• The location it is close to retail stores, restaurants, the university.
• Did not have enough linen in the room.

• Close to Ft. Benning.
• McDonalds and a Steak House in same parking lot. Too much public going thru hotel parking lot.

“Room access is from the outside. The picture only showed the front lobby area and not the entire hotel. I like access from an inside closed hallway for security. The room doors need to be repaired, looks like some have been kick in at some time and was hard to shut. I did not report anything to the manager because their was ongoing repairs being made to the entire hotel. Lot of good improvements going on. Price was good. I will most likely go back. Pool area was great.”

• Incredible friendly staff, very accommodating.
• House keeping didn't clean every day.

“This hotel was perfect for our week long stay. Very friendly staff that accommodated our every need. Not a fancy hotel or anything, just a place to lay your head. Great location for shopping and restaurants. Will stay there again.”

• It was in a safe area.
• Garbage men worked all night long. Too much noise!

“The hotel was alright. The staff was friendly. The problem is that the garbage men work all night. The first came at 12:30 AM and continued working in the area until about 6:00AM. I got almost no sleep.”

• I liked that the housekeepers were friendly. And the front desk staff.
• The room was great, but there were people walking around outside that kind of scared me.

• Dumpy, disorganized, over booked.

“The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the bathroom door was rotted at the bottom. The ice machine was always empty and they tried to tell us we didn't pay for our room. They wasted 1/2 hour of my time. The staff was very good except for that part. They have a warning not to leave anything that could be stolen so we didn't let them clean our room. I needed more towels and they didn't have any. The next day they did though. I actually liked everything except the part where they tried to kick us out or down grade us.”

“I will never stay at this hotel again! We came to watch my son graduate from ft. Banning and booked this hotel because of location - usually la Quinta is a good overnight hotel. The only positive note I have is that the staff was friendly. We stayed in a non-smoking room which smelled so bad that we felt sick and smelled like ashtrays even after taking showers. The bathroom was disgusting - there was a large crack in the tub, which when you stepped in the shower, black particles came through and there was mold and mildew throughout. If you are coming for your son's graduation, I would highly recommend that you stay above exit 8 - this hotel was located at exit 6 and ft. Banning is exit 1. It will be worth an extra 10 minute drive.”

“This is a tidy soldier-friendly hotel in a soldier town with the anticipated late night / early morning guest noise. If you are visiting Fort Benning this is a great place to stay, especially with the food store and restaurants next door. The morning desk staff know the area well and were very helpful. The poolside rooms are just steps from a very clean pool!”

• It was fairly convenient to the interstate.
• There were a lot of guests talking on cell phones outside their rooms smoking.

“This motel is an ok place to stay. At first I was a little nervous since there were so many men standing outside their rooms smoking and talking on the cell phones, but when I realized they were military guys, that was ok. We had a woman yelling outside our room at 1:00 pm one night but other than that the place was quiet. The room was clean, beds comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not great.”

“This hotel was very clean and easy to find. The location is not the greatest for quiet, there were a lot of fast food restaurants and stores right next door, although that was convenient. The free breakfast was basic.”

• parking lot way to small, didn't meet level two standards, more like cheap

“The hotel wasn't as clean and fresh as I would have guessed by the pictures. the room was fairly small for two bed, and you can easily tell the hotel had not been updated in a while. The parking lot was small and cars were right on top of each other. I was just hoping that my car wouldn't get banged into by another. I will use prickling again, but wouldn't recommend this facility.”
