• Beautiful environment - internal and external facilities. Great service.
• Nothing.

• The staff knew how to deliver and exceptional customer experience was.
• I did not experience anything that I did not like.

• Nice access to business center and I loved that the hotel was located in the historic district of Columbia.
• See detail in #16 for problems with cleanliness, toiletries, video and final bill.

“I'm afraid this is a long list: I am a stickler about toiletry items that are supposed to be available but which were missing (shampoo one day, shower cap the next day, coffee mate and sweetener another day). It's not worth calling the front desk for and I would have had to make daily calls as it turned out! As I checked out, I mentioned that the in-room video I had rented (American Gangster) was not in sync with the voice track. At least six different times, the mouths were not moving in time to the dialogue. I was surprised when the hotel lobby employee made note of the problem but did not offer to reimburse me. This is inadequate customer service! The room had a feeling of being unclean (sticky carpet if I walked on it in my bare feet; dirty wire cage attachment of the hair dryer; very dusty/dirty wall sconces in bathroom).”

• Room decor/spacious, good restaurant.
• Desk staff not with it, room bathroom too small, poor lighting.

• Big fluffy pillows and comforter. No guest noise from my room.
• Although I was able to park in a good spot on a busy night (prom night), I would not have wanted to park in the back lot as a solo traveler.

“The staff was extremely friendly. The room was beautiful. Loved the huge fluffy pillows and down comforter. Price was good for the level of accommodation.”

• I liked the player piano in the lobby.

• Beautiful furniture and linens.
• Very thin walls. We could hear conversations going on in next room.

“Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Interesting historical building (used to be a cotton warehouse), but very well appointed. Other than thin walls, everything was wonderful.”

• Good restaurant, beautiful lobby.
• Very damp in guest rooms. No ventilation in baths.

“This a gorgeous hotel on the site of an historic brick building by the river in Columbus. We've stayed here many times. The past two stays, however, we have noticed an unusually high humidity in the guest rooms and hallways of the main hotel. There is no ventilation in the baths, and the air conditioning is not de-humidifying the air.”

• Excellent accommodations, clean rooms, location, hotel staff friendly.
• Extremely noisy night. Walls are very thin. Loud thumps and bumps through the night and awakened by a screaming child at 6 am for about an hour.

“Hotel accommodations are very nice, but the rooms are not soundproof, it can disrupt a guest stay. You don't want to hear what others are doing next door. That's why you have your own room, for peace and quiet.”

• Room was nice and clean with a view of the River
• Not very fancy

“I stayed here the night I proposed to my wife. The room was nice and clean and had a safe to lock our stuff in if we wanted. We also had a corner room that you could look out at the river through. Mind you the Hotel is NOT on the river but you can see if from the riverside rooms if you are high enough in the building. The Houlahan's Restuarant that is attached is also very nice with good food and service. If you have to stay in Columbus, you will not get a better place unless you go to one of the Bed and Breakfasts in town.”
