“Very nice hotel, great restaurant, newly remodeled, flat-screen TV, extremely clean, nice location. Pillows horrible.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Elaine from Georgetown, KY
“Great family place for a winter vacation with nice indoor pool, games etc. But, pool tended to be green/brown by evening and hot tub filled with polluted foam. When air not on in room, voices from below were magnified and disturbing. Vanity in bathroom was tiny -- not enough room for even one ditty bag let alone. Cosmetics. No refrigerator or microwave. To enter hotel have to walk through smoke from dozens smoking out front -- only easily accessible place for smokers. Restaurant/bar service was slow and food basically college friendly sandwiches and snacks.” Sep 1, 2008 by

“Clean. Great staff. Good food at the restaurant. Decent bar with attentive wait staff. WiFi is easy to access. Room is large, clean and well appointed. There is a small indoor water park for Aug 3, 2008 by

“Horrible, only in Kalamazoo by an easement.” Jul 11, 2008 by
Judith from Marietta, GA
“This hotel is a very clean, upbeat, inviting, relaxing place for families, business travellers and young people looking for a romantic getaway. All groups would be pleased with this location.” Jun 19, 2008 by

“The hotel is a 10 minute shuttle ride for downtown Kzoo. I highly recommend.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Jennifer from Wixom, MI
“I was very surprised at this hotel. At first, I was disappointed that we got the Holiday Inn as a four start hotel that I requested. However, don't be afraid. It is one of the nicest hotels that I have ever stayed at. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was very good. Eat dinner and had drinks. My son is going to be a freshman at Western Michigan University and I will stay there again when we go back and visit.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Mitch from Gladstone, MI
“This hotel is freshly renovated. The rooms are now better quality than you find in most resorts that are located in Cancun. The pool area is great for family activities and is one of the best designed.” Apr 1, 2007 by
Laura from Grand Rapids
“Hotel smelled. Non-smoking floor reeked of cigarette smoke. Stains, burns on carpet, pealing paint on walls, elevators smelled too. Hot tub was out of order, sauna was out of order. Saturday night - there were over 200 people in the reek area. The hotel rents out the reek area for parties that aren't staying at the hotel and regular guests could not use the pool or wreak area. Pool tables are not free and the q-ball does not return. No balls for the foosball table. Only one ping pong table and only one ball. Putting green was Nasty, wet, unusable. I will never stay at this hole again nor recommend anyone to stay. However, the restaurant was absolutely fabulous.” Mar 29, 2007 by

“This hotel was horrible. The Holidome was used for private kids¿ parties that included in excess of 50 children left attended by only 1-2 adults who were hosting the party. Not actual guests of the hotel but local people who can rent the facility like a chucky cheese. The conditions inside the Holidome were unsafe, filthy and extremely loud if unfortunate enough to being staying right above it. There was mold in the public shower as well as the one in our room. Bugs, bugs everywhere. Bugs in the public bathroom crawling around where people were walking barefoot. Our room had mold on the bathroom door as well as a few blood spots on tub. Absolutely the worst hotel experience.” Jun 1, 2006 by

“Staff was friendly enough, but faltered on service. Noisy meeting rooms--located near kitchen and you could hear conversations, pots and pans, and lots of noise coming from kitchen during presentations. Also, smoking travels throughout first floor from bar area. Old hotel--fitness room located in same area as pool and made the room very stuffy and humid. Seemed clean, but dingy. TERRIBLE coffee--no Starbucks in this town!! Convenient location near airport and Amtrak station, but not close to anything else. Doubtful whether I would return unless another conference was held here.” Feb 23, 2006 by
Thomas from Iron Mountain, MI
“When we arrived, they assigned us an occupied room. ” Feb 22, 2006 by
Michelle from Royal Oak, MI
“I enjoyed my stay. Although other members of my group spoke of rude clerks at the desk, I had great interactions with the staff.” Hotel Representatives:
