• The hotel was nice, the staff was nice we liked the hotel.
• Pillows were hard.

“We enjoyed to two days we were there, I had requested a first floor room, micro wave and refrigerator we got them all. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.”

• Location.
• Two floors but no elevator. Ridiculous at this price.

“This hotel is located very conveniently to I-75 and Hamilton Place Mall, lots of restaurants nearby. I personally feel that was too expensive for this hotel. It had no elevator but had two floors. Towels were rather thin however, bed was comfy with lots of pillows.”

• The bed was very comfortable and the room was large.
• There was no refrigerator in the room. Parking was limited for holiday weekend.

• Everything was clean, beds comfortable, location was great.
• Really there wasn't anything.

“This hotel had everything we needed. Easy location to interstate. Easy access to restaurants and comfortable beds with warm cozy rooms. All the staff was friendly and professional, no problem was to big for them. Will come back again.”

• Location.

“Room was decent, clean with good water pressure for shower and toilet. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of wall outlets for business traveler connectivity. Needs a mini fridge and microwave. Water did not get quite hot enough for the way I like my shower.”

• Wonderful location, friendly staff.
• No elevator. I'm going through some back issues & the stairs just about did me in.

“Very nice, the lack of an elevator was a big concern for me. I had 3 herniated discs in my lower back & found the lack of an elevator very disappointing. Otherwise an excellent hotel, I would recommend it to anyone & will return.”

• Sheets was not changed on bed. Main problem with stay.

• Fairly clean and quiet. Enjoyed using computers in front lobby.
• No elevator and there was nothing to indicate this in the star.

• Nice and clean and good sized rooms.
• Did not realize breakfast no longer included at Marriott.

“Conveniently located near Mall. Rooms were nice. Very efficient staff. Only complaint is that breakfast was not included in price. Menu said $8.95, sign said $10.95 - both prices too high for what we typically eat for breakfast.”

• It was clean and near many locations such and restaurants and the mall.
• There was no Kleenex in the room on arrival and when the maid cleaned the room she took our towels but only left us 2 towels & no extra tissue paper.

“The room was clean and roomy, but no extra mirror over the desk for getting ready. With 3 girls that was needed. The entrance to our room was strange and you could only get in thru each ends of the building. The maid didn't leave us extra towels or tissue for the bathroom. Small bathroom space. I probably would not stay again if I had to choose.”

• Very cozy. Loved outdoor gazebo and indoor hot tub.
• Located in a congested area of town, lots of traffic!

• Hair dryer didn't work but I didn't report it.

“I was extremely pleased. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was absolutely amazing! I was a little disappointed that the bar is not open on Friday and Saturday as I like a cocktail when I arrive. but that was not a huge issue.”

• Super clean room, good location.
• Hotel has no elevator for two floors.

“Displeased with no elevator. We always stay on the first floor, they were busy, so we got put on the second floor, directions to our room were not clear and we walked around for 10 minutes searching for an elevator. The cable did not work properly on this visit. The new hotel grade sheets are good but are being washed in sandpaper as to their softness.”

• Front desk staff was extremely courteous.
• Internet connection in room did not work.

“In order to use the internet connection in the room, we would have had to download software from the hotel. This is not an appropriate activity, from a computer security perspective. We did not feel comfortable downloading their software, so we were unable to access the internet.”

• No indoor pool granddaughter was greatly disappointed.

“New decor and excellent location, adjacent to mall and good restaurants. However, be forewarned that there is no indoor pool and no elevator to the second floor, thus make it not kid friendly.”

• The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very spacious and clean.
• We thought there might be a complimentary breakfast, but it was sit down type.

“We really liked the hotel. The guys at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The lobby with internet was nice to use to check our email. The room was very large and it had the BEST mattress!!! I even tried to see what brand they were so we could buy our own! The coffee maker was perfect because it made one cup at a time and only one of us drinks coffee. We hope to stay there again.”

• Breakfast didn't start until 6:30am. May business travelers get going before that.

“The hotel had an excellent location and was very clean looked new. The room was big and well laid out with very comfortable beds. Parking was plentiful but the workout facility was not very well equipped. The breakfast started too late at 6:30AM and the person staffing it wouldn't let me take a muffin to go because they weren't open.”

• The Hotel is close to the shopping mall and restaurants.

“ $50 a night I thought that was great. The buffet was great as well I spent $22 for a family of 4 you can't beat that even at a 3 star hotel. It's right by the Mall and restaurants and its only 15 mines from the Aquarium”

• Noisy!!!! No sound-proofing between adjoining rooms!!

“Although the staff was friendly and courteous and the room was comfortable and clean, I would not stay here again due to the lack of soundproofing between rooms. I heard every word spoken in the adjoining room as if it was in my room. My neighbors were not being loud, just speaking in a normal tone. I stayed up late speaking to a friend and I'm sure I kept them up. They got up early in the morning and woke me up. Overall, very unsatisfactory.”

• Helpful staff, clean, great location near mall, nice landscaping, quiet, housekeeping very helpful.
• Prefer wireless internet, but they did have very easy internet access which was free.

“Great location at wonderful Hamilton Place Mall, well-lighted, very near I-75 but not noisy, beautiful landscaping, housekeeping staff went above and beyond, delicious breakfast available on premises. The desk staff was very helpful.”

• Had difficulty arranging an hour early check-in.

“I had an overall good stay. It was difficult arranging an early check-in. I needed an hour early check-in. Prior to the trip, I tried calling twice and both time they said they could not guarantee that a room would be available an hour before usual check-in time. They told me just to show up. When I arrive, I was informed that a room was not available, but I could wait in the lobby for one. I went and parked my car. After I returned from parking, a room was available. My only complaint is trying to arrange this early check-in. The rest of the stay went smoothly.”

• Staff was all smiles, hotel exceptionally clean. breakfast was fresh unlike other hotels.
• pool was cloudy, but clean. Wireless internet would be nice.

“Excellent. I have stayed at a dozen different hotels in Chattanooga, this was by far the best. Staff very helpful, polite, smiles, and gave me the feeling they enjoyed working there. Very clean. Staff was cleaning 24 hours a day, had maintenance 24 hours a day. Great location for the airport and the mall, not close to the downtown area but right next to an interstate exit so it was a short drive (10 minutes) to the downtown area. Room had a sliding glass door to the patio by the pool, very relaxing. Landscaping was very beautiful and well kept.”

• I liked the high speed internet, hot tub, the fact they had cribs in the room upon my arrival for the little ones.

“The bed was very comfortable and soft. Everything you could possible need is located within walking distance of the hotel whether it be mall shopping, fine dining, or fast food dining. Beautiful court yard, a hot tub, and hig speed internet. Everything I needed for a quick overnight stay.”

“Poor housekeeping staff, but friendly front-desk workers who tried to make amends for all of our problems. We were given a smoking room with a king when we had called two days earlier to confirm a non-smoking room with two queens.”
