• The bedding!
• No vent in bathroom, no continental breakfast.

“Heard very little outside noise, never heard traffic. I like a light continental breakfast but $10 was too pricey for that. I feel it should be a perk.”

• Very nicely appointed rooms, great TV's, good public facilities (banquet rooms).
• Bathroom is very cramped.

• Very nice room, little smaller than we were expecting, but we did have plenty of room to walk around in.
• Bathroom in the room needs remodeled or something. Not bad, just needs some attention, compared the rest of the room.

“The hotel is kind of spread out, instead of up. Our room was very nice. King bed, LCD TV. Nice. Only three things against our stay was that the bathroom took away from the how nice the room was. It wasn't bad, but not nearly as nice as that room was. Tile needs redone in the shower. Thing 2 was that some of the rooms get the noise from wedding receptions. The girl at the front desk offered to move us as we were checking in, but since we had friends in the hotel, and we were going to be out late anyway, I declined. Noise was barley an issue even though the party was right outside the window. So it was to a min. Last thing. The hotel bar is kind a pricey. Specially for a bar that tries to attract outside drinkers. But it is part of the hotel, so no need to worry about the whole PI/DUI thing.”

• It was clean comfortable and safe.
• There was a party the same night we were there and people knocked on our door and yelled all night.

“This hotel was great! It did need some more vending machines. The gift shop had some snacks but they were very expensive for families. We had a great time.”

• $10 fee for internet use in room seems high considering the price to stay - most are free today.

• Nice pool.
• Bathroom was extremely small. No continental breakfast. Pool and fitness facility were far away from room.

“Bathroom could use some repair. It was really small. The heating/cooling system was really loud and didn't work very well. The pool was nice and our kids enjoyed it. The tile around the pool was really slippery though. Staff was very nice and helpful.”

• Very close to freeway and main road but proper room selection can eliminate noise.

“A good hotel for business traveler. Location is good and close to restaurants, grocery store and movie theatre. Within walking distance of Zesto, a real plus. Staff was helpful. Would be improved if offered free internet connection.”

• Regular pillows too small; double bed room had no pullout chair/couch.

• It was an older building that could use renovated in public spaces.

• No free wireless internet in the rooms. Most hotels offer this now.

• Attractive courtyard view. Red River restaurant very good.
• Nothing bad. Had to drive a reasonable distance for Downtown event. Traffic heavy during rush hours.

“Better than expected. Room very nice, 1st floor and rear hotel entrance very close. We were able to choose our room perhaps due to the day of the week. The Red River restaurant was definitely better than average hotel offerings. Amenities offered in the room were very nice.”

• Pool, Jacuzzi, lobby, garden outdoor area.
• Room a little small, I like rooms that have a table to eat at or mini fridge or mini kitchen would have made it perfect.

• It was updated and clean. The bedding was wonderful.
• The completely non-smoking feature was quite a pain in the middle of winter.

“The hotel was nice, clean and on a higher scale than some I have stayed in, but the staff wasn't nearly as accommodating and polite as they could have been. Also, later in the night, I found out that there was part of the deal I purchased that I didn't get, and no one could tell me why, nor could they give me the VIP card that was missing from my package.”

• Heated swimming pool for our kids ages 6 & 3 to play in.
• No refrigerator or microwave in the room.

“Excellent hotel overall with the exception of needing a refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. Every other amenity was to our satisfaction and the pool was a refreshing break from our busy weekend we had planned.”

• We liked all of it, I couldn't fine anything it lacked.

• Our room was decorated very nicely. The employees were friendly. They made us feel welcomed.

“We weren't able to stay the night like we would've like to, b/c of the big snow storm that was approaching. We had to check out the day we checked into go get our kids. It was a very nice hotel overall. We haven't stayed in a Marriott before, but I know we will use them in the future.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It was very clean with comfortable beds.
• The only option for a suite was one with only one bed. Two bed suites would be great for families.

“We truly enjoyed the hotel. Staff was excellent, our room was immaculate and we enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. We did not eat in the restaurant, but we did order room service and the food was very good.”

• The room was nice and warm when we walked in.
• The bathroom was tiny and the beds weren't meant for two adults.

“Right off the freeway and easy access to anywhere you want to go. Not much traffic. Clean hotel and great staff, the pool is meant for adults and children! The hotel staff answered our questions very quickly and they had these cards that give you great directions to where ever you need to go. We will be back next year.”

• Since I, flower designer I noticed the outdoor planters which were very tasteful/.
• I would have liked a free continental breakfast.

• The doors were not closeable without slamming them shut.

“This hotel was a decent hotel for the price we paid. It is an older hotel that has been recently updated. The bathroom was a bit awkward due to the location of the door. It had to be closed when taking a shower which caused the room to steam up quite a lot.”

• Comfortable beds with nice linens; reasonably quiet; good location.
• Very small bathroom; quite a hike from the parking lot to our room; not quite as deluxe as description online.

“Very nice hotel and excellent value. The first two nights we had to walk through a conference event to get to our room, which was awkward. There were no luggage carts available at that entrance. The hotel is quite large and very spread out. On the whole, not quite as deluxe as the description online, but still very nice. Right off the freeway, and a short distance to downtown fort Wayne.”

• This hotel is beautiful and a great place to stay even the stars stay here like VanZant & Styx I know for a fact I seen them.
• The second floor of the hotel doesnt have a elevator. They to keep there pop machines filled we was there 2 days and they where not filled any day.

“This is a great hotel the staff is very friendly and helpful. They will do anything to make your stay a great one just ask. The food is great! The location is great to anyplace you need to go. The coliseum, any of the restaurants, the malls and the strip mall. We stay there quite often and love it. Thanks for a great hotel and location.”

“Easy to find the hotel. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and very professional, but didn't make it clear about the availability of wireless network in the room. The room was clean and adequate, but hard to find and back next to the construction area. Check-out was easy. We left a few items in the room, called the hotel to inquire about them, but they never called me back.”

• The bed was wonderful.
• I was there for my anniversary and we had several issues with kids playing pranks in the hall.

“The room was large and the bed was wonderful, but overall I was very displeased. I have had better stays at run of the mill motels than what I had here. I will not stay here again, unless they make several changes.”

• I have no complaints.

“This hotel is one of the best I have stayed at in the upper Midwest. It's not the fanciest hotel however, it meets my needs and the front desk personnel are some of the friendliest and professional folks I have ever dealt with. I always look forward to staying at the fort Wayne Marriott.”

• Location was great.
• Not enough tables in pool area. The elevators did not work very well.

“We had a great time shopping and watching movies. We were in town for a swim meet, the location was great hotel was easy to get too just off i69. A big thank you to the staff, very fast and friendly at their job.”

• The bed was wonderful. I love that they changed mattresses.
• The way you get to the hotel. It was not easily accessible.

“I truly enjoyed my stay at the Marriott and the restaurant attached to the hotel was wonderful, however, to locate this hotel (I am not that familiar with Ft. Wayne) was quite difficult for my husband and I. My husband eventually had to go and ask another Marriott that we saw, where this hotel was. Then, the entrance to the hotel was not easily accessible. - But, I will go back, I slept so good there.”

• The location and the beds were very nice.
• We stayed at the Hilton in fort Wayne 2 weeks ago and it was far superior and we paid less. This hotel was too spread out, not good parking.

“The hotel was in a convenient location and I¿m sure if you are not traveling with small children it would be a great place to stay. There was a very nice club (bar) and steakhouse. But it was not conducive to families with kids. It was too spread out and there were loud parties and huge conferences going on while we were there. ”
