• The hotel was okay.
• I could not process my credit card transactions with the telephone line in this hotel. It was not a hotel for a lap top in the room.

“The hotel was okay. It usually is not the kind of hotel I go for. There was a soccer tournament in the area and the hotel was overflowing with kids. I tried to get breakfast - the continental- but there was no where to sit and a line as long as the lobby. I do understand that that happens.”

• Pillow were plentiful and wonderful!
• The heating/cooling fan came on and off all night long, which kept me awake.

“The constant loud noise the cooling fan made when it went on and off during the night was terrible. Other than that, it was a great experience.”

• Very clean. Spacious suite room. Good value for TC in summertime.
• Ceiling light fixture was loose and hanging down.

“I was pleased with the price. It was a fair value for Traverse City in the summer tourist season. Very spacious suite. Room was clean. Continental breakfast was nothing spectacular but everything seemed fresh. I've stayed here many times and have never had a bad experience.”

• It was clean, warm and friendly. I was not expecting the accommodations to be as nice as they were. We were pleasantly surprised. Very nice hotel.
• The hotel is very nice for the price. We had no complaints.

“Overall, this hotel is a 2.5 star facility. I expected it to be a little used and abused being it is in a resort town, but they seem to be keeping it up very nicely. We had a very nice stay and would stay there again.”

• Water temperature in shower fluctuated too much, almost scalded.

“We went to Traverse City spur of the moment during Cherry festival. The hotel staff went over and above to give us the scoop about Cherry Festival, it was our first time, explained back routes for parking and best seats to see the concerts.”

• Staff was courteous, brought us an iron, found a room for early check in and let us checks out an hour late.
• The foam mattress topper made me so hot I couldnt sleep, had to sleep on top of the comforter.

“I enjoyed using the workout room, but I ran out of time to swim due to work. The room was very clean, and the staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was as nice as a Hampton Inn (very good). I felt very satisfied!”

• The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
• The fitness equipment was old and one piece didn't work at all.

“It was what I would call a tourist hotel. The staff was very good to me and got the power back on right away when the room next store had blown a fuse (that room was on the same circuit as my room). The hotel staff was the reason my stay was enjoyable.”

• We loved the central location of this property.
• Staff not too friendly. Children running throughout the halls.

“The central location for this property was ideal. This is a beautiful town. However, the rooms are a bit dated, we had to call down to the front desk to complain of the nose in the hallway from other guests. I will seek out another property when we return this summer.”

• Great Location, rooms were nice, pool was excellent, hot tub was awesome!
• Our room was a long walk to anything, the pool, the front desk, breakfast, it was to spread out.

“They were Packed full of groups of families there for sporting events the kids ran wild, the parents drank while the kids ran wild, The desk person on second shift worked overtime trying to keep things in line, overall it was a nice stay, but being so busy they were not prepared for that many people for the breakfast, people were standing to eat and they couldn't keep up with the food, ran out of many things on Sunday.”

• The staff was great and the cleaning service went above and behind their job! They were great!
• The pool was a bit cloudy and the pool room smelled very bad of chlorine.

“This has been a wonderful stay! I traveled with 3 young children and to say the least the hotel was great. I especially like the breakfast they served as it saved me a lot of money! And I just can't say enough about how nice the staff was! Great place to stay I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area! Keep up the great work!”

• There were wild children at the pool and the staff did not seem to care.

“The hotel was just what we expected. But there were some kids and a mom at the pool throwing wet balls at each other and of course the balls landed everywhere. They were running, screaming and just acting wild. These children were disrupting everyone at the pool. I saw people arrive at the pool and see what was going on and left the pool area. I reported to the person at the front desk, I started to tell him about it and he cut me off, looked at the screen of some sort and said he would take care of the problem. I waited and waited, after 15 minutes; I gave up and went back to my room. I really wanted to enjoy the spa area of the pool and the person at the front should have done something.”

