• The Breakfast selection was limited.

• Very friendly & helpful staff, nice continental breakfast.
• Pool was closed.

“Good location, seemed safe. Main entrance through the lobby. Close to shopping and restaurants, but a little tricky to get in and out. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Staff was all ready to accommodate guests. Got extra pillows, later check out, friendly directions, etc. I would stay there again if I had to travel back to Columbus, GA.”

• Staff was very friendly and the hotel was rated a 1 star, but definitely a 2 star.
• A little difficult to find off the highway.

“The staff was excellent and very friendly. The hotel was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is rated a 1 star, but I believe it was comparable to a 2 star.”

• The fact that when I walked into the room it had a smell.

• It is very close to our child's college and staff is friendly.
• The rooms are a little dirty and the ceiling was falling down in some places.

“I would go back to this hotel for the price and the staff is nice. It does need upgrading and you have to leave the premises to get something to eat or drink except for the continental breakfast, but the surrounding area has many choices.”

“Not worth the price. Econo Lodges and Rodeway Inns are better then this facility and priced more then 50% higher. Waste of money and not pleasant with the family at all.”

• Easy access to parking lot.
• Hard to locate; hard to exit.

“Sign was not prominate; could easily miss it; no ice on the first floor; not enough selection for breakfast; room was good size; TV picture wasn't that great.”

• Close to restaurants and shopping with out having to drive very far.
• The pool should be open later at least for adults until eleven pm.

“Easy to find. Rooms were clean and quiet. All in all an experience I would repeat if I come down that way again. I would highly recommend to friends and family.”

• The lady at the breakfast bar was very friendly and proficient. Excellent breakfast selection.
• Passageways reeked of stale cigarettes.

“Excellent location. Close to airport, the mall, a few restaurants. Easy access to my room from the back parking lot. Excellent breakfast bar, nice rooms. A good shampooing of the 2nd floor hallway carpet will get rid of the nauseating smell. Overall, it was an excellent choice.”

• Restaurant staff hardly around and you have to pay for breakfast.

“The hotel was nice and I was glad they had rooms available on such short notice I was on travel to work at Fort Benning, so I thought it was great that the exit to 185 South was right there. My room was nice and had all the basics. I also liked that there was an exercise room. It's a great place to stay if you just want the basics and are there to go to work everyday. However, it's not perfect. First, the cleaning people took forever to get around to clean it. They do a nice job cleaning it, but I had to wait until around mid-afternoon for it to be cleaned. I was stuck there on weekends, so I had to waste a lot of time driving around so I could wait for my room to be cleaned. Starz was the only premium channel and there weren't enough basic cable channels. To be really picky about the TV, the Weather Channel didn't even give the Columbus local forecast. The restaurant was ok, but there was never anybody there. You walk in and the sign says, "Hostess will seat you", but there is never anybody there whatsoever. You spend two hours in the restaurant because you have to constantly wait for someone to show up. At least the food ends up being pretty ok. Also, there seems to be no security. I was in the laundry room one night and some creepy guy came up to me asking me for money claiming to be staying from FEMA. I told the front desk, but I don't know if anything was done about it. So don't use the laundry room, just drop your stuff off at a wash & fold place nearby. Besides, the iron and ironing board they provide are terrible”

• Wireless high speed internet throughout hotel, including room makes for convenient working environment.
• Shower massage was old and did not work well as a shower or a massage.

“Baymont Inn And Suites Columbus, Ga was an exceptional quality for the price. Comparable to a La Quinta or a Hampton Inn, with Continental Breakfast, High speed Wireless throughout, courteous staff and convenient location for easy access to main thouroghfares. Would be a bargain in Columbus.”

• Clean, comfortable rooms
• Limited breakfast options, but not bad

“This hotel was a very pleasant surprise for the star-rating and amount paid. It was clean, the rooms were nice, and my night there was very pleasant. The worker who checked me out the next morning was extraordinarily friendly and made my morning that much better.”
