• The street locaton and friendly staff.
• Noisy above until late at night, slamming doors loud footsteps running water.

“Old everything was about 35 yrs old continental breakfast was served in the front lobby on a counter on small tables, the faucets in the rooms were dirty needed to be taken apart and cleaned.”

• The pool and hot tub.
• Very thin walls - could hear people in hallways, beds were uncomfortable.

“It was clean and quiet but could use alittle more room per saye but was alittle to pricy I think . But I guess for the season is short and they must chg.We went to Petoskey and stayed at the apple tree motel for lee money and a better location and better annemities. vic”

• The staff was nice. However, it wasn't as good as our last hotel.
• Small bathroom with sink in hall. Walls thin, loud families. No adult swim time.

“I was disappointed because I expected something a little better than the previous hotel I stayed at in Petoskey. It cost more but was smaller, I didn't like the bathroom, too small. I didn't like the sink in the room.”

• We had mixed results with the front desk staff person, one was very helpful, and the others were not.
• Loud, ended up with a handicapped room, that the bathroom was the main entry point.

“This hotel is located across a busy highway from Lake Michigan. It is in the east end of the bay along with many other hotels; chains and local hotels. The walls were very thin, carpet was dirty and the halls looked overused. The pillows were very thin. The pool in the pictures is much larger than the real pool, where they took out about half the pool, put in walls and created a large hot tub. We got very little sleep as our neighbors returned after 2:30am, making lots of noise. The showers are very confusing, so the result was a cold to lukewarm showers by all. This was particularly disappointing after a week of rustic camping on South Manitou Island, where there was no running water, but lots of wonderful quiet and beautiful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!”

• Rooms and hallways are getting close to needing remolding.

• The rooms were very muggy, you could not open the windows.

“This hotel would have been great if you could open the windows in your room. Price Line- I will never book a room through you unless I am naming my own price. Your cancellation policy is terrible, especially when I can book the hotel directly and the same cost as going through you and cancel at NO COST if needed.”

• Smoking room hallways smell awful, very musty.
