• The staff at this hotel are no doubt the most friendly and accommodating people I've ever encountered during my travels.
• There was nothing at all that I didn't like about this hotel.

“The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Meals in the hotel restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. I would stay at this hotel again and again.”

• The size of the rooms.
• Service, food, lack of character.

“The only thing I can say positively about this place is the size of the rooms and the furnishings therein. I was expecting a little more old world class from this hotel but it had none. The hallway carpets were filthy, the front area staff were total oblivious to my needing help getting through the door and in fact ignored me completely. The food was mediocre and the bar tender ranks among the worst I have ever encountered - ignoring me and my empty wine glass for 1/2 and hour or more (I was the only person at the bar and he clearly wanted to clean up and leave even though it was only 10 pm). Stay at the Marriott or some other nearby place.”

• The staff was amazing, and the hotel and it's amenities were awesome!
• Location seemed a little unsafe.

“Beautiful historic hotel. Room was large and nicely decorated. Across the street is a lovely botanical garden.”
