• The continental breakfast was wonderful. I spent time with 2 daughters as one was flying back to San Francisco that next day.
• Was a great get away?

“Good safe location. Had fun with daughters before one went back to San Francisco. She came home for my fathers funeral. The place was quiet and met our needs.”

• Very bright and clean room, wonderful bedding.
• Noisy by the elevator, also the doors slam in the morning so you cannot sleep in.

“We had a wonderful experience, the location was good, friendly staff, above all it was clean, which is very important. I liked the down pillows and comforter. I will definitely stay at another Springhill Suite.”

• Attractive, roomy, clean, delightful!
• Initially had trouble finding it.

“My husband and I were delighted with the quality, comfort, and spaciousness of our room at the Springhill Suites. Our breakfast there was good, too. We only wished that the conference we were attending had not kept us so busy that we could not spend more time at the motel!!!”

• I liked that it was right behind a shopping center. It was right by everything I needed.

• Layout of the room was great, neatly appointed and had all the amenities you'd expect and more.
• Ease of access by the freeways.

• Very nice rooms. Convenient to everything. Easy to find.
• The elevators roared like they were about to break.

“This hotel met all of our standards as far as cleanliness, convenience, amenities and price. The staff was always friendly and they made our stay all the more comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone whether for a personal getaway or on business.”

• Hotel rooms were nicely decorated and roomy.
• Beds were a little small. Kids running around well past midnight.

“Wife and I were looking for a little "weekend get-away" from the kids. Picked a business hotel to be away from them, hotel was full of kids, local high school cheer teams must of had a big meet. Rooms were very nice, staff was helpful, but over worked and stressed out from the cheer teams being there. Great breakfast, eggs, sausage, waffles etc. Would stay again, but would check for an off weekend.”

• Very clean and decorated nicely, upgraded beds and bedding were very nice and comfortable.
• We had some noisy neighbors in the night.

• There was nothing I did not like.

“This was our second stay at this hotel, and this would be our hotel of choice when coming to Grand Rapids, as long as they meet our price. We come to Grand Rapids quite frequently as our children and soon coming grandchild are here.”

“The location was exceptionally easy to find. The suite was beautiful and very clean. The service was tremendous. The gym, pool, and whirlpool were great extras. We had a wonderfully romantic getaway. Thank you!”

• Great breakfast, Well Maintained, Extremely Clean, Good Fitness Facility & Friendly Staff.
• One night hockey team, next night cheerleaders, both nights loud and no sleep. Staff was helpful.

“This was my best stay for the money. The room was big and nice. The place looked brand new and we asked and they said it was 3 years old. Very well kept. I have to say the Springhill Suites should be ranked a 3 Star. Aside from the noisy nights (which are no fault of the hotel), the stay was perfect. I couldn't ask for any more than the hotel gave. 9 out of 10”

“The hotel itself was great, however, I thought that I would be able to either get a king size bed or two twins for the same price and when I got to the hotel, was unable to get a king size bed and had to settle for two twins.”

• It was very warm and inviting and not just a bed in a tiny room, there was actually a living room and kitchenette.
• The bathroom could of been a bit bigger to fit the room better.

“Their breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had from any hotel. It was a very peaceful and relaxing hotel everyone there was really helpful and friendly.”

• This hotel was very clean and roomy. The bathroom was spotless and they had in the room, everything we needed. The free breakfast was very nice.
• The room was too warm and the temperature was hard to regulate. The breakfast offered fruit that did not seem very fresh.

“I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of choices.”

• Very nice hotel. The staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel was clean and well kept. Attention to detail was very apparent.
• I can't think of a thing, I did not like about the hotel.

• TV was in an inconvenient location in the room.

“Hotel is in quite location yet close to restaurants and shops. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. There is a small shop in the lobby for snacks or sundries (much nicer than vending machines). Small indoor pool with spa and fitness area available.”

• The desk work space inside the room was comfortable and well managed.
• The air conditioning unit may need the filter checked.

“This is a perfect hotel for the business traveler who needs to get regional work done. Located at the I-94 exit at Alpine Drive, with Shopping, Movie Multiplex, and a great view from the hotel entrance, it was the perfect spot for this facility. The suite was comfortable, with microwave and refrigerator but also that wonderful work desk at the telephone & dsl port.”

• Spaceous large rooms, nice variety of continental breakfast foods, lots of comfortable pillows, double bed room had ability to sleep 6 comfortably.
• Pool was rather small, coffee was not kept up throughout the day in the lounge area.

“The rooms were very spaceous, the breakfast was a good mix of variety, the layout of the hotel was simple. The pool was a bit small but overall a good quality place to stay.”

• Breakfast bar didn't have many options,broke down before designated time and did not restocked very quickly, t.v. no where near bed.

• Teriffic breakfast bar. Quiet location. Thermostat.
• Very poor soundproofing. Poor pool/ jacuzzi area. noisy bath fan.

“Marriott meets Motel 6. Reasonably sized room with desk & chair, sofa, easy chair, king bed, mini-fridge and micro. Lacks door between sleeping area and vanity area. Except for poor soundproofing good room for single. Awkward for two people unless they sleep and are awake at the same time. Wall thermostat temp control a big plus. Would not choose to stay again with wife due to above reasons. Did get a prompt e-mail appology from submitted comment card.”
