• The beds were very comfortable and the pool was clean.
• The manager charged me extra when confirming 2 beds.

“The manager charged me extra for 2 double beds rather than a king. Very sneaky, underhanded, and down-right shameful. He put us in a room with a leaky faucet next to the stairwell.”

• Nice hotel for the price. Wasn't expecting much and ended up being a great night stay.
• We didn't spend much time in the hotel so not alot to not like.

“This hotel was a good place for us to sleep while visiting our family in Louisville. The breakfast bar offered minimal food and the room was small. The room was adequate with barest essentials.”

• Very friendly staff.

“Our room was a little small but it was sufficient for our trip since we were not in our room very much. We basically just slept there. We were in Louisville, KY for a basketball tournament. (We travel there about 2-3 times per year.) On this trip, we had a teammate that had a family emergency (grandma had a stroke). We ended up caring for the little boy for the weekend. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and understanding. They provided us with a roll away bed for the child. He was very excited about the bed! He said it was so comfortable! I know that it meant a lot to him especially since he was away from his family and worried about grandma!”

• Location.
• Very noisy at night from upstairs, bed was not very comfortable.

“The room was very noisy at night. I was not sure why, but the entire night it seemed like there were people running upstairs. I did not know if the elevator, ice maker etc. was close to our room. I will not go back to this hotel for this reason.”

• It was clean, neat, up to date decor, did not smell like smoke.
• I was traveling alone with an infant in my arms; no offer of help was given to me with my luggage.

“This hotel met my expectations. Good rate, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great for a short stay. The bathroom was small but very adequate for needs. I will use this hotel on my next stay to Louisville.”

• They listed breakfast with eggs, biscuits, etc as amenities, but they did not actually provide that for breakfast.

• The bed was comfortable.
• Spiders in room, too many kids running up and down halls all through night.

“Baymont Inn is better than some of the hotels I have stayed at this summer in Kentucky but not worth the price. The rooms are rather small hardly any space to move around if there are more than two people in a room. Was told executive suites had Jacuzzi tubs and they don't, there were spiders in the room and when you told the hotel staff they shrugged it off. This hotel is good for someone that doesn't really want to relax in a quiet atmosphere. There are kids running up and down the halls all night long. The pool is very small and the ice machines didn't work the entire time we were there. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes after you use your key card for the elevator to come down for you to even get to your rooms. I personally wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone that wants anything more than a comfortable bed to sleep in if you can get past the spiders.”

“Hotel is run down and in need of updating. Outside entrances. Little noise filtration. Dark and worn amenities. Tiny and worn bathroom. Towels worn and cheap. Loud A/C unit. Do not recommend and will not stay there again.”

• It was comfortable and close to the concert we were going to see.
• I reserved a room with a Jacuzzi tub, but our room did not have one!

“It was comfortable for as little time as we spent there. I would have preferred the room I reserved with the Jacuzzi tub; our room however did not have one! I was upset about that however, but my husband told me not to worry about it.”

“Upon check in, I was greeted by both the ladies at the front desk. Both extremely helpful and familiar with the area. They asked if I needed directions to where my meetings were being held and suggested a quicker route to where I was going. Also recommended a few dining options and a couple of local pubs. Great service. The rooms were a bit small and had an odd smell, not dirty or bad smelling, just odd? The rooms have free wifi internet service which was something that I didn't expect but came in handy. On my next trip to Louisville, I will again stay with this hotel.”

• It was clean and nice!
• There was not an option for a kitchenette, and I would have liked a micro fridge.

“This hotel was wonderful! We had stayed in other hotels in Louisville of the same rating and had not been satisfied. This hotel was clean and respectable. It had a fairly homey atmosphere and the room was wonderful. A bit on the "cozy" side of things, but very nice! I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice and fairly cheap place to stay that does not reach of crime or make you fear for your life.”

“I liked the hotel overall. I wasn't sure about the doors being on the outside but having to use your door swipe to get to the 2nd level made me feel better. The rooms were big and comfy but the bathroom was small. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!”

“I was quite surprised to see the wonderful quality of this hotel. The quality way out weighted the price I paid!! It's very clean, well kept with modern furnishings and beddings. The quality of this hotel is very competitive with the 3+ star hotels and is a lot better than a lot of the 4+ star hotels I've stayed in. It's a simple but excellent quality hotel. I now would prefer to choose this chain over some of the others I'm more inclined to stay at given the quality I experienced.”

• Trying to get to it on that strange road by Olive Garden, no straight shot.

“I was very pleased with the Hotel and room. Although, when I checked in I was almost charged for the 5 night stay again, wasn't told to park on the NW corner to get to my room easily, was not informed of check out time, the continental breakfast times, pretty much little help at the front desk. I think the girl was fairly new, but the gentlemen with her should have helped out.”

“The price was less than half the going rate on nearly all other hotels. The room was clean and they did bagels and coffee in the morning. If you really do not care about a pool, work out room or other such amenities, this is the place for you.”

“Location is good, free breakfast is lacking and not well stocked. Hotel staff failed to clean my room after first night, no clean towels or other essentials. Rooms are small and not well equipped, just a bed, a TV and a bathroom.”

• It is not a Fairfield Inn. It is a Regency Inn.

“While the Hotel was alright I did not like it that there was no coffee or hair shampoo available for the room and on the first morning for breakfast the donuts were extremely stale and I had to throw them away. Also it was very noisy at night.”

“Outstanding value. Comfortable, warm. Staff all remember me, and make sure that I am assigned a room in my preferred section of the hotel (third floor). They really go out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Breakfast is adequate, with boiled eggs, waffle station and yogurt, in addition to pastries and cereal. Very nice. ”
