• Good location.
• Rooms weren't that nice,
  TV reception was poor.

“Hotel staff was friendly. Rooms are just OK, T.V. reception was very poor. Restaurant is elegant but limited in menu. Room service hours are too early, should be 24 hours.”

• Location is in the heart of Fort Wayne.
• The staff was rude and sullen, Not one miling face in the whole hotel.

“We arrived and loaded our own luggage cart in the rain, while the bellman watched. The registration desk was helpful if not friendly. There was not one smiling face among the staff at this hotel. Even the bartender was sullen. On checking out we were informed that all of the luggage carts were unavailable. Finally an elderly gentleman found an old rickety cart that we then had to handle with no aid from anyone. I have stayed at many Hilton hotels and almost always have had a good experience, but something was amiss at this one. It was just a pit.”

• Ordered room service -
  planked salmon was the best - service was excellent!
• In the heart of the city, just a little more challenging to navigate. The parking fee was also a surprise.

“Everything was wonderful! The bedding/pillows were plush and luxurious, immaculate housekeeping, front desk and room service personnel were top notch! We owned a restaurant and my husband is a chef - planked salmon and steamed asparagus were perfection - couldn't have done better myself!”

• Great hotel in a great location.
• Had to pay for parking and the new LCD TV was wired poorly and had a very bad picture.

“This was a very nice hotel, but they really need to look at updates. The TV would be the best place to start, as you cannot buy new LCD's, plug them into analog converters and expect good picture. Aside from that the hotel was excellent.”

• Downtown atmosphere.
• 7 dollar a day parking fee, parking inconvenient , very small bathroom!

“The convenience of location was great for us but the view was ugly and the bathroom was very low scale for the rest of the property. The tub was bad and it was very difficult to close the door as the toilet was in the way, adequate but really at a 2 star
level for the bathroom.”

• It was beautiful. I loved the Christmas decorations. The staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed taking the van to the Gas House Restaurant.
• I am not complaining. The bathroom did not appear very clean.

“As mentioned before, the hotel is just beautiful and beautifully decorated. I loved the woodwork and open stairway. The room and the pool were also very nice. We felt very pampered while we were there!”

• The beds are SO comfortable!
• No knowledgeable staff, inconvenient breakfast hours, location.

“The hotel is nice looking and in a good location for business travelers. The hotel does not seem to know how to adjust for family travelers over the holidays. We had to call repeatedly for clean towels (there were only two of us!) and for housekeeping to clean our room. Apparently if you're not showered and out of the room by 8am, you're out of luck for any type of room servicing. I would recommend this hotel if you're doing business downtown, but stay away if you're doing personal travel or if you have kids.”

“When you first walk in the door you know that you are in a high quality hotel. The staff is friendly and professional. The decor is first class and makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. Close to down town and right next door to the convention center. I would love to go back for a week!”

• The health club is phenomenal. They have theatre equipment!
• The parking garage was difficult to find and they need better signage to guide drivers.

“Nice decor, nice parking garage and the daily rate was not outrageous ($7.00 per day). The health club is fabulous with state of the art equipment. Free Wi-Fi which is a plus and great bed. Make sure you have wheels on your luggage because there is a long walk between the garage and hotel lobby.”

• Public area's are bright, staff is very professional.
• I was surprised that there was no whirlpool.

“ Check in to the Fort Wayne Hilton for some recreation and to relax and relieve some stress. I assume that there was a pool and whirlpool. I checked in about 6pm. The guest service agent was excellent. The room was bright and clean, very nice. However I was surprised to learn that there was no whirlpool. I just assumed because it is considered full service that it would have one. The pool was also closed with a signed that said that the pool was supposed to open on the day I checked in. Staff was great though! ”

“There's really nothing not to like. This is a really first-class hotel centrally located in Ft. Wayne. Parking, as at most downtown hotels, is not free, but it is cheap.”

• The location is right downtown and you feel very safe.
• There aren't a lot of restaurants right by the hotel.

“This is the fourth straight year we have visited friends in this hotel. It's very convenient. The only knock is that there aren't very many restaurants within walking distance.”

• Convenient location, very friendly staff, comfortable room and bed.
• Parking garage across the street costs extra and is required not a nice parking facility.

• Small old TV.

“Very nice hotel in a convenient location. The staff was very accommodating and the room was nice. The bathroom was small, but acceptable. The TV was an old 27" analog; we prefer flat screen. At about 4:45 the next morning, we were awaked to the continual ringing of the phone in the room next door, probably a wake up call to an empty room. Nice room for the price.”

• I liked the free internet service and the quality of the hotel/staff.
• Fitness center is a bit limited and small.

“I found the Fort Wayne Hilton to be an excellent hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel has a certain richness about it. The internet service is free and parking is available across the street for a small fee or you can park for free on the street on weekends or after 6 pm. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and well serviced. The location is right in the middle of town, so getting to the mall or other restaurants is a snap. Great stay.”

• The workout room was phenomenal!
• There is not a table in the room to eat on and the light switches to the bathroom could not just turn on the shower light.

• Very clean rooms and helpful staff.
• The only thing I did not like was the parking situation. We had to pay $8.00 a day to park in a garage across the street, this was not Chicago.

“When we attempted to rent a movie on the hotel TV it did not work and instead of making us wait the two hours while they figured out the problem with the box they moved us to another room.”

“I was very impressed with the hotel staff. The front desk attendant remembers my name from calling and requesting a non-smoking room. All staff I encountered was friendly and willing to help if I needed anything.”

• I liked the downtown location and the front desk staff was excellent!
• My room showed obvious wear. Stains on chair and carpet.

“We have stayed here several times. The location is right downtown which is close to lots of fun things to do. The staff is always very good. The hotel was not full so it was pretty quiet. The only negative of our two night stay was our room location. Right next to the elevator.”
