• The room was clean.
• The hotel staff was not friendly at all.

“The hotel it self was okay, we liked the idea of the beach front. The hotel staff was not friendly at all and the continental breakfast was not that wonderful, cereals, muffins, and waffles. I probably won't go back.”

• Excellent free breakfast selection with hot waffles.
• All of the entrances had a lot of spiders around the doors.

“I really enjoyed the room for what it was for. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I needed directions to nearby attractions. I would defiantly stay at this hotel again.”

• The view from the window & our balcony was beautiful.
• The breakfast room was in another building & not big enough to accommodate everyone.

“I really didn't have any complaints; the breakfast room was not that much of an inconvenience. For what we needed it for (which was mainly only to sleep & shower) it was very nice.”

• Soda machine.
• Repairs and workmanship were very shoddy in room.

“Very unpleasant odor in lobby. Did not feel safe . Problem with door cards each day . Staff not friendly. Did not inform coffee and muffins were available .”

• Great location, clean and indoor pool.
• Pool was cold.

“This hotel was much cheaper and nicer than some in Mackinac City. Had a nice private balcony and rooms were clean and spacious. Will certainly come back again!”

• The staff was very friendly and willing to help with all our needs.
• The room was not clean at all.

“The location is great! However, our room was very unclean. The toilet was not cleaned, curtains and furniture were stained, I don't think they vacuumed. Our balcony had screws coming out of it (not safe if you have little ones). The staff was very nice though, and helped with all our needs. There is a cute beach area with a play area for kids that was really nice.”

• Excellent continental breakfast, nice sunrise view.
• Balcony overrun with spiders and webs.

“Great breakfast offerings, plenty of parking, quiet area just north of town, nice sunrise view over the lake, courteous staff, mini- fridge in room.”

• Lake view room with terraces afforded fabulous views.
• The breakfast room was too small.

• I loved almost everything about my stay.
• I have one thing I didn't like. When I was there July 23 of 2003 the woman putting out breakfast was very snotty.

“This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I loved having a balcony facing Lake Huron and also that all the popular destinations are close by. Everyone that works in this hotel makes your stay very enjoyable.”
