• They did bring me a cot at no charge when I expressed unhappiness about not being able to get 2 beds.
• Very unattractive hotel. Under renovation but a lot needs to be done to make this an attractive place.

“The unappealing common areas -all of them- even allowing for the renovation in progress made this hotel seem unsafe, although I'm sure it was fine. The lighting and layout of the hallways seemed seedy. I would not stay here again and would have preferred the Red Roof Inn across the street.”

• Friday's restaurant was attached to the hotel. Other restaurants near but as well.
• Noisy. Smelled of chemical cleaners. Front desk was understaffed. Hotel guest computer was "out of service."

• The parking lots were in great need of repair, huge holes.

“Old outdated, need refrigerators and microwaves in king rooms. Fans in bathrooms. Outside security doors do not lock at night. Open to anyone. Not very safe.”

• First room was dirty and run down like most of the hotel.

“This hotel is in bad need of thorough cleaning and updating. The pool area was dirty, the halls were dirty and my first room was dirty. I was given a smoking room after requesting a non-smoking room and the staff was very unhelpful. I finally got my room switched for the second night of my stay and that room was much nicer.”

• The beds were too hard.

“The hotel was being remodeled and got me very sick with my allergies very flared up. I spent over $20 in medication while out of town and was totally miserable.”

• The hotel had a large pool area in a dome that was family friendly.
• The bed was not comfortable, too hard.

• TGI Fridays is a great addition to the hotel.
• No open electrical plugs in the rooms.

• TGIF Fridays.
• The spiders on my pillow and in the bathroom and the shower drain were clogged.

“The hotel was neat but the shower drain and the sink were both clogged, so I had to buy some liquid plumber or I would not be able to shower. In addition there were bugs in my room.”

• It was clean and I liked the exercise room and indoor pool.
• Staff was not very friendly and did not take into consideration the type of customers before assigning rooms.

“The hotel its self was very nice, but the front desk did not take into account that normal travelers do not want to be placed in rooms next to groups of teenagers, which is what happened to us. We were right next to the pool which would have been ok if staff had enforced the 11pm close time, but they didn't and the noise was terrible. There was a group of kids ranging from 6-18 at the hotel and the front desk placed them in rooms next to customers without kids. I had to call security at 2:45 a.m. Due to the unattended teenagers in the room next door making so much noise. Not a very restful stay. When we checked-out, the front desk person did not smile or even ask how our stay was - which would have been a good question when someone is checking out at 4:30 a.m. Groups of kids should be assigned rooms in a different section of the hotel from regular guest. We did appreciate the use of the computer in the business center to print our boarding passes for our flights. Entrance by TGI Fridays has big pot holes in the drive way.”

• I chew ice and the ice was great!
• Dirty rooms, filthy carpet throughout, and smell of smoke too prominent.

“This is my second stay here. I would never stay at this location, it is dirty, outdated and the carpet is disgusting and makes you think you would catch a foot fungus for just walking on the carpet even with your shoes on!”

• The view of the pool area was nice.
• The staff did not inform us of the noise level to expect until midnight.

“This was an older hotel with only one elevator for 3 or 4 corridors. Not suited for a senior citizen or someone that has difficulty walking long distances. The noise on the pool side can be unbearable.”

• The closet door was broken, the walls needed to be painted, and the room had a stale smell in it.

“I expected the room to be a little nicer than it was. It needs to be painted and aired out. The closet door was broken and it just didn't look or feel clean at all.”

• Lots of people being such a large hotel so pool, hot tub, and arcade were crowded.

“Mold in the ice machine. The night staff couldn't find me a needle and thread--next day the day shift found one no problem, but it was too late--I had to live without a button. Crumbs in my bed--were the sheets even changed? I would have been outraged if I had paid "full price." Just annoyed at the price I paid--motel 6 range. Is it true?”

• Staff was friendly.
• Dirty, needs updating, stained carpet, mold, broken air conditioner with no one to repair.

“It was their hospitality room, the carpet was dirty and stained, the chairs were dirty and stained. Neither of the air conditioners worked and there was no one available to fix them the whole weekend, leaving the room musty and very warm. We were unable to open the windows as there were no screens. We will not be staying with them ever again.”

• The pool area was very nice.
• The desk staff seemed disinterested. The two we talked to seemed distracted and too busy to be bothered with us.

“This motel was older than we expected. It was adequate but easily the least impressive of the four motels we stayed at on our trip.”

• I love the swimming pool area. One of the indoor pools I've used.
• The beds were not very comfortable.

“The hotel is definitely a great stay for the money. The rooms are very clean and the staff are accommodating. Except for the sales manager. I needed a king size bed for my wife and I. My wife was in a recently car accident and needed more space to rest. The sales manager had no compassion in the matter and put us in a room with two doubles. I personally think he thought that our room rate was to low, therefore he did not want to give a king size room.”

“This hotel didn't have anything extra special about it. it was a typical hotel with no extra features. however, they did have cable. located around a bunch of shopping and food.”

• Smoking and non smoking were on the same floor and in some areas the hallways stunk.

“We were not in their computer base like a regular customer. Our reservation were in a separate pile. I had to request to have my phone turned on even though I did leave a credit card number at the desk.”

• Just off the highway - easy to get to.
• No free continental breakfast. The charge was $9.00!

“Staff sent us to the wrong room - we frightened the guests already assigned to that room. When re-assigned to another room, we found the hotel was like a maze - very inconvenient, especially with luggage. It took us about 20 minutes to get to the right room. Very frustrating!!!”

• We loved the indoor pool/Jacuzzi.
• The bathroom was not cleaned to my satisfaction, full of black hair.

“All in all, we had a great time. The hotel staff was friendly, with the exception of one very rude breakfast bar girl with a bad attitude. We had 5 boys with us, all under the age of 9, who absolutely loved the indoor pool/Jacuzzi and game area. The location was a little out of the way for where we wanted to be, but, nonetheless it was a great place for the money we spent. Would definitely stay there again.”

• Was expecting to use the pool with our 6 and 2 year old, but was under renovation when we got there. Not happy with this.

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The place for breakfast close early @ 9:00 &10:00 on weekends. I was also under the impression that breakfast was free, from the reviews I read.

“I think the hotel have made some major improvements from the last time I stayed. The front desk was real helpful to me, I had some personal business to take care of while I was there. I didn't like that the breakfast area close up at 9:00 on the weekdays and 10:00 on weekends. I was also under the impression that breakfast was free. NOT. Overall, I think I would stay there again, especially if the pool and the atrium is open. It was under reconstruction during my stay.”

• I really like the clean appearance of the hotel both outside and in.
• The pool needed some cosmetic touching up, the pool bottom needed to be repainted. Upon arriving, the front desk clerk was not friendly.

• Check-out process. They had a credit card number that didn't match mine.

“Check-in was quick and easy. Was able to change from 2DB, smoking to 1KB, nonsmoking room with ease. Got first floor room near the lobby. Quiet room. Great value, though Holidome was closed.”

“We were kept up all four nights by yelling in the halls- repeated calls to desk got us free breakfast - who cares - pot smokers outside our parking lot entrance one night - had hard time getting through them as they passed joints - security chased them around - weren't even "checked-in" guests - got free movie for this - who cares - not a pleasant experience - scary for my kids.”
