• Immaculate rooms, updated and contemporary, great staff.

“Really liked this hotel - it was super clean, seemed to be newly renovated, and I give the staff accolades. I am a nursing mom who traveled without my baby away for a weekend with my husband. The staff brought a refrigerator to my room and had it ready to go before I checked in. They were great. I would absolutely stay here again.”

• The hotel was great! The room overlooked Fountain Square which was beautiful.

“The hotel was wonderful! It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Our room overlooked Fountain Square which was beautiful. Staff was helpful and so much to do was within walking distance. We only paid $9.00 for the weekend for parking too (we did not use valet).”

“The hotel responded to my requests for a king bed room on a high floor via email. They honored this request. The hotel is in in immaculate shape and the staff truly care. I have stayed in almost every hotel in Cincinnati, this is by far the best experience.”

“The hotel was nice, however, the staff lost my luggage after we checked in and could not find it. I finally had it returned to me the next morning (after the event had passed that I was in town for and needed my luggage). I was not offered any compensation, not even a free breakfast. I was disappointed and will not stay with this hotel as a result.”

• Location.

“Great location and superb restaurant McCormick and Schmicks. Room was clean and updated. Nothing special. Some staff was helpful, others were less than helpful. Would stay there again for location.”

• The location was convenient and the accommodations were nice.
• The guests in neighboring rooms were very loud. I was awakened at 12:30 a.m. and again at 3:00 a.m. by loud banging on doors, voices, etc.

“The Cincinnati Westin is a very nice hotel, but they need to do a better job of educating guests about proper etiquette. In addition, the surrounding area is beginning to look run down.”

• Proximity to Fountain Square and Great Am ballpark.
• The two double beds should have been queen size.

“Nice lobby. Room was spacious. However, being a relatively tall person, the double beds provided were too short and narrow for adults. We would have preferred 2 queen size beds instead. I didn't like having to pay so much for parking. Otherwise, the stay was nice.”

• Spacious, comfortable bed, nice extras - toiletries and coffee.
• Not enough towels - charge for internet service.

“Hotel was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean but did show a little wear and tear. Limited cable channels available. Had to call for more towels - only 1 set came with the room. Only hotel on our trip where we were charged for internet service.”

• Very convenient.
• The hot tub liner was all buckled up safety hazard, stayed there a year ago and it was the same way.

“Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was wonderful. Buffet with omelet bar. Expensive, but worth it. The Champs restaurant was the worst. Everything was frozen. The hamburgers which is their signature dish was frozen. You could see that the hamburger had been put in a press, then frozen. The first day I was there, the satelite was being worked on. It rained all day so I was trapped in the hotel with TV that went in and out. I could not believe when the satelite came back up the next day that they did not have pay TV movies. You would expect that at a Westin. Left the hotel and walked a simple 2 blocks to movie theatre. That was easy.”

• The most comfotable bed,and great for getting cabs.
• Wish they had there own bar lounge set-up.

“Nice hotel ,but no vending macines for snacks or pop.Not use to having to pay that much to park. Bought 2 beers at the mini mini bar and after tip it was 12 dollars.”

• The location was in the center of downtown Cincinnati and the comfortable bed.
• Had I paid full price, I would have been very disappointed. I've stayed in moderate class hotels with more style and class.

“The location of the Westin in downtown Cincinnati is convenient to many local attractions. Just steps out the front door of the hotel, one can find Fountain Square, fine dining, sporting events, shopping, and nightlife in local clubs. The bed was comfortable, the hotel clean, and the lobby inviting. However, had I paid full price for this hotel, I would have been disappointed. I've stayed in moderate class hotels that had more style and flair.”

• The only complaint that we had was there was a thing of lunch meat left in the fridge in our room.

• It is very centrally located.
• There were no lists or books to help figure out what the hotel had to offer.

“The staff gave us no help at the desk. They were friendly but not sure of how parking worked, and did not tell us any of the hotel amenities. There were no magazines or folders in the hotel either. Dont feel like I got much idea of what was available there or in the area.”

• Location.
• Room not clean.

“We were told we had a room with 2 queen beds. The hotel did move us to a room with 2 queen beds the next day. The room was very nice but the bathroom floor had not been cleaned and had a lot of hair all over. I informed the front desk and the said they would have it cleaned immediately. When we returned the room had been made up but the floor in the bathroom was still covered in hair. The manager offered to move us again, had a person come to clean the floor, and gave us breakfast. Nice but 3 moves for 2 night stay! He should have given us 2 nights at any Westin of our choice so we may get the whole experience.”

• Great location; clean.
• There was no hair dryer in the room; had to call twice to get one.

“We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was a great location, as it was within walking distance to the Reds baseball stadium. However, many stores in the area weren't open after 5 while we were there (Friday-Sunday), which was a bit disappointing. Overall, though, we would stay here again.”

“The rooms were ok excepted that the showers leaked, the tub filled halfway up while taking a shower, and the sink faucet was loose. Had to pay extra for parking, and they had no vending machines in the building.”

• No where to park without paying the city to park hotel does not have own parking.

• Hotel was great, centrally located, and had pleasant staff.
• The elevator had dust ball from a vacuum on the floor. Other than that the hotel was fine.

“ This hotel is a good balance between classy business travel and leisure travel. Starbucks in the room was a great feature. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower nice (double shower heads) although the tub and shower head need to be bleached; they were both stained. Overall, a very pleasant stay especially for the price. ”

• Extremely friendly staff & beautiful view of Fountain Square.
• Room service was extremely expensive.

“ This is a great hotel centrally located in downtown Cincinnati. They have valet parking which is rather pricey at $24.95 per day, park your own car for only $3 per night. To get to the parking garage you drive down this tight spiraling tunnel underneath the hotel. There are taxis lined up out front of the hotel to take you wherever you would need to go. Hotel appears to be recently updated in the rooms, you can tell on the ceilings where the old walls used to be. It is a nice hotel, beds weren't heavenly. Great customer service but no vending machines in the hotel, you have to use the overpriced mini bar! ”

• Had lot's of good eatery's in the area.
• They charged for WiFi. Had to pay for parking.

• Very convenient to the Great American Ballpark and Fountain Square.
• Mildew on shower ceiling.

“Overall it was very good. The Mildew in the bathroom in the shower area on the ceiling is something that can be addressed by using a mildew resistant paint. The mildew should be sealed with a stain killer/sealer and then 2 coats of mildew resistant paint should be applied. This will prevent the problem occurring.”

“I liked the hotel. Room service didn't like the breakfast. Didn't like $16 a day for internet, not even WiFi, hallways were very plain might be scary until you open your door then it's great! Loved the beds and shower! I would stay again if I was in downtown unless I found hotel with free WiFi!”

• Really enjoyed the spacious room and the view of Fountain Square.
• Elevators were very slow.

“Great room with a great view. Easily accommodated our family, including a roll away bed. Very convenient location for attending sporting events on the riverfront. Parking was cheap (weekend rates). Only issue we had were the waits for elevators were extremely long.”
