• Very good hot breakfast!
• The furnace was loud.

• Breakfast was very good, with wide selection of items. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff was efficient.
• The hotel room is in need of a renovation to meet Residence Inn standards. The furnace was located immediately next to the bed and was extremely noisy.

“The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. All the facilities were clean and tidy. The only critique was that the furnace in the room I had was located next to the bed, and was very noisy. The room is tired looking, and is in need of a renovation to meet Residence Inn standards.”

• Amanda was extremely pleasant. The room was overall a surprise at its quality.
• They use some sort of cleanser on the floors that left a residue and tracked onto socks & feet - disgusting!

“We were quite please by the amenities and the staff. I used the fitness room and was happy that they had an elliptical trainer. The loft style was original but hindered privacy - especially trying to put a baby to bed while others watched TV.”

• Homey atmosphere.
• Furniture arranged oddly, but easily relocate able.

“I am always thrilled to see the Residence Inn appear on the bid acceptance confirmation page. The room is clean, the apartment-style layout is roomy, convenient, and adds a homey quality to the stay. All the basic necessities, plus several convenient luxuries, such as easy wireless Internet access. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Highly recommended.”

• Very friendly & hotel is clean.
• My husband can't eat the egg which cook with mix powder & make him sick.

“When I check-in the hotel, the person in the front desk is very polite & professional. During the time we were stay in the hotel the people work in the hotel are very nice & friendly. The room were clean & breakfast are good.”

• The rooms here do not seem like hotel rooms, but more like small apartments with all the trimming

• The room had a working fireplace, complimentary fire log, and full kitchen.

“This hotel is an extended stay location, but was wonderful for a weekend getaway as well. Our room was a studio suite with a full kitchen (including dishes, pots, pans, silverware, & dishwasher). Even better it had a working fireplace with a starter log provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Hotel had an apartment like atmosphere, my husband and I enjoyed our stay and we would recommend it to others.
• The pillows were not the best need to replace them.

“The hotel is clean and has plenty of space which was a treat in itself. This hotel is particularly nice for people who are staying for several nights because it has a kitchenette fully furnished. Great location in the fall/winter because of the cozy fireplace. Great accomodations for a reasonable price.”

• very large room with full kitchen! we had no idea!
• the trim on our door was coming off including the lock

• Clean, safe, quiet, and easy to find and use!
• I have no complaints.

“I was so surprised by the excellent facilities. Our room was very comfortable and so large! The staff were very accomadating to our needs (like extra pillows, and information on the area). And, the Saturday morning breakfast buffet was amazing!!!! Hot scrambled eggs, french toast, sausage, and hashbrowns, waffles, rolls, bagels, fruit, fresh yogarts, cereals, and juices. The coffee was good too. It was all delightful!All and all, our stay was GREAT! ”

• I like having the kitchen and being able to make ice in my own room also bathroom with separate sink & mirror.
• There was food garbage in garbage can under the bathroom sink.

• Huge room, great breakfast, and sports court

“Well equipped room with refrig. microwave, stove, even kitchen utensils. We felt home there.Pool was outside and it was still too cold to swim in June.”

• The overall stay was nice, the kitchen was different breakfast was delicious, the rooms had more than enough space to accomodate my family
• The only thing that I didn't like about this particular place was the pool was out doors and it rained really bad.

“the location was easy access to shopping and restaurants. It was different than a hotel with rooms next door or elevators it was like a home away from home with every thing that you need (stove, refrig, microwave and evening dishes).”

• Very clean, great amenities. Didn't feel like a hotel room, felt like a luxury apartment

“Although the staff was very accommodating, the suite itself lacked the freshness of other area Residence Inns at which I have had the pleasure of staying. The complementary breakfast was fresh and well prepared, yet there was not enough seating for the patrons who attended. I believe this hotel should be rated a 2-star.”

“We visit the Grand Rapids area 3-4 time per year and this is one of our favorites. The only negative thing I have to say about the hotel is that their pool is outdoors and was closed for the season. We have two children that look forward to a pool when we travel. Given the chance to stay at this facility again during the off season, (fall - spring) I'd take it in a heartbeat.”
