• The room was nice and very clean. The staff was very helpful.
• The pool was small.

• Great location. Clean room. Friendly staff.
• Parking cost $7/day.

“The hotel is situated in an ideal location in Downtown Chattanooga within walking distance of most major attractions. The room was spacious and clean. The staff helped us every step of the way and were especially helpful when we asked for directions to the local attractions. They had menus, walking and driving directions, and recommendations to every attraction we asked about. We even got a fireworks show outside our windows from ATT Field next door!”

• It was a clean, modern hotel and was located in a good spot.
• The staff did not seem to know how to do their job. Staff was polite, but clueless as to how unauthorized charges was added to my bill.

“The hotel is located in great area of downtown. It is very accessible to the Free Electric Shuttle and only a block from the main tourist area of downtown. The staff was friendly, but seemed to lack hotel management and operations experience.”

“The hotel was well up to our expectations. Our suite had everything we needed and the staff was friendly and courteous. Also, right next store to the IMAX, across the street from the Tennessee Aquarium and multi-plex. Convenient to all the downtown Chattanooga amenities.”

• Location is great and we stayed here before so we new what we were getting.
• The rate was almost double what we paid a year earlier for the same room even with your prices.

• Location and on site parking is great. Service is great.
• Furnishings a little worn, but clean and/or polished.

“My recent two night stay was excellent. Location is great with on-site parking and within walking distance to major attractions in the downtown area. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning. The hotel was clean and security was not an issue which is very important to me. I will certainly return to this hotel again.”

• It was Downtown where I wanted to be.
• A bit noisy - from the outside traffic.

• Staff was extremely helpful with locations and free admission tickets.
• No smoking rooms.

“When I asked if we could check in about 7 hours early, they said, "no problem". When I asked about a good seafood restaurant in the area, they told me where, within walking distance and a 10% off coupon. When I asked about where the Zoo was, they printed out directions for me and gave me two free passes! I was beyond satisfied with this hotel! The complimentary hot breakfast bar was excellent! The hotel was very clean and the staff always said hello, as we passed them. I would most definitely recommend!”

• Closeness to everything.
• Not enough trash cans and there was 1 and it was very small.

“We had a great time at Residence Inn. It had a late check in time but it turned out ok we were able to go do and then come back to check in and swim. My Kids Loved It! We will be back!”

• The kitchen in room and cordial/friendly staff member.
• The bed was not that comfortable. We've slept on better mattresses in other hotels.

“The location was wonderful. David, at the front desk was very helpful. It was generally clean. The buffet was excellent and we had a great visit!”

• We enjoyed the attention to details that make staying in a hotel much more pleasurable.
• The only complaint would be that the hotel charged the bill to us although.

“It was a very comfortable hotel for families on vacation or business travelers. We were happy with the attention to details such as towels in the pool area, pool hours, a stocked kitchen, and a variety of choices at the breakfast buffet.”

• Very, very friendly check-in. Staff provided discount coupon for excellent nearby (walking distance) dining. Great location.
• Brief problem with internet access. Night staff didn't have a clue, but I figured it out.

“Friendly staff and a great location near river, restaurants, aquarium, museum and art district. Clean, comfortable room. We wished that our schedule had allowed for a stay of more than the one night. Would definitely recommend, and we hope to stay there again sometime.”

• It was in walking distance of the Aquarium and Downtown area.
• Reception should have been more understanding with early check in times, if rooms were available.

“The main reason why I return to the Marriott was because of the excellent location. My first choice was Court Yard, right across the street because the offer lower prices; but the were booked one week in advance of my trip. Thanks. EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR AQUARIUM, IMAX, SHOPPING, EATING, DOWNTOWN AREA, ETC”

• AMAZING location- next to river front, aquarium, and restaurants. Spacious room with kitchen and separate bedroom!
• Nothing bad to say.

“Extremely happy with this hotel! The location in the heart of the new downtown development, right next to the famous aquarium, IMAX, and places to eat and the river front. Hot breakfast included as well as afternoon drinks and Wed. night dinners. Extremely friendly staff. Only $5 parking. ”

“Everything at the hotel was great. The staff were very kind. The only problem was the bottom sheet on the bed was too small and would not stay tucked in under the mattress.”

“It was my first experience staying at a Residence Inn, I remember thinking, "Why in the world is the elevator located so for away from the front desk/entry." Then it clicked, this is a Residence Inn, all the rooms are suite-like for that home feel. There were many doors in which to enter/exit to ensure you do not have to past the front desk as you enter "home." I felt the Residence Inn was my home a way from home during my three-night stay. The staff was awesome, laid back, just friendly (very good vibe). Loved the breakfast!! Thanks Residence Inn Chattanooga!”