• It was inexpensive and they even upgraded our room to the executive suite for a low price!
• This hotel is excellent.

“I was able to upgrade to the executive suite with a Jacuzzi and a small kitchen and an extra bedroom for a very low price. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Very clean comfortable room. The pool was warm and inviting. Great location and friendly staff.
• There were a few ants by the hot tub in the pool area.

“The best thing about this days inn is the adults only pool time from 10:30 12. What a perfect set up for a romantic get away. It combines family friendly with a nice place for adult couples to stay as well.”

• Staff was professional and friendly; pool spa area very nice.
• Room had a horrible smell and we had to move out.

“The room we received was awful. Smell was overwhelming. Staff tried to correct but It got worse. Could not keep wireless Internet signal from the room received. Had to be moved to another room & they wanted to charge more. It was Identical, just on the second floor and didnt smell as bad. Still had heavy layer of dirt on air conditioning unit though. Staff was friendly and professional, they were the reason we didnt demand a refund. Pool and hot tub area were very nice. Beds were comfortable.”

• Very spacious rooms, nice pool.
• Ants in room, but moved to another with no hassle.

“These units are about 15 years old and are nicely maintained. The executive suites for business or families include pull down beds, dining/living area, hot tubs, and fireplaces. Regular rooms are nicely sized without the feeling of being cramped. The pool area is very inviting, computer rooms are provided, and a workout room too. A continental breakfast includes all the usual cereals and sweet rolls. Location is easy to get to and close to main roads to malls and beaches.”

• We enjoyed the whirlpool and swimming pool which were open until midnight.
• The hostess for breakfast was not pleasant; area was crowded.

“We basically enjoyed our stay and had a very good night's rest. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. The hotel was located well for area attractions. The 11:00 am checkout rushed us a bit.”

• The living area had no windows at all. No light at any time of day.

“The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. It needs some updating, though we could smell smoke on our clothes when we got back. There are no windows in the living room of the suite! This is very bad for a place that welcomes summer vacationers. It's depressing. It's very spacious, however, and a suite can indeed sleep six people!”

• Someone from staff called our room within minutes to make sure we were completely happy with everything in room.
• We can not find anything that we did not like.

“We were so completely happy with the hotel experience. We have been to a few hotels that we were not happy with and let the staff (front desk) know it. We are not afraid to voice when we are not happy. We were completely happy with our stay at this hotel and will stay again in the future.”

• The person @ the front desk was friendly and helpful.
• Our room was next to the service room where housekeeping came in early before 7:00am. So, we could hear the washer and dryer going.

“We enjoyed our stay! When we got to the hotel, we were greeted by someone who was very helpful and pleasant. We asked for an upgrade because it was my husband's B-day and we wanted more of a romantic ambiance and we were given an upgrade! This was available to us with no problems! The continental breakfast was great! They provided a lot more then what we had anticipated for the continental breakfast. One of the major reasons we picked this hotel was because they had an indoor pool that our little one could enjoy as well as ourselves. The pool was clean and ambiance was good. Our room was great because we ended up with a room that had a fireplace and Jacuzzi in our room and in the living room area it had a separate bed for my little one. It was nice! My husband, my little one and I enjoyed our stay @ Days Inn. We were happily surprised! Only bad thing was our room was right by housekeeping:( But besides that, everything was GREAT)!”

• Security office was more concerned with adults having a beer by the pool and not the unruly children in the pool area.

“Desk staff very helpful. Room clean . The only issue is the pool area rules for adults are ridiculous If I have a non glass beverage in the pool area I should not feel threatened by security. I would understand if there is a problem but myself and the other adult occupants were not being unruly. We were all relaxing after a long day of traveling and were not unruly. This was an obsessed security officer.”

“Typical Days Inn. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would appreciate more standard in-room amenities i.e. hand lotion, conditioner, etc. (but the coffee maker was great). Beds good. Hotel old.”
