“Nice hotel with very clean rooms. Front desk staff are exceptional. Good view from the room of lake Huron, the sunrise was awesome. Very good breakfast, more than just donuts and bagel.” Oct 1, 2009 by
Ryan from Belmont,MI
“Will return again.” Sep 9, 2009 by
Sandy from Mt. Pleasant,MI
“I was definitely not impressed for the amount of money we paid. I'm assuming the cost was for the view because the room was definitely not worth it. The shower head was very low, exactly how another viewer described it. The hotel was dated, room smelled musty, dead bugs in room.” Aug 29, 2009 by
Fred from Oxford,MI
“Very nice size rooms for the price. Good location, close to attractions. Helpful staff. rooms were clean and the bacony was nice and had a great view of the straits. Quiet and right on the water. Would definitely stay there again.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Brian from Auburn Hills, MI
“When I first walked into the room, it had a bad musty smell. The smell went away after having the window open and the fan blowing for about a day. Most likely the room had not been used in a while, but this being the 'Jacuzzi suite' I would expect they could invest in a bottle of fabreze. Overall I was satisfied with my stay. The view from the waterfront porch was nice, I had a good view of Mackinac Island. The staff that I interacted with were all polite and professional.” Sep 27, 2007 by
Deborah from Elkhart, IN
“This hotel, although the name days inn used to mean family and pet friendly, is not. We were denied our room once the manager and his office staff were informed by me that we were traveling with our small dog. We were told to leave him in our car overnight or find a kennel for him. We declined their offer and found another place to stay for the weekend. The manager made no attempt to assist us in finding another hotel, offered no assistance in refunding our money, and seemed to be relying on his one staff member at the front desk to make his decisions. If you are looking for a family friendly hotel, this is not it.” Aug 9, 2007 by

“This was a nice place to stay with children and older family members.” Jul 27, 2007 by
Patti from Larsen, WI
“The staff was very friendly and helpful as were our fellow guests. The woman running the Sunday morning breakfast was very nice and did a very good job of keeping things stocked and cleaned up. They need to do some landscaping in the back to make it more attractive to visitors.” Jul 10, 2007 by
Lisa from Ypsilanti, MI
“Staff was friendly. Pool was quite nice. Front desk staff made a special effort to get us ferry tickets and helped us make a 2:00 ferry so we didn't have to wait till 3:00, arranged a shuttle for us and all with a friendly smile. Our nonsmoking room was previously a smoking room and had residual stink (went away after we opened up the windows). Overall a nice hotel for a good price.” Jul 9, 2007 by
Mike from Westland, MI
“We liked the view and the price. Needed a beach, but other then that we would go back.” Jul 2, 2007 by
Dawn from Woodstock, IL
“This was a very comfortable, large room with view of lake. Refrigerator included. Very economical for the average family.” May 31, 2007 by
Seung W. from Ann Arbor, MI
“Just enough for one night with family.” Mar 21, 2007 by
Catherine from Fort Wayne, IN
“Okay for a one night stay, however, rather overpriced. The view is great. Kids will love the pool.” Sep 1, 2006 by
Jennifer from De Pere, WI
“The hotel was very clean & nice. I did suggest they put up signs discouraging people from feeding the seagulls as they screech very loudly right outside your balcony door.” Aug 21, 2006 by
Farrah from Warren, MI
“It's ok, I wouldn't pay more than $80 a night, but the balcony is a nice touch.” Jun 29, 2006 by
Sandy from Oxford, MI
“Lovely view of Lage Huron. Nice, clean rooms and pool restaurants within walking distance. Close to town, casino and castle rock attraction. Thank you so much for an enjoyable weekend. Will recommend this lodging to everyone.” Hotel Representatives:
