• Very friendly staff, convenient self check-in/out kiosk.
• Patrons in nearby rooms were loud until late into the night.

“The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway and is easily accessible. The staff were friendly, and very welcoming. The accommodations were very comfortable, with an excellent environment for business travelers (computer desk, sufficient electrical outlets, excellent lighting).”

• Loved the layout of the rooms, great big space for kids.
• Heater/air conditioner was way too loud.

“Enjoyed the contemporary look and feel in the lobby, much different that the norm. Felt like it was very expensive. I also liked the low key check in area. That was not the norm either and felt very comfortable with the staff. Really enjoyed the employees, very willing and able to help. Multi-taskers are very valuable.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff.
• Location was quite far from the airport, no sign on the interstate, and hard to take a left turn out of hotel.

• The hotel was very contemporary throughout its facilities.
• Could be a bit darker in the rooms. Light crept in on the bottom of the window curtains.

“The hotel staff was extremely welcoming from the moment we walked into the building. They were well groomed and represented the contemporary image the hotel aims to achieve. They were professional, yet extremely personable. The service area comes complete with snacks and food made to order. The breakfast accommodations surpass anything else in the Louisville area. Gym looked worthy of its name. The pool area was enticing. We wanted to take advantage of all amenities they had to offer, but would have to stay there for more than a night in order to do so. Our purpose was just to getaway and rest. We have highly recommended this hotel to our friends, and we will recommend it to anyone else.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were exceptionally comfortable.
• I do wish it had an indoor pool. It was too hot to be out in the sun.

“The room was exceptionally comfortable, especially the beds, and very quiet. I traveled with my daughter and her son and we drove all night from PA to KY. We had no problem sleeping until noon. As we were looking for housing in the Louisville area the staff was very helpful in giving us directions and recommendations of restaurants and areas. They even made chocolate milk for my grandson when they didn't carry that in the cafe!”

• New design and decor! Classy! Updated!
• Horrible bed. Uncomfortable and dipping in center.

“Hyatt Place in Louisville, KY was actually decorated and outfitted nicer than most 3* hotels we have stayed in across the Nation. Lobby was warm, friendly customer service abounded. The rooms were newly designed suites, granite countertops, refrigerators, bar sink separate from bath sink. The restroom was average and about a 1.5* level. New bedding and a very large new flat screen TV, sectional couch and comfortable pillows. The beds however decorated very classy, were older and uncomfortable to say the least. We had a bad night sleep. The continental buffet was nice, clean, offering toast, bagels, yogurts, juice and coffee and tea, cereals and fresh fruit. The hotel had conference rooms, an exercise room and cleans outside pool. We would be happy to stay here again!”

• No pop machines or vending machines on floors.

“They gave us first a room with people already in it. Then the second room the bathroom wasn't cleaned and no soap or shampoo. Toilet had feces on it. The third room was Ok. Till I went and washed my hair! Shampoo was great, the conditioner was lotion. There wasn't any left. So I thought it was conditioner. The day manager did say sorry and the night manager too!”

• One staff member a little short tempered when computer messed us.

• The bathroom is small.

“This is our favorite hotel. It is great for kids in my opinion. We have small children and the dividing wall allows us to have two rooms. The children sleep on fold out sofa while we sleep on a wonderful king sized bed! Most hotel rooms are too small for a family of five. When my youngest son was still in a crib, we stayed in a hotel and there was NO room for a playpen at all, it wouldn't fit. In the rooms at this hotel the playpen fit fine with plenty of space left over. We could put the kids to bed and sit up and watch TV for a while and relax.”

• Comfortable, good bed, great TV and good breakfast.
• They put us in a handi-capped accessible room and we are not handicapped. No bathroom vanity.

“We were given a handicapped room and we are not handicapped. The bathroom had a roll-up-to sink and no vanity, no where for makeup with a sink. The room itself was nice and clean. i love this motel, but they stuck us in this room I believe, because we spent less for it. I did not complain to them because I did not want to get upset. The next time I will!”

“I got extremely sick and could not go, so never stayed. I contacted the hotel to try to see if they could not let me stay another time, as they clearly saw that I was not going to be occupying a room. The hotel said they would call me back and never did. It is just disappointing when I am a return customer, something happens out of my control, and there is nothing I can do. I guess I knew the risk, but it stinks.”

• It was a very comfortable, clean bed with comfortable pillows.
• Bathroom is extremely tight, but with the comfort of the rest of the stay, you could deal with it.

“It was such a clean room. The TV was awesome. The bed smelled clean. It had a feather comforter and we had 5 feather pillows on our bed. Also very comfortable. Wonderful stay.”
