“Staff was not very friendly; the public rooms were clean and nice. The rooms were dingy, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall in some places and there was a bad smell coming from the air conditioner.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Cody “The hotel was good for the price until we checked out they charged me a second time for the room, and also charged me for a phone saying we broke it. the service was/is very poor i have been trying to dispute these problems and i have not got one response back from the hotel at all.” May 21, 2008 by
David from Sidney, OH
“This hotel was disgusting, first of all the wallpaper was peeling off the walls of our room. The ceiling had water stains on it. the carpet was dirty, half the channels on the TV had no sound. The towel holder in the bathroom was broken.” Jan 17, 2007 by
Leslie from Greenwood, IN
“There were no towels the room wasn¿t very clean, oversell I was very disappointed.” Nov 22, 2006 by
Dennis from Memphis, TN
“Fine hotel if you want a room convenient to downtown Cincinnati and the airport. Free wife is a plus. It was great value for the money, and better than I could have expected.” Aug 17, 2006 by
Debbie from Allison Park, PA
“The lobby was nice. Had to wait for a room even though I requested an early check in. I noticed a piece of furniture in the room had water damage which made the room look bad. No other problems with service or cleanliness.” Aug 6, 2006 by
Ziegilda from Detroit, MI
“Regular price for this hotel was $125.00/day - not worth it. For size of hotel it was more like a motel and price should be less than they accepted. Overall, the stay was fairly well.” Jul 5, 2006 by
Steve from Zeeland, MI
“ We arrived an hour early so our rooms had not been cleaned. The lady at the desk was helpful in directing us to the Newport riverfront area. When we returned, 6 hours later, one of the rooms had disgusting trash in the bathroom which was immediately taken care of. Our bathroom ceiling had black mold on it. In the third room, the shower needed a crescent wrench to turn it on. One of our friends used our shower so we could leave. The rest of the room (s) seemed clean. The hotel runs parallel to the highway and if your room is on that side on the hotel, expect to hear a lot on road noise. The breakfast was a typical one with cold cereal and bagels.” Jun 23, 2006 by
Susan from Jacksonville, FL
“This is an older hotel that is undergoing updates. They were replacing the carpet in some areas during our stay. It is clean and quiet and in a safe neighborhood, convenient to the Covington area. There is shopping at several I-75 exits close by. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant.” Jun 7, 2006 by
Paul from Taylor, MI
“I would not stay there again so could not recommend it to anyone.” Jun 7, 2006 by
Mark from Indianapolis, IN
“This Ramada barely rates a 2-star rating. More like 1.5. The room was clean, but we inspected it before we brought our bags in. 7' drop ceilings probably conceal retrofit plumbing/wiring or bad ceilings, but make the hallways look like something from Alice In Wonderland (or the B&W B-movie remake). The hotel shares its parking lot w/ a bar-restaurant and a live-in "hotel." ” Oct 30, 2005 by
Lloyd from Simpsonville, KY
“It was clean and comfortable.” Sep 21, 2005 by
Chris from Asheville, NC
“Pretty good 2-star hotel, but barely worth what I paid. Located only 5 minutes from downtown Cincinnati, which was a big plus. Would prefer to stay somewhere else next time, but not bad.” Aug 23, 2005 by
Charles from South Hadley, MA
“This was the poorest hotel I have stayed at. It wasn't unlivable, but it was run down. There was not enough personnel available to check me in. The room had several "defects", such as peeling paint and chipped tile in the bathroom. The bathroom fixtures appeared to be about 30 years old. Not a nice room for a Ramada. I would not recommend this hotel.” Aug 17, 2005 by
Kathi
“Clean, the hall doorway needed to be fixed. Not secure. Otherwise ok” Jul 25, 2005 by
Albert from Copley, OH
“Old hotel with aged room windows which could not isolate well the roaring sound from freeway. If you dont need a quiet room to sleep, go for it.” Jun 15, 2005 by
Amy from Maryville, TN
“The hotel was not clean and the smoking rooms reaked of smoke. I have had to stay in rooms before that were smoking and it was not obvious after a while. This room smelled very badly which told me that they did not clean very well. The front desk would not even give us the King size bed room they had available knowing I had 3 children with me.” Jun 7, 2005 by
Robert from Anna, OH
“Convenient friendly modest price but very basic” May 25, 2005 by
Mark from Powell, TN
“Not any place i would recomend to anyone to stay at. was hard to find and was not a suitable place for children.LOOKED ROUGH!!!” Hotel Representatives:
