Nikki from Huntsville, AL
“This hotel needs a welcome book that details the hotel and its services, what is free what is not (like breakfast). Some pillows need to be a little firmer. The microwave was so low to the ground it was a toy for our 2 year old. The valet was exceptional and very helpful. Hurry with the renovations, we were counting on a pool and did not have one.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Denis from Blairsville, GA
“No freebies here, no complimentary continental breakfast here, you need to pay for parking if you drive.” Aug 3, 2008 by
Robert from Evansville, IN
“Overall the hotel was a convenient location to every thing in town. It was clean and nicely remodeled the room was a bit cramped for the size it was with the furniture in it.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Mark from Nashville, TN
“The clarion is undergoing renovations and there is extensive construction work outside the hotel. The older rooms have the firm beds, window AC units, and have the space of a motel room. The coffee cups are restaurant grade ceramic mugs as well as glass drinking glasses. The hotel is trying to be green with the reusable glassware and towel policy of asking guests to reuse clean towels. The little touches are upscale where as the basics such as TV, lighting, and beds are still a bit on the economy side.” Aug 20, 2007 by
Linda from Las Cruces, NM
“This hotel is currently being renovated but can be considered a good value. Located in downtown Chattanooga, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant and fitness facility are currently not open.” Jul 26, 2007 by
Trudie from Gadsden, AL
“Wonderful location. Rates good. Staff at the front desk friendly. However, the cleaning staff I encountered wasn't so friendly (maybe having a bad day). I believe that after the renovation it will be a very nice hotel.” Jul 23, 2007 by
Ryan from Decatur, GA
“Upon check in I was put in a smoking room, which I did not request. I asked to be moved to another room & was checked into a room that was already occupied by another guest. When I did finally get my room the sheets were dirty & the room was very muggy. The hotel was also undergoing major construction. This was extremely inconvenient as there were always construction workers using the elevators, and tracking dirt & drywall through the building. Not to mention waking up to the banging of hammers. Lastly, the parking lot was around the back of the hotel and the walkways were blocked by dumpsters.” Jun 25, 2007 by
Rosalind from Selma, AL
“Close to attractions restaurants. Everything within walking distance. Friendly helpful staff. especially the housekeeping staff. Renovations were going on, can't wait to come back and see the improvements.” Apr 12, 2007 by
Rocky from Marietta, GA
“Good location and price but they need to complete the renovations that they have scheduled.” Jan 12, 2007 by
John from Quebeck, TN
“Room was ok, and it's located to several attractions and eating establishments, they charge for parking, but no parking garage and it's not closely located to any of the hotel entrances. Staff was friendly, but did not see any continental breakfast as advertised.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 20, 2006 by

“The hotel is in a very good location to UTC. There is also a very good restaurant for breakfast just down the street. The air in the rooms was cool but the halls were quite warm. Desk services were very helpful with getting around Chattanooga directions.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jul 6, 2006 by

“This hotel was in a great location, but was not anything special. It was priced a little high.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jun 23, 2006 by

“Newer hotel in a convenient location. Slightly perturbed that, upon checkout, the rate on the bill was lower than what I had already paid and the staff would not change to the lower rate, although a phone call directly to the hotel had informed me of a much higher room rate.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 11, 2006 by

“Upon check in the clerk said he needed my credit card for any incidentals. The morning of the day of checkout they put a receipt of payment under my door. I brought it to the desk and the clerk told me " Oh no, we did not charge you, we were just showing you what it would look like if we had billed you." When we returned home I checked my account to see that indeed they did debit my account the $74. I called them and they said it would take 3 days to credit my account. So basically I have paid for the room twice. The thing that disappointed the most was the fact the hotel charged me $74.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Apr 9, 2006 by

“The location is great. But if you're staying downtown to avoid a parking garage, be warned: this hotel charges $7 daily for parking. And the parking lot (not a garage, as I would expect for this amount) is not convenient to the hotel entrance. At the unloading area, there's a valet stationed at the ready. I was never clear on what his/her job was. The fitness room is typical hotel fare. USA Today's are available at the front desk (not left at your door) each morning, but they were all gone by 9:00 a.m. We also had to switch rooms less than a half hour after unpacking: our bathroom water wasn't working. When we spoke with the front desk, the attendant was actually aware of the problem, but left us to discover the problem ourselves. I would not necessarily call it an unpleasant experience, but I expected better considering what we paid.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
