• Hot tub! Lots of pillows! Friendly staff.
• Indoor pool temperature - too cold for winter.

“This is a basic hotel not a lot of frills, but clean and comfortable. We particularly chose it for the indoor pool and hot tub, but the pool wasn't inviting (water level a little low, temperature kept too cold for winter swimming). The breakfast was basic but good, pleasant breakfast room. I liked their environmental attitude (leave this card on the bed and we will make up the bed but not change the sheets) but if they want you to re-use towels, they need to provide more towel racks (a problem that is very usual for any motel/hotel at any price). I definitely would recommend this hotel as a family-friendly place.”

• Nice pool area.
• The total lack of concern displayed by the front desk operator during my check out.

“I travel to Huntington fairly often to visit family in the area. This was my first and it will be my last stay at the Vista as long as I can find a room elsewhere.”

• The lobby staff was helpful.
• The floor in the bedroom was not vacuumed.

“For a two star hotel, this wasn't bad. But the room didn't seem super clean, and I wasn't crazy about the mirrors surrounding the Jacuzzi.”

• Somewhat hard to find.

“Located in downtown Huntington and somewhat hard to locate. I called the hotel; however, the person at the desk was very helpful with directions.”

• It was easy to find and there was a lot of selection in the area for dining and shopping.
• It could use some outdoor seating area.

“It was a great stay. The kids were able to swim and enjoyed the continental breakfast. The desk clerks were nice and always willing to help.”

• Hard to find & road to hotel never was plowed.

“The hotel was ok. It was more of an economy setting. The road to the hotel never was plowed and the parking lot was also very poorly plowed. When I checked in I was given a smoking room that I did not request. Overall, not the best experience I have ever had!”
