• Friendly staff, very convenient room.
• No maid service in room at all for us though they said they were supposed to refresh rooms daily.

“Great, other than no maid service at all. However they did comp incidentals because of this oversight. All in all we would be very pleased to stay here again.”

• The room was beautiful and romantic - the commons area was very nice.
• Very difficult to get from garage to rooms.

“This was a romantic anniversary getaway and it lived up to everything we hoped for. The room was very nice with a beautiful view and very quiet in the morning. The breakfast was excellent - the little lounge area and commons area was pretty and relaxing. Getting to the rooms from garage was confusing.”

“Besides the odd layout of the lobby, hotel is very convenient and safe. Wi-Fi is expensive, however, I was able to pick up free Wi-Fi from the hotel across the street. I got a good rate through Priceline.”

• Spacious rooms, and very friendly staff.
• $12/day in room Internet buffet was not hot.

“Very attractive and attentive hotel. Easy to get to and very friendly. The pool facility was being remodeled and we were not aware of that. The breakfast buffet was cold, but the made to order buffet was excellent. The rooms were very nice, comfortable and quiet. I was really disappointed when I found out that I had to pay for in-room Internet ($12/day)Cheap hotels give it for free! Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay.”

• View of the river and Cincinnati skyline, clean, comfortable, great breakfast.
• $12 parking.

“Loved my stay. Cleanest, best kept hotel that I have visited. The view of the river and Cincinnati skyline was priceless. Complimentary breakfast was great. Parking rate was overpriced.”

• I had a smoking room. I am a non-smoker.

“I highly recommend the Embassy suites to anyone. Great around experience for singles and families. I will book there again when I go to Cincinnati/Covington,Ky. area. Thanks Priceline.com for the booking. However, please provide choice for non-smokers. Smoking rooms are difficult to bare.”

• The staff was really nice and helpful. I enjoyed the view from the room and TV's were a nice touch. My family loved the breakfast in the morning.

• The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The last trip to Cincinnati we stayed across the street at the Marriott and the staff there was not very nice.
• Can't think of anything.

• I loved the view from the room and loved the temperature in the pool but I would have liked it to have a deep end and hot tub working.

• The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Clean. The staff was friendly. I love the breakfast and managers reception.
• The parking garage. Have to take an elevator to the lobby.

“Embassy Suites is my favorite place to stay. In addition to the manager's reception and the complimentary breakfast the majority of the hotels are are designed with a courtyard in the center which enhances the beauty and comfort of the hotel. The Covington Suites have a simple but elegant design offering easy access to the four elevators.”

• We called 3 times for early check in, but despite that, our rooms were not ready even at 4:15 PM. Guaranteed for 3 PM though.

“The hotel and amenities were nice, but we were frustrated that our rooms were not ready for early check in or even at the guaranteed time of 3. At 4:15 they were able to give us different rooms that were available side by side. But, the door to one of the rooms had an issue where it had to be held up before you could insert the card key and open it. They knew this but failed to tell us this. So, I had to go back to the counter 2 additional times thinking they had just not scanned the card for our room. Then the temperature in the room stayed at 67 degrees the entire trip despite adjusting the thermostat. They told me the boilers were off, the only way to make it warmer was to completely shut off the fan and go without circulation. Other than our 1 room having issues, the other was nice and the hotel breakfast and managers reception were amazing! I would stay there again.”

• Hotel was located on the Ohio. Great views.
• You entered the hotel and had to go to the 2nd floor for check- in.

• Friendly staff. Close walking distance to at American Ball Park.
• Bathrooms could use a coat of paint and a little better cleaning. Windows need cleaned!

“Nice hotel with convenience to both Ball Parks. Beautiful Riverview, and Cincinnati skyline at night! A bit pricey for a family week-end, and for the condition of the hotel. We have taken our children/spouses every year for years, and the price has dramatically increased with little improvement to the hotel. A must is a visit to the Biehle Street Cafe next to the hotel!”

• The staff was very friendly and the room was huge.
• The bathtub looked kind of dingy and the paint was peeling.

“I wasn't sure what to expect. I had a room that was away from all forms of life, that wasn't the case here. The room was on the 7th floor. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying there to all of my friends and family.”

“Airy, open atrium with lots of space to relax. Clean rooms with attractive decor and lots of space. Both adults and teenage kids were very comfortable. The free cocktail hour and complimentary breakfast were nice extras.”

• Good location and good quality! Its perfect to walk to the Red's games.
• The cost of parking in the attached parking garage. Did not like the entrance from the garage.

“This hotel was a great. The location was perfect for us to do lots of different things. The hotel is very pretty, but as it got closer to the holiday weekend. It was not as romantic, because of all the kids. But, it was good to see it as a family hotel! We will go back!”

• Loved the view and that it's right on the river--you can even see ducks swimming!
• Bathrooms not quite as clean as I'd have liked.

“Excellent hotel--lovely lobby with waterfalls, hotel service personnel were extremely helpful, comfortable bed with down pillows, rooms were spacious and they upgraded me to a room with a view at my request. Fitness room is small, but functional. Pool is indoors, but really nice with a great whirlpool. Hotel restaurant looked nice--and also has a great view of the river--but every time I went in there, couldn't find anyone working there. Better choice is the Behle Cafe, right next door, with outdoor seating, great food and gracious waitstaff. I moved to this hotel for one night after spending the weekend at the Millennium in Downtown Cincinnati, and this was a 110% improvement--I could finally relax! And again, I loved that it was right on the river. You can actually walk right down to the river banks if you want.”

• Nice room, great service. Kids liked the pool. Breakfast was good.
• The chlorine odor in the pool was overpowering and made our eyes burn.

“Do not stay at this hotel. The only positive thing about this hotel is the view. We had no reservations and were very happy to get a 2 bedroom room until I noticed the vents in the rooms had black near the walls. It also smelled like smoke even though we had a non smoking room. The bathroom was dirty soap remnants dried onto soap dish. Also, mildew dried onto shower curtain. I would have left but we had no other reservations and had been on the go for a week. The pool/hot tub were dirty (hair floating on hazy surface was so gross) and it was pouring out and the skylights in main roof were leaking. Employees were using towels to soak up the water. Unbelievable.”

• Had four people in room - only three towels each day.

• No hot water. Called down to the desk twice before response.

“Nice location. Breakfast was great. Great view from the eighth floor. Swimming pool was okay. The hot tub was too hot. Room was generally clean. The refrigerator was nice to have. I can't say with great conviction that it was worth the price.”
