“Our room was very clean and comfortable. I felt able to relax and not worry if something had not been cleaned. The hotel staff was very friendly.”

• Nice area to shop.
• I don't like the idea of pets being allowed under any circumstance. They are animals.

• The staff and management were very friendly.

• Room layout, cleanliness, staff friendliness. Staff handled sprinkler explosion disaster exceptionally well.
• Everything was good.

“Great room design. Quiet heating and air conditioning unit. Good carpeting. Comfortable bed. Roll in bed was comfortable. Bed sheets and bed spread very good quality. Excellent bathroom humidity control by exhaust fan. Excellent support of hotel staff to shift residents to nearby sister hotel for food and exercise during sprinkler explosion disaster in common areas.”

• The decor was pleasing and fit the room.
• Sausage was not served every day for breakfast.

“I felt the value was good for the money. The staff seemed eager to help you. The breakfast spread was diverse enough that you could choose something different each day. Residence Inn will be the first place when looking for a place to room.”

• Large, quiet room with comfortable bed.

“The hotel offers big rooms with kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, and comfortable beds. The room was very quiet. It is great for business travelers.”

• The staff, room and breakfast were very good.
• The window in our room had a leak and it rained during our stay.

“The staff was friendly, the room was clean, well appointed, and breakfast was very good. It rained overnight during our stay and we discovered a leak in the window and notified the front desk. I give this hotel an excellent recommendation and will definitely consider staying there again.”

• Distance from airport more than expected.

“Very clean and friendly. Many places to eat within walking distance. Great breakfast with a lot of choices. Nice warm pool and hot tub area. A bit out of the way. On far northeast side of town 19 miles from airport but easy drive.”

• The breakfast area let you get something to drink 24 hours a day.
• The pregnant woman that checked me in was not friendly at all.

“The hotel is very nicely laid out. The pool and area around it was very clean. Same for the Jacuzzi although the walkway area probably needed cleaning around it at the end of the day. I was put into a handicapped room as they were running low on total rooms available. The Ethernet cable to get me on the Internet was on the floor instead of the table and once I found it, the clip that was to hold it in place inside the computer was broken off. They were prompt and polite about bringing me another one. I would have stayed longer but due to the storm, checked out before midnight in order to get home to my dog (I live in the same city as this hotel). Was surprised they wanted $100 extra for me to bring my dog with me.”

• Uncomfortable pillows-felt as if I my head was on the mattes instead of the pillow because it sank to the mattes.

“Residence Inn is conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. The hotel is very clean; the rooms are quite spacious; the employees deliver good service; and the breakfast is plentiful. My husband and I were pleased with the quality we received at Residence Inn.”

• The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our suite was very nice.
• Had trouble finding it. We had to search within a 3 block area for 10 minutes.

“We were impressed with the Residence Inn NE's attention to detail. Our room was not just functional. It had many extras in the way of decoration (very nice bed covering) and they even gave us popcorn for the microwave and a truly fully furnished kitchen. The included breakfast was more than you could want, even bountiful fresh fruit and homemade waffles. Our hotel was 3 times as nice as the wedding party had and they paid $40.00 more.”

• Bedroom separate from TV and kitchen area is a definite plus.
• Hard to have a negative.... sausage or bacon might have been good with the breakfast.

“I was extremely pleased with the hotel, the staff was friendly, the facilities nice, including the pool, workout, & hot tub area. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding with hot selections, waffles, eggs, fresh fruit and yogurt in addition to the standard continental fare. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to others.”

“Very unhappy with the night staff, as when we called for directions, he was unable to help and said he would call us back but never did. At 2:00 in the morning, we were not happy to wander around Louisville trying to find the hotel. The web directions were completely wrong and had us looking for the hotel about 1-1/2 miles away from where it actually was. There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door, and the breakfast area was out of food, understaffed and had insufficient facilities. The day staff apologized, but that was not a satisfactory solution.”

“This hotel went way beyond our expectations. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the first room we took our luggage to was not cleaned and we had to go get another room.”

• Very minor; need to use fabric softener on towels.

“Basically, everything about our stay was "top notch" and extremely pleasant. We have stayed at other places that cost us five to eight times more than we paid for the Residence Inn that were not as enjoyable as here.”

• Queen size bed, not King

“The hotel was nice with a friendly staff. Very clean. The Queen size bed was HARD. I wanted either a King or two doubles, but I got a Queen and could not change. They did give us a nice Derby package with glasses one day. I liked the daily newspaper at our door.”

• The staff was VERY friendly and hotel excellent - great price too!
• Difficult to find. The map directions were difficult - a sign at the intersection would be helpful
