• The rooms were clean, well-designed, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
• Limited television channels; only local channels, discovery, CNN and FOX were available.

“Comfortable, clean, well-organized rooms and friendly staff. Only reservations I have are the availability of certain minor expectations one would normally expect in a nice hotel. There was no iron or ironing board or blow drier. The television selection available without extra fees was limited to local channels, FOX, CNN, and the Discovery channel.”

• There was a miscommunication with staff about New Years Day breakfast hours.

“The hotel was a little hard to find off the interstate, but the room was nice with easily adjustable heating. The staff was very warm and helpful. I even found a hand written welcome note under the door the first morning! There was a bit of miscommunication with staff about New Years Day breakfast hours, but I was given a complimentary breakfast the following day.”

• Very friendly, helpful and polite staff. Clean and kept up.
• The hot tub was broken when we were there.

“I highly recommend this hotel. It was near the main highway, therefore easy to find. It was near shopping and restaurants. It was in a clean area of town. The staff was some of the nicest I have ever met at a hotel.”

• The staff was amazingly friendly. The room was spotless.
• The location seems somewhat isolated, although there were businesses a mile or so away.

• Plenty of room, easy chair.
• Far too close to the interstate, traffic very noisy, no tissues, no shampoo, no complimentary breakfast.

• The staff was very friendly and the room was nice.
• The pool was suppose to be heated but was not.

“I like this hotel. The room was big and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, she even wrote us a note. This was good customer service. The only complaint I have about the hotel is that the pool was freezing and not being heated.”

• They did not provide shampoo. However, they did provide conditioner. When I asked the maid for shampoo, she said they didn't have shampoo.

“I had stayed at this hotel before. I knew to ask for a room opposite the highway. The rooms on that side of the hotel were very noisy.”

• Highway noise on one side of the hotel.

“I would be very happy to stay in this hotel again. The only thing I would do is request a room on the side of the hotel away from the highway. Otherwise, it was a fabulous room.”

• The bed was so comfortable and that is hard to find in a hotel.
• The bed skirt had a stain on it, not sure what it was.

“The staff was very friendly, and the bed was very comfortable, plus you had 5 pillows on your bed, which gave you enough so you could choose the one you wanted to sleep on. I would stay here again if I was in this area.”

• I dig the soothing sounds player by the bed - nice touch.
• Map quest's directions, while they did get me there, were way too complicated. There was a freeway exit right there!

• The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.
• It was very noisy. My room faced the interstate. You could hear big trucks roaring by all night long.

“The hotel was conveniently located to many things in the area. It was very easy to find. However, the rooms facing the interstate were very noisy. You could hear the traffic all night long (especially the big trucks). If you stay here, ask for a room not facing the interstate.”

• The staff was very friendly and the hot tub/pool was fantastic!
• The breakfast buffet was too expensive! $9.95.

“The hotel was exactly what we were looking for with one exception. I would have liked to see a free breakfast. The buffet is a nice idea, but $10 a person is a little steep! The pool and hot tub were nice after a day of skiing and there were plenty of restaurants around to choose from.”

• Clean, spacious room, real fireplace in lobby, friendly, nice heat and humidifier in room, towels in pool area, classy.
• No continental breakfast.

“When we arrived, our check in was fast and easy. The front desk personnel were friendly and welcoming. Wow! A no smoking building in KY Even. Our room was very accommodating and comfortable. It was very nice to have such great draperies to keep out all light for a nice sleep in during the morning. I almost forgot. There was a nice noisemaker to drown out the outside sounds. The sounds you could choose from were rain forest, thunderstorm, songbirds, and ocean waves. Great swimming pool and hot tub!”

• Distance from airport/shuttle stops at midnight.

“This hotel met my expectations, having had good experiences at courtyard by Marriott hotels recently. The staff was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was an excellent alternative to $8 bagels at the airport. My only complaint is the distance from the airport (there's another courtyard much closer), and the airport shuttle wasn't running after midnight. Overall, very pleasant experience.”

• It was on our route.
• The rooms had a strange smell, the window (first floor) was not in good condition.

“It looked tired as far as the rooms were concerned, and again the strange musty smell and the feel of the carpet on my feet was moist. I was concerned there may have been mold in the room.”
