then the banging of doors continued as if they didn¿t realize someone could still be sleeping. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and they offered to buy us lunch. Declined.”

• The restaurant has very limited selection and did not present the food well.

“Nice room. Good location for our purpose, convenient with shuttle back to and from the university of Cincinnati, hospital or clinics. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant can be better. Overall we were very happy with our experience.”

“Extremely comfortable hotel, with free internet, a business center, and a great restaurant and bar. Excellent location, especially if visiting the university. Free shuttle provided for university visits, however, no airport shuttle service (use executive shuttle).”

• Beds so comfortable even my son was ready to sleep.
• Parking was an expensive extra charge, lot was big and not well marked.

“As a business traveler, I thought this was a top notch hotel. Rooms were clean & well appointed with beds so comfortable it felt as if you were staying at a posh spa. As a traveler with a child, I might think twice. Parking was very inconvenient and costly. No directions verbally or printed, left us walking around late at night in the garage taking elevators that did not connect to hotel. Also, no pool, spa, children's TV channels or mini fridge.”

• Parking fees, driveway by registration desk too tight.

“Nice, clean hotel in a hard-to-find area. The street that it's on dead-ends into a hospital and then picks up again on the other side keeping the same street name. City's fault, not hotel's. Very clean and really the only hotel on the UC campus. Not a great neighborhood beyond the campus, though. Money was stolen out of my truck at a gas station while I was pumping my gas.”

• Their was no refrigerator in my room (there was supposed to be), there was no pool.

• High speed Internet, friendly staff, clean, awesome beds.
• The $8.95 parking fee. This should have been noted ahead of time before purchase or included.

“This hotel was very clean, amazing comfort of the beds, large area for sleeping and desk space. The included high speed Internet was great. It allowed me to conduct business even though I didn't need to. I will definitely stay here again.”

• The location is across from the University and many of hospitals.
• Even as guest, you had to pay to park in their lot, $8.50!!

“The staff was very nice. The accommodations were clean and nice. Even though it is a conference center that caters to business travelers, it would be nice to have a few more "family friendly" things to do, like a pool for relaxation. We were there because my daughter needed to have surgery at a local hospital, and recover there for a day until we could travel back to Michigan.”

• The location is ideal for someone going to University of Cincinnati events.
• Getting to the hotel was confusing with directions from Map Quest.

“Convenient location to east side of University of Cincinnati campus, but not easiest place to get to off Interstate 265. Limited parking and confusing underground parking arrangement under two buildings without clear directions on easiest way into hotel. We wound up going up into building next to hotel, in foundation building, and had to walk outside to get to hotel.”

• It was close in proximity to where we were going to an event.
• I would have loved an indoor pool or whirlpool.

“This hotel seemed very appropriate for business travelers, with lots of conference rooms and computer hook up in the rooms. We had a very large corner room, handicapped although we didn't need or request it with a huge bathroom. I love the way that you are able to choose a guaranteed bedding and smoking preference. This was a very nice hotel, but I do not know why indoor pools and free breakfast are not standard at the nicer hotels.”

• The location for doing business at the areas hospitals is excellent.
• It would be nice if the hotel had a concierge lounge. However, the hotel gave me a coupon for breakfast.

“The Kings gate Conference Center is a hidden gem. It is situated near the University of Cincinnati and the local hospitals. It is a perfect place to stay if you are doing business at the area hospitals. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a full service Marriott property.”

• Clean, well kept.
• Bad area to access. Had to pay additional money for parking.

“I believe this hotel was originally located in the "downtown" zone of the Cincinnatio area. It is now being shown as belonging to the "Norwood" area, which is not correct. Norwood is actually 3 miles north of this hotel. I ended up with a very nice hotel, only in an area that I did not desire to stay in. ”

• The location was good for our needs. The room was beautiful. Staff friendly. Hotel was quiet.
• They charged for parking $8.25 each time you went in and out or $12 per day.
