• Extremely willing to help and very courteous!
• Although courteous, the staff could have been a great deal more knowledgeable.

“The staff was not always able to answer questions about the surrounding area, but were willing and able to find the answers. My parents and their friends were staying a different hotel that did not work out. The staff at Fairfield got them a room. They also arranged cabs for us to the wedding reception we were attending and helped me get flowers delivered to my mother's room for Mother's day.”

• I called for some questions I had and I received very friendly service.
• I would have lied to have used the pool longer than the closing time that was posted.

“I was pleased with the service, the pool, exercise room and the over all appearance of the place. My family enjoyed the pool but since not getting to the hotel until late evening 11:00 PM is sometimes a short window for some travelers overall though well worth the money.”

• It was very clean, comfortable, and safe.
• Only king bed rooms were available.

“We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Traveling with a family, we needed a roll-away bed and a complimentary one was provided in a very timely manner. The continental breakfast was quite satisfactory. We would definitely stay again.”

• Clean lobby and rooms, friendly staff.
• Nothing.

“Really nice/newer hotel. The rooms were clean - the only thing we noticed was an odd smell in the hallway. The breakfast was great - make your own waffles and jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches.”

• It was in a good location, had the amenities, I wanted and accommodated my needs.
• The day shift gave me a different message about my room status than night shift.

“Hotel employees were very friendly and accommodating. I was promised a roll away bed but told none were left when I got. It was a moot point because they got a double bed room and let me keep it for the time I was there. Hotel is very clean and professional. Room cleaner even leave you a personal hand written note to make sure our stay is pleasant.”

• Helpfulness and friendliness of MOST of the staff
• Nothing but a pool for kids to occupy their time with - but we had no suits.

“I really wish hotels would have a "kid's play area" for evenings when they can't sleep. I came up for an interview and due to a cancellation from my sitter, had to bring my 3 young children. While I and my husband were searching for homes and learning the lay of Battle Creek, they unfortunately fell asleep in the car, which meant they were wide awake at 9 pm, but there was nowhere to take them to get tired again. We spent several hours each night shushing our children and trying to keep them from running around and to be quiet. To put it bluntly, it was hell, for all of us. If you only had a soundproof area for these situations, it would help everyone - other guests trying to wind down and sleep without hearing the kids, and for parents to have a place to take kids to run off some steam without disturbing anyone. It would be WONDERFUL!! Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.”

• I really liked how friendly and helpful the staff was.
• Maybe just reinforcing the rules in the pool area about kids being out at 9:00 p.m. But that was really no big deal.

“Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very nice. I would definitely consider staying there again.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area and hot tub were well maintained.
• The carpet in the room had some removable stains.

“Everything was just fine. It was completely satisfactory for the rating hotel that it is. (Meaning, wouldn't a pillow-top mattress be wonderful on EVERY hotel bed??? Only the better hotels have them.) No complaints!”

“I found this hotel to be one of the best that I have ever stayed in. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel was always immaculate. The indoor pool was not expected and added even more to my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.”

• I was only there from Midnight till 6 a.m. so didn't see too much....there was wireless internet which they said was free buy I didn't have my laptop.
• cant think of anything

“It's right off the expressway...i was only there for 6 hours but it seemed safe enough... all the rooms open to the inside and the internal doors require key passes. I would have brought my laptop if I had known they had free wireless internet....I saw a sign there saying that.”
