• Staff was exceptionally pleasant, room was clean, bed was comfortable.
• Can't think of a thing!

“I was concerned after reading some of the comments, but have to tell you it was a wonderful stay. From check in to check out, the experience was great. The staff was trained well and very warm and friendly. The place was spotlessly clean and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again.”

• The swimming pool and hot tub.
• Throughout our whole stay the leftover food from room service was left outside the room next door in the hallway.

• Would like access to computer in business area at no charge for map quest.

• I did not have to stay very long.
• Staff was unpleasant, and unhelpful. No bellboy available. Food, and servers were terrible.

“There is not anything nice to say about this hotel. The establishment was old and poorly staffed and managed. I have stayed at other nice Marriott properties, I know it is not up to standard. This property should be shut down and redone completely with new staff.”

• Great location.
• The bed was horrible!

“Overall, the hotel was quite nice. Beautiful lobby, nice indoor pool, and in a great centralized location. Our only issue was that the employees in the restaurant were slightly rude and acted as if we were an inconvenience rather than a customer. Also, the bed was awful. Neither my husband nor I could sleep. We travel a lot and most hotels of this caliber are upgrading their mattresses- this location definitely should! The lines and pillows were fine just the mattress!”

• It was very clean and the bed was great, it was so soft.
• I didn't like the food from room service.

“The hotel was clean and amazing looking because of the huge window over the pool but the food was not good. The bed was so comfortable and the weekend rates were reasonable.”

• The staff was very helpful and the accommodations were very comfortable. What I would expect for a 3 star rating. I especially enjoyed the bed linen.
• Nothing really to speak of.

• When the discovered it was our 50th wedding anniversary they upgraded our room to the concierge level and sent us a gift basket.
• Can't.

“Good location. Staff friendly. Great room. The room service was prompt, food very good, excellent buffet on Easter Sunday. Prices reasonable. We hope to return for another visit.”

• Parking safe and free, kids enjoyed the pool, easy access to freeway.
• No alarms sounded for tornado warning! We knew because we were watching TV.

“Very clean, rooms not spacious but comfortable. On site dining for family expensive but other eating options within walking distance or very short drive. Pool area very nice. Attendant on duty was helpful and friendly.”

• I enjoyed the spaciousness of the king size room, as well as the nice amenities.
• I HATE to pay for Internet access. This should be FREE!!!

“This is a classic Marriott property. The room was very comfortable and nicely appointed. The only negative in my whole trip was having to pay $9.99 to access the Internet I think this is a big rip-off!!! The room service breakfast was on-time and served warm - and it was reasonably priced!!!”

• The architecture, layout and overall spotless nature of this hotel were awesome.
• The $10 charge for high speed internet access seemed high, but consistent with other Marriott hotels.

“It's a shame that this hotel is located away from the tourist areas of Louisville. It's a showcase and a beautiful hotel. It's located in what's clearly a business travel area, but very convenient to the interstate highways. Our room was spotless, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the service was excellent.”

• location, parking lot well lighted, attractive lobby.
• Room and hallway need a good, thorough cleaning.

“I am a Marriott rewards member and frequently stay at Marriott hotels. This particular facility was conveniently located and had an attractive lobby. The hallway on the floor that I was staying on was very bare; it had the look of being vacated. There was no furniture in the area near the elevator except for one small mirror on the wall. Throughout the hallway were trays from room service that had not been picked up. Finally at some point the trays were picked up and silverware remained throughout the hallway the remainder of my stay. The entertainment center in the room was damaged and that allowed the television to keep sliding out of the unit and nearly fell off of the shelf it was on. That was a potentially dangerous situation. I am a Marriott fan, but would have to have an extremely low rate to stay at this location again.”

• Great resort type hotel with a fantastic pool and a wonderful bed. We highly recommend!
• A little off the beaten path...

“This hotel as most Marriotts generally meet our needs and usually win. The pool, fitness, room service and food service were very good. The hotel is very well maintained.”
