• Attractive public areas. free WI-FI Internet access.
• Non-smoking facility, would not have chosen it had I known.

“Nice hotel. Not at all in-town. Lots of restaurants within a short drive. Kind of suburban and not a place to stay if you want to be near the center of Lansing.”

“I am a frequent traveler and would say this is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were very comfortable and had deluxe bedding. It was a great value.”

• Excellent room service.
• They were renovating the club room on club floor.

“Provided an excellent comfortable two night "Parental Getaway" from Metro Detroit. A short drive to the MSU campus. We saw a professional musical play, Wicked, at the MSU's Wharton Center which was also an excellent experience. The staff at the Sheraton was very helpful. Upon delivery of a room service breakfast. The environment was friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. We were permitted a 1 P.M. checkout without hassle. A great experience.”

• Location.
• Could use some updating, like curtains, fresh paint, etc. Parking too far from guest rooms.

“This was probably a very nice hotel 20 years ago. The location is great. It could use a little "freshening up". Parking rather inconvenient; close to banquet rooms, but a long walk to guest rooms.”

• Hotel was gorgeous, room was beautiful at mid-day they refreshed the room and left chocolate covered strawberries. A great surprise to come back to.
• The whirlpool was over chlorinated. My skin is still red three days later from using the whirlpool.

“This is a beautiful hotel, the pictures don't do it justice. Rooms are very spacious and the customer service was wonderful. After coming back to the room after a busy day we were surprised that they had freshened up the room and left us a dish of chocolate covered strawberries. The restaurant was okay, but in general we were very happy.”

• The hotel staff is the most friendly ever!
• The bed was a little too soft.

“We arrived at the hotel before 9:00 a.m. and check in starts at 3:00. Once we told the front-desk clerk, Kate, that we drove for 14 hours, she found us a clean room and let us in 6 hours before check in time. That was awesome! This hotel is also close to everything! We couldn't believe that we got this room for $52, since the rates there start at $89. ”

• This Hotel was very classy for being only a five star hotel.
• LOVED Everything.

“The hotel is spectacular in appearance. It is also located in a very convenient location, right off of the expressway. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room itself, was clean and very presentable. I would rate this Hotel a five star unlike the three star that it is already rated.”

• The hotel is very well maintained and is beautiful. I particularly liked the fountain and the glass elevator.
• I liked everything about the hotel.

“The hotel is located close to a major highway, in a nice area of town close to other businesses. There is abundant parking, and a circular drive to the entrance where luggage can be left. There are plenty of luggage carts. Coming into the main lobby, there is a beautiful fountain, a gift shop/coffee shop (with Starbucks coffee), and a glass elevator. There are 4 floors, with open areas overlooking the lobby. The rooms are large, clean, well-furnished, and neatly arranged. The photographs on the wall are striking.”

• It was beautiful. The bed was wonderful and we slept great . We will stay there again if we are in the area.
• We had a leaky faucet that dripped all the time. We closed the door to avoid the sound.

“The room was clean and neat. the beds were wonderful. I loved the fact that there were two sinks as we were 3 women in the room. it made it easier to get ready in the morning. I emailed ahead to get a non smoking room with two beds. they were quick with the response and the room was ready to my specifications. the only negative thing was the leaky faucet in the tub it needs to be fixed it dripped non stop. We closed the door to the bathroom to not hear the dripping. if we were to be there more than one night I would have requested another room.”

• Clean nice bed.
• Noisy hear doors slamming people in hallways, Hotel staff did not enforce the quiet time. Kids running around all night in the pool and game areas.

“The hotel itself is nice but the monitoring of kid and noise was bad. Disturbed sleep numerous times and left pool area because of kids in there after hours. Smokey and noisy near bar/restaurant area.”

• The front lobby of the hotel was beautiful. There was a star bucks in the hotel.
• Not the fault of the hotel, but some of the guests were loud during the night.

“The hotel is attractive from the outside, with lots of parking. The front lobby is very fancy, and there are glassed elevators to the upper levels. Our non-smoking room had a very comfortable stuffed chair with ottoman, a desk with chair, a coffeemaker, a television and a king-sized bed. The pillows were numerous and fluffy, and the bed was comfortable. There was a single sink outside of the bathroom, which contained another sink, bathtub/shower, and hair dryer.”

• I loved the facilities. I enjoyed the comfort and elegance of the hotel. The hotel is confidently located and the staff were nice.
• The server at the restaurant was not going to allow me to have breakfast as it ended in 10 minutes. However, she apologized and allowed me to have breakfast.

• Inside was very nice, good play area for kids.
• Beds were very old and saggy, the hot tub was cold.

“Very nice staff that I saw, very clean. The playroom and basketball court were great for the kids. The hot tub was cold and the twin beds seemed old and very saggy, not at comfortable to sleep on for myself or the kids. The bar is located right the elevators and you get tons of smoke from the bar.”

• It was great - everything was just as we wanted - the room and pool were great. The staff was helpful.
• We called the hotel and reserved an extra night and when we went to check-in we found out that they had sold our room to someone else.

“Even though they sold our room to someone else it turned out great because they sent us to another excellent hotel nearby and paid for the night.”

• The Hotel itself, was very nice.
• They didn't have a microwave or refrigerator to use. They also charged my credit card without telling me.

“The hotel was nice. I didn't like the fact that there was no microwave or refrigerator available. When you go to the printout of the hotel, they show a den in the rooms they have. For some reason the one we stayed in didn't have a den. I think if you get your reservation and they already know what room you will be in, they should only show that one, not something else they have leading you to think that this is what your getting. It would have also been nice if they had told me they would be charging my credit. I've never experienced anything like that before. They should have informed me before even trying to charge my card.”

• This hotel has been renovated, so all the beddings and furnishings are in good condition. The room is very clean.
• The bathroom is very, very small in the King bed room, #210.

“ The hotel is not near any shopping centers or other points of interest. The lobby and room looked very clean. The bed is very comfortable. The new Activity Center seemed to be clean and in good condition. We didn't eat at the hotel or use the Activity Center.”
